Takes a lot of patience to put the basket together. You will need patience to assemble the metal basket because it takes one hand to hold it and one hand to put the screw into the pole. You have to tighten the bands around the pole BEFORE you can fully tighten the screw. It’s a bit tricky so I kept looking at the pictures given. Once it is put together it will pluck fruit from higher branches of my apple trees BUT the bent metal ends of the basket should be a touch longer to really get around the fruit and INTO the basket instead of dropping it on the ground. I could have just used a metal rake! I was able to harvest higher branches of apples so I only took off one star. Patience needed!
Can’t catch them all. You can’t get some of the apples to break off of the tree and fall into the basket so they end up falling on the ground. It was worth the money though. My tree was so loaded with apples this year that they were in clusters which made it hard to pick without falling.
Quick to assemble and easy to use. No instructions, but it is very easy to assemble. Went together quickly and is holding up great. I’ve been using it to pick apples from my crab apple tree, and it’s easy to use. I’ll have actual apple trees in a few years and will try it with those when the time comes.
Really nice fruit puller. It could use one more extender piece to get it a bit higher but overall for the price it was well worth it. Get the fruit before the squirrels bite each one only to throw them on the ground lol

When the description said it was telescoping, I was worried that it would be and extendable and retractable, with segments sliding into other segments. That type of pose is usually flimsy and fragile, although convenient for storing while retracted.But this fruit picker has pole segments that screw into each other with a heavy-duty plastic sleave. This makes for a rigid and useful pole that will not flex while pushing through leaves and branches. Included are two pipe clamps, not just one. And each clamp has a wide turning handle that makes it easy to hand tighten. This is attention to detail and shows that the company cares about product quality. They could have easily included just one clamp that is screwdriver tightened, but the fastening would have been less secure, and a tool would be needed to tighten.The instructions were adequate and used color pictures, not black and white drawings. The box had a sticker with a reminder to follow instructions before use. The written instructions should have been clearer. The steps should be re-arranged with (1) the basket joined around the pole segment with the hole, (2) clamps should be attached loosely so that the bolt can fit in the holes and through the gap between the basket halves, (3) the clamps are tightened, (4) the wide end of the nut is screwed onto the bolt, and (5) the pole segments are attached.I just used it to pick a large lemon and it worked like a charm.

Works well. Good reach, light weight. Size is good and easy to use. Only thing I didn’t like is the edges, they tend to poke into the fruits when you try to grab them but other than that it’s great and works well.
Works well for apple picking. Handle has sections to screw together for desired length—not telescoping.Assembly directions were terrible but thankfully assembly was not difficult.Wrench did not fit screw, but a pliers worked fine.
Was not expecting it to be great. I love it. Very sturdy and very practical for travelling. When I ordered I was not expecting it to be of great quality at the price. It’s very well built and designed. Looking forward to testing it this weekend. The only one thing I did not like about it, is that the bag is not big enough to include the head if you leave it hooked to the first pole section. Other than that all good.
Love it for our backyard apple tree. This went together well and really quickly. Works great and we have used it on our peach tree and our apple tree. It works better than I was expecting for the price. Makes getting those higher up fruits much easier! Comes with a foam padding to keep from bruising the fruit and is very lightweight.
Works very well. Tool that came with the item to hold the nut while turning the screw did not fit properly so used pliers instead. Otherwisefabulous item, worked great on my guava tree. The pole is easy to adjust by adding or subtracting more sections. Very sturdy. Weight not a problem for a Small woman.
It worked great. This picker worked great, just as it should, and it wasn’t as heavy as our other one was, so it’s a great deal!We’re very happy with it. 🙂
