Ease of use and avoids spills. The product acts as a pacifier, and the syringe helps send medication through the channel and into the inside of the baby’s cheek, which makes it easier to consume. It is an excellent product; we have used it for all three of our children.
Loved this item and used all the time. I used this item everyday for almost 4 months with my newborn. He got sick a lot and was a very snotty baby. It was the only product that worked to get out that thick deep snot. I did find that over time the rubber would wear out so you might have to replace that on your next baby. But the filter worked great and it was super easy to use. I also use saline with this and that helped a lot.
Must Have for Baby’s Medicine Basket. Having a sick little kid or baby is tough enough. The last thing you want at a time like that is facing any additional challenges – but little ones are notoriously difficult to give medicine to… this makes it so much easier and is worth every penny! It truly helps squirmy babies take medicine (and actually swallow it – rather than spitting it out)… plus, it has common dosing measurements for the correct dosage! 10/10 – definitely recommend!
This could have gone either way. I got this when I first had my daughter and was trying to give her gripe water because her gassiness and constipation was outrageous. So much so that she continues to lose sleep over it. When we first tried this she was about a month and a half old, she was absolutely terrible drinking from a bottle and constantly pulled milk into her lungs. This product did not work for us initially. It squirt way too fast into her mouth and she couldn’t figure it out, with the added new taste, she just hated it and so did we. She is now almost 4 months old and she recently got sick. Enough so that I had to give her Tylenol around the clock to break her fever. So I pulled out this little gadget and gave it a go again. It worked so perfectly for her. I got her dose of Tylenol in quickly and without fuss right before each bottle feeding. She was so hungry she just immediately started to suckle and took the medicine in before she realized what it was. Let me state my daughter is breastfed baby. She only use bottles when necessary (I am out and my husband is feeding her or when she got sick it was easier to bottle feed and let her rest). She drinks out of a bottle like a champ now, but worse than any other baby I’ve seen when she was a month old. All things to consider why this worked for us. I would highly recommend, even if you don’t use it until baby is a couple months old. It’s a life saver when you have to give your baby medicine one way or the other.
