  1. The best hair remover that I’ve found. I love this rake! We have a Shiba Inu dog and he is constantly is “blowing” his coat. Mitzu’s looked more like a scruffy ball of shedding hair until I found this on Amazon. Since we can’t bathe him, (Just try to get a Shiba into a bath!) we kept searching. After many trial and error purchases, we finally found this one.Look no further, this one does it all. I also have 3 cats, two of witch are long haired. This comb deals with tangles, hair balls and does a great job on the undercoat. This FreshlyBaily comb is fantastic, it never pulls, unless you run into a very large cat tangle. Those you might have remove with scissors, or your vet can take care of those.I highly recommend this tool to friends and family, it leaves others in the wind

  2. Lifesaver of a tool. This thing is an absolute lifesaver. My Siberian cat had a couple mats on his back that were getting progressively worse. The regular wide tooth comb and furminator that I use weren’t helping at all. It was starting to cause him discomfort and after trying to resolve them for a week with his regular combs I was really close to just shaving them off. After watching a few videos I bought coconut oil (safe for cats to ingest), rubbed some into the matted area, held the mat toward the base as best I could and used this tool in very small motions starting at the end. It took about 5-10 minutes of work but the matting is completely gone and it caused very minimal stress to my cat. He didn’t seem to mind much at all when I used this tool, while he really hated when I tried to comb them out with the other combs. Awesome dematting tool 👍

  3. This ACTUALLY works. I have a long haired calico. She developed a bunch of matted fur on her back, near her tail. Over time, it’s gotten a little worse and we were considering taking her to a groomer. This cat is sweet and loving to US (most of the time, haha) but she does not really like other people, and she is quick to bite and scratch. I felt like a groomer should be a last resort – for both of their sakes!I bought this brush and started using it on her. Just for a minute or two at a time. She likes to be brushed, but this pulls a little, so you have to be gentle. But even in the first couple of minutes, I got rid of one of the smaller matts. Then, she swung at me, so I took a break. This will not work super fast, at least in my case, but I plan to brush her a little each day until the matts are gone. This is a far better alternative for us than the groomer. The other side of the brush helps to get to that undercoat where alot of that starts, so it’s a great brush for maintenance as well. Such a small investment and such a big impact.

  4. Miracle detangler. I’ve had cats all my life but until I rescued this 6 year old “Maine coon”, never have I owned a cat with such an outstandingly dense coat. His hair is long AF too, but also just incomprehensibly thick. The regular cat brush with the fine metal tines is great for brushing away loose fur but it was no match to this guy’s rapidly matting hair.I pair this detangler with a metal comb which finds the mats and then use this to gently as possible remove the mats. I finish the the soft metal brush to remove loose fur.I’m not going to lie. My cat hats the detailing part. But matted hair is no way to live either. Hopefully I’ll become more skilled at being his personal stylist as time goes on. He is a fantastic cat who deserves nothing short of being spoiled rotten. But for now we find this three-brush approach to be effective.

  5. This is a godsend. Long-haired cat owner here. I literally almost gave up with removing a growing mat on the back of my cat’s hind legs that I wasn’t even aware of until deep grooming one day. The mat was the size of a quarter along with a penny sized one. It had been developing for a while without my knowledge and is a spot that my cat will messily groom and tangle up.It was stressful trying to get it out with my regular brushes so I decided to give this a try.I used the wide prong side first and with the proper technique, I got the mat out within ten minutes and my cat was much less stressed. It actually removed the clump without ripping out the regular hair around it.Now I use it to maintain her fur’s texture and prevent and fur mats. This has made life so much easier for both of us and we actually look forward to grooming time now.
