The BEST leave-in conditioner but smells awful. I see so many people rave about how this smells, and I just… huh? It smells like the super strong perfume my grandmother wore to church when her sense of smell started to go bad. Fortunately, the smell of my conditioner softens it up once my hair is dry.Like, the smell is so strong that I tried to find something else that would work as well because it’s off-putting. And that’s where it gets a great rating – this product, despite smelling like the set of a soap opera circa 1987, is hands-down the BEST holy grail of a leave-in conditioner I’ve ever come across.It makes me hair look shiny and healthy, makes it feel like silk, and keeps tangles away like no other product out there – all without causing a ton of build-up. Seriously, it’s like magic. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t go anywhere near my nose.Also, just for reference – my hair is VERY long. A little past butt length. If this product can control my mane, it will likely work well for you, too.Finally, a little goes a LONG way. This makes the price a bit more palatable, but also makes use of the product a little tricky. I have thick slightly wavy hair. If your hair is fine, this may be too heavy or you may have to be very careful how you apply it. I’m careful not to spray it close to my roots and I concentrate most of it on my ends. Just four or five sprays is enough for this hair monster, so use sparingly!Btw, if you aren’t sure if this will work for you, they make a trial size that is like $12 so you can try it out first.
I wish it didn’t work so well. Makes the tangles disappear, makes my hair shine without weighing it down. You also don’t have to use a lot. Which brings me to….I dislike the price, I bought it when it was $5 less and didn’t like it at that price. The problem is nothing works as well for me. I have tried so many detanglers they tend to leave my hair sticky. I have thinning and very very fine hair, so the sticky makes it look thinner. I like the smell, it seems to be controversial but I wash my hair at night so the smell has dissipated when I am in close contact. I have given it up several times, I used to get it from Sephora, they were higher and unless they were having a shipping special, you had shipping on top of it. I waste more money on things that don’t work. THIS WORKS.
Absolutely love. Absolutely love this product! It’s done wonders for my hair. My hair has been through multiple bleaching and hair treatments and was in desperate need for some saving. The leave in conditioner has definitely helped with repairing my hair, would highly recommend!
Use daily. I have naturally wavy hair, and highlights. I use this everyday after towel drying my hair so I can get a comb through it. Super easy to use, I just spray about four times no greasy hair. Keeps my hair soft and healthy. It’s a little pricey but worth it.
Pricey but, worth it. I love this leave in conditioner! The scent is amazing and it detangles really well. I use it on me and I also spray a little on my puppy after her bath! (spray on hands and then rub on puppy to keep it out of her eyes) I wish it were a little more economical to buy but, I kept an old bottle and I do dilute it for spraying because it takes so little to work!
The scent is soo addicting and leaves my hair silky soft. This is my most favorite conditioner spray! I absolutely love the smell it’s refreshing and it’s like you have perfume in your hair all day, the type that people will be turning and complimenting! But if you’re not the type that enjoys strong scents maybe not for you! or just spray lightly throughout your hair! The product itself works great I spray when my hair is damp before doing a blowout and the outcome is always silky and soft 10/10
Great for curly hair. I am always searching for newer (hopefully better 😉) hair products to use on my naturally curly hair. As I have aged, my hair is frizzier because I have to color the gray regularly 🙄. This quai leave-in does a really nice job controlling frizz without weighing my hair down. I use a lot (like, a lot!) of other products in my hair that have been tried and true over the years, but the leave-in I loved for years was discontinued a long time ago. I’ve been searching for a replacement. Think I found it! 😀The only very minor downside is the smell. It’s very floral, which I don’t mind, but it’s very strong when I’m spraying it on my wet hair. But because I use many other products, once my hair is dry, the quai leaves behind a nice light fragrance. 5 stars ⭐️!

It’s definitely strongly scented, though, so if you are someone who is bothered by strong scents this is not the product for you.

Fantastic product that does what it claims. I have curly (3a/3b), low porosity, color-treated hair that I like wearing both curly and straight. I wanted a heat protectant and found this product– after looking into the claims (nourishes hair, tames frizz, protects when heat styling, helps detangling, etc.) it seemed too good to be true but I have heard good things about this brand.Pros: Does everything it says for my hair (amazingly!)– my hair feels so healthy, especially on the ends, even when I heat style, and it brought a true softness and shine back to my strands I wasn’t expecting. It also has a scent I like, and I don’t need a lot of product so I feel it will last for many uses that make the price worth it.Cons: As mentioned, it is scented so if you are very, very sensitive to fragrances, this may be a con for you. I tend to be sensitive to smells, but this actually doesn’t bother me (it’s not something you’ll keep smelling once your hair is dry and styled). The price is also a bit prohibitive, but I feel the performance is worth it.I would recommend to someone looking to achieve results that the product description gives. It delivers on it’s claims and this is a new staple in my routine now, despite being the priciest part of my hair routine now. I will absolutely repurchase.
So good. We have hard water and my hair has been both so greasy and dry at the ends. I couldn’t put on any product because it just seemed worse. This one however is fantastic. My hair is so soft, it smells amazing, and it’s not greasy at all.
Very strong smell. Seems to work ok but it has a very strong smell, not a bad smell but it is overwhelming. If you are sensitive to smells, I would not get this product.
Best hair product out there – a must try. Best hair product out there! I’m very very low maintenance with my hair and don’t like to use much product if any because I like to go 3-4 days without washing my hair and I have found that most product leaves a residue so I skip it. This leave-in conditioner has been a game changer – I got it in a Fat Fit Fun box 7+ years ago and have been purchasing it ever since. I spray it into my wet hair after showering and either air dry or blow dry before straightening and it makes a world of a difference with texture, look, and heat protection. I cannot say enough good things about it – it’s my holy grail of all hair products. I have medium-thick hair and a lot of it and it is very frizzy, so this helps with keeping my fresh hair looking great from day 1. It’s a little pricey compared to other leave-in conditioners, but trust me it’s worth it. Never going back to any other leave-in!

I am AMAZED with just using this the first time – I have done my own hair for years, but NEVER experienced a leave in conditioner like this one!! Takes frizz and smells amazing. This stuff is amazing, during summ I my hair gets frizzy but ever since I started using this stuff I’ve gotten so many compliments about my hair and how tamed it is, I have wavey/curly hair and this stuff isn’t AMAZING I’ve put all my friends on this. I really like it, minus the scent. I love this leave in conditioner. I originally bought it for myself but I don’t like the rose scent of it. Do I gave it to my son who has very curly hair. It’s made his hair so healthy and shiny. It’s all he uses now.
Smells nice, Nice detangling. This is a very nice leave in conditioner, smells pleasant. My hair was very smooth after blow drying. If I had to compare it to another leave in spray conditioner, I have used I have to say I still love the Davines OI All in One Milk. Still interested in trying other OUAI products.
