The color photos and notations help explain the topic or page information, too. I found the pages with the foods and their corresponding carbohydrate counts, protein counts to be the best for me. At a glance I can see all the most common best low carb vegi’s along with the protein counts from vegi’s. Very helpful. The only downside to the ebook is the words are really small and I had to enlarge my page and scroll back and forth. I guess that’s because of the photos. Still, the information was highly useful for learning more body metabolism.

There are so many things that we are eating that seem to be healthy, and we have no idea how these items are adversely affecting our health. It is almost overwhelming, but the author does throw quite a few lifelines by giving us nutritional options. I was shocked by how much the appearance of our food had changed by human intervention. The idea that all fruit is healthy is not sound, and the author does a great job explaining herself.The book strongly advocates a keto-type diet, and as you read the book, you will understand why. Most of us are approaching weight loss incorrectly. The author explains the keto diet in a way that is logical and plain common sense. The author finishes off the book by going into detail on various minerals and vitamins. This was very helpful and informative. There are several changes that I am going to make to my diet as a result of reading this solid book. The author also has a website and offers personal coaching. I learned a tremendous amount by reading this book.
