Best pruners ever made, highly superior to all others. I have been gardening for almost thirty years, and this is my go-to tool. I lost the pair I had, so immediately replaced it. I’m not too happy with the locking mechanism, which seems to open and close without my touching it. You’d be surprised at how annoying this is.
This is the one to get. You know when you try cutting a green, flexible branch, and how that twig somehow turns sideways without getting cut, and it jams up the pruners? Well this one does not do that! Look closely at the machined edges of the non-cutting jaw and you’ll see the quality. The best just costs more to make.
Top quality. Looking for pruners that will last a lifetime? Buy Felco. I used Fiskars for years and they would always fall apart. I spent the extra $ for these and the difference in all aspects of these is impressive. Ergonomics, fit and finish, durability, ability to hold an edge, and ease of use all apply to these outstanding pruning shears.
Excellent Quality. After buying 3 different pruners over the last 10 years, I saw a video on a gardening channel that recommended this Felco brand. They were more than what I had paid for the other pairs I had purchased but they were so highly reviewed that I gave them a try. I love them. It makes pruning so much easier since they cut with very little effort. I highly recommend them.
Made to last. These clippers appear expensive , but they are made to last! I had a pair for over a year and lost them when I was redoing a flower bed. Needless to say I immediately ordered another pair.Fair warning, the blades are SHARP! They will cut thick tree limbs with a little effort! The safety is very easy to use though and I’ve made it a habit to immediately lock them.The smaller felcos are a better option for small tasks like harvesting vegetables, but they are great for practically everything else. They sometimes become stiff after a lot of use. I just squirt some WD40 in them and they’re good as new.
Worth the higher price. I’ve been using this thing quite a lot since I bought it a few weeks ago. Compared to other brands I’ve used before, this Felco pruner is not as hard on my old hand. It seems slimmer, sturdier, stronger, and more effective at cutting small limbs. Small, yes, but bigger than I would’ve dared with the cheaper counterparts I’ve used in the past. For bigger limbs, I use my lopper. The blades haven’t bent, separated, or dulled. Only time will tell, but I strongly suspect I’m in for a really good quality, long term relationship with these hand held shears. Oh! And, I love that they’re RED. Looks aren’t everything, of course, but it sure makes them easier to find every time I forget where I laid them as I’m working.

The Right Tool for the Job. Over the years I have purchased bypass pruners from the big box stores, but this time I wanted to see if the higher end tool was worth the money. It is. I have used this bypass pruners for about 8 hours and am quite pleased with their performance. Solid construction. Cuts with minimal effort and fits well in one’s hand. No regrets withy purchase.

Nice clean cut after months of use. These are a little heavier than most you will buy at a hardware store. The precision of the blades make for a sharper, cleaner cut. Grips feel great in my hand. Would definitely recommend.

Best Pruners on the Market. I previously owned a plant nursery and have tried every pruner that I know of — none of which equal the quality of Felco #2’s. You’ll pay more for Felcos, but they’ll last forever with a little care and occasional blade replacement. Not to mention, these pruners make the cleanest cuts, which is better for your plants.
