But I’m not worried about the plastic bars and nuts holding up, so understand that.I needed more weights, and the versatility and quality of these plastic covered plates is awesome — I do love the plastic coated weights more than the old school no coating metal plates. I had a huge set at one time, had to downsize to the 2.5 + 5 pound plates when I moved.I’ve been putting together a new home gym, and when these came as a lightening deal, I caved to the marketing — but it really was a good deal, and I can now use my choice of bars, and have plenty of weights to work with.The only thing that would make this better would be if the chest press/kettle ball came with a second pin so that we could make two kettle balls, not just one.Many kettle ball routines use a kettle ball in each hand, and I don’t think you can buy the little stem separately.That would be awesome — perhaps the seller will allow a separate purchase.Anyway, this set is a great addition to my evolving home gym.I’d probably be less excited if I didn’t have my own standard gym bar and dumbbell sets, but that’s okay.I think this would be an excellent set for anyone just getting started.

Hard plastic an sand weights. I loved the universal utility to it, the screw part allows for 4 weights at a time, so not all the weight can fit, which is ok, then doing certain exercises you have to modify a bit because the screw part is long, an using the barbell attachment, is nice, but not long enough for me (5’10) so I have to modify a bit here as well, I know my form isn’t perfect, and honestly I still use these, because even with the modified ways I have to, it gets the job done in the way I need it to

Had an issue with 1 piece and company rep rectified immediately.Best value for this set and you can do somany workouts with this set.I plan on buying a second set to have extra pieces, since they don’t sell individual pieces and as people mentioned, you would have to keep re-adjusting during the middle of your workouts, to set up your consecutive exercises.Quality is as shown in pics. The company offers a metallic rod set but most are made of hard durable plastic. Impressed and thought they were very well made.Truly happy with my purchase. You won’t be disappointed!!!
Great set for the $. Lots of twisting and unscrewing when switching weight or exercise, but worth it for saving space and the combination of barbell/dumbbell/kettle. Great customer support as well. I was missing one of the set nuts and received 2 in the mail within days!
Easy for an AT HOME GYM. If you are someone like me who tends to give herself an excuse to not drive but also wants to work out this is for you. I love it because it gives you all the tools you need to workout AND MAyour arms, legs, thighs, and even the booty hahaha
Unbeatable for its price. These are so much cheaper than the bow flex adjustable system that’s very popular. If you can sacrifice a little bit of space and the tiny inconvenience of having to screw the weights on and off these are a great purchase. A really great value if you just need some basic smaller weights for home work outs and you don’t want to spend the stupid name brand tax associated with other brands.
Happy. I’m happy with this purchase. It’s not gym quality but it’s sufficient for my household. We live close to the ocean, so the fact that it’s plastic and won’t rust is a huge bonus. This weight set is great quality for the money.
One kettlebell. Like it overall, I didn’t realize it required a specific rod for the kettlebell, and it only has one of those, was hoping for 2 kettlebell adapters and I don’t see anywhere that you can buy just an extra kettlebell rod.
Changing out the weights was more time consuming than I realized. I like that these are plastic coating. It’s easy to assemble but didn’t frame how cumbersome it would be to constantly change the weights. I would have probably passed on this had I realized.

I haven’t tried the kettle ball yet but I think you could get 25# (5 disks It only takes a few seconds to piece together a full barbell. Transition should be pretty smooth to go between weights or dumbbell/barbell.To be honest though, I should of bought the 70# or even the 90#. I typically can’t bench more than 50#, my arms are thin. this gives me a nice range to work up to another level. or at least stay toned. This might be good for a teenager who is new to working out. The investment is nominal and if I stop using it I won’t mind the cost and can donate it to charity later. If I step up to the next levels I will be able to have barbells and dumbbells’ together and a fuller set and have a smoother workout. There is no reason to scoff that these are plastic. They are most likely sand or a concrete under a polymer shell. They make it easier to handle and cheaper to make but without sacrificing quality. There is no real reason to have metal or lead for weights that make them more expensive. Thermo plastic is fine. I would not slam or drop these, but you don’t need to soft handle them either.

Good Basic Dumbbell Set. I got the 25 pound dumbbell set and it works well. The only problem I have with the set is that the plastic fasteners for the end of the dumbbells keeps coming loose. I ended up taping the ends on with electrical tape to keep the fasteners from coming undone. Otherwise, it is a good set of dumbbells.

Wow! Excellent product at a great price. Weight sets can be crazy expensive! Don’t waste your money on them when these are perfect for home and personal gym use!!! They are well constructed, super easy to assemble and disassemble. The size, grip and ergonomics are comfortable and well designed. This set exceeded my expectations in every way.
Works well for weights. This product gets the job done, and it’s very easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the dumbbells itself for the design is a little long. Very good durability and portability. The grip is very solid and easy to for storage.

Great product value. Honestly very impressed with the quality and aesthetic of this product. It’s been very easy to store and manage. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the grip themselves are a little rough on the hands (esp. for the heavier weights) and I wish the dumbbell themselves were a little shorter. Other than that it has been a fantastic addition to my household gym!
Very easy to assemble. This weight set is very easy to assemble, and everything is the right weight and size! There are not too many parts, and diversity of the main parts is great! They include gloves that will help with grip and makes working out more effective!

Great starter set. My son (almost 16) requested a set of dumbbells. I had no clue what to get but the reviews and price told me to give this set a try. He loves it. It came with everything it said and assembles easily. Would recommend!
Great set of weights. I wanted a reasonably easy, convertible set of handheld weights for a home that I could use to work on overall body strength. I have bands for resistance training, but some things just work better with weights IMHO. This set is reasonably priced, and easily changes from barbells to kettles to dumbells. Definitely recommend, even for us more mature folks who have some difficulty with our hands, these secure easily!
Super convenient and good value. This set is well made and convenient to use! Great value especially because it was a lightning deal. The collars start to slide a little on the individual weights as dumbbells which is why u knocked it 4 stars. Overall great.
