Better than my $20 mascara. I was a religious user of Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, but I wanted to try out something else that had a better price point. If you’re familiar with the Too Faced, there is HIGH payoff on the first swipe, so I was disappointed that the first coat of this was pretty light. However, on the second coat, it’s the same volume you’d want from Too Faced without that heavy, clumping feeling. It is easily buildable. I cannot believe how light this formula is for the work it’s doing! I only applied two coats, and one coat on my lower lashes was perfect. I didn’t know mascara could feel this *light* and look so good. Normally, with extended wear, my eyes end up feeling itchy with mascara on but this feels like nothing is there. The quality combined with the price cannot be beat!
Very nice but. The mascara goes on nicely. No clumping or smudging. My lashes stay soft and multiple coats go on nicely. BUT…the mascara is no better than any other I have tried. Great price – absolutely a bargain. But I don’t see the ‘falsies’ effect. I will continue to use it as it’s effective as a regular mascara but I am missing all the ka-pow others are talking about.
Great stuff. Does exactly what it says – it makes your lashes look super long and glides on really easily. Only down side in my opinion is that it flakes LIKE CRAZY when it starts to get even a little old and ends up all over my under eye area (I don’t usually have this problem). But it’s so cheap, I guess you could just plan to replace it more quickly than other mascaras.
Magical Mascara. I’ve seen this come up on many different top 10 list for must haves. Decided to try it out, especially because you can’t beat the price. I was blown away!! This is 100 times better than the expensive high dollar mascaras! This will now be my go to! The first 3 pictures are no mascara, next 3 are with one round of mascara and the last 2 are a second round. My eyelashes went from little to looking like false lashes!!!! Love love love!!!
Best mascara ever. I’ve tried every Mascara under the sun. I have pretty short lashes so I’m always on the hunt for mascara that makes them longer, darker, fuller, but not clumpy. For a while I really liked this Laura Geller mascara but they discontinued and I tried another but it was SO clumpy. I saw this on a buzzfeed article and oh my gosh this is THE best mascara I’ve ever had. When I use this with a lash curler it legit looks like faux lashes. They better not stop making this kind and don’t change nothin!! And for the price too?? Can’t be beat.
#1 Mascara. Okay this mascara is absolutely bonkers!!! I remember using it as a teenager, but I’ve used so many mascaras from then to now that I don’t remember which ones gave what results. (If that makes any sense!) Fast forward many years, I’ve used ALL the mascaras trying to find my holy grails again. Only a few (((OUT OF HUNDREDS!))) have truly made my lashes POP. Who knows why I ever wanted to try new ones, but now so many years later I don’t remember which those few bangers were anymore. I seriously should have wrote them down. So as of lately, I have been on the hunt to find those mascaras again!! I saw that this mascara has gone viral and I remembered “hey, I used to use that a long time ago!” I had forgotten how I liked it, or if I even did. No harm in trying it out again though!Let me tell you, I was already in disbelief about the price. And the moment of clarity and instant recollection I felt when I realized that THIS was one of my long lost holy grails; I felt like I had been reconnected to a lost love.This mascara is unbelievable. For like $5 you get the most amazing lashes you have ever seen on yourself! I always like to coat and coat and coat my mascara, and usually have to with most mascaras anyways to get the results I like, but honestly you can already see a mega difference after just one coat with this mascara. The image I provided is definitely not only one coat, because I got carried away adding more coats and feeling straight ecstasy while I did. But you can see the volume and length power that this mascara holds. I used the essence false lash effect mascara in combination with the essence mascara primer. I am completely blown away, and obssesed, and won’t use another brand again. Also worthy to mention that I just dropped $30 on Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, and I seriously prefer this $5 Lash Princess by a longshot.Ladies, this Lash Princess mascara will have you actually looking, and feeling, like a freaking lash princess.
So glad I found this. I am so happy with this mascara, it does exactly as promised.I’ve used a different brand of mascara with the false fibers in the past, but it went way way up in price. I did not want to spend all that money on mascara. So I’ve been doing without for a long time now. Most mascaras do not do anything for my lashes at all. They are very short and sparse. which is why I liked the false fiber mascara I had always used.I saw all of the thousands of great reviews for this mascara, so I figured I’d give it a shot. And let me tell you…I am glad I did! This mascara makes my lashes look long, thick, and full, without looking clumpy or cake-y. The length it gives to my lashes make my eyes look more open, and thus make me more “awake” looking, which I love. The first time I wore this mascara out to work, I had so many compliments on how pretty my eyes looked that day.I am super duper happy with this mascara, and this will definitely be my “go-to” from now on. I highly recommend you give it a try if you are on the fence!
Really good for the price. I’ve been on a natural high since 2020. Natural hair, Natural Nails and Natural lashes. Since I’ve stopped wearing false lashes I’ve been in search or a good mascara. I wanted one that didn’t cost $30 plus and this one is currently doing the trick. I like the fullness and the length it gives my lashes. It clumped a little but here’s a trick I learned. Put a couple of drops of clear eyes or visine or your eye drop of choice. Heck, you can drip some contact solution in it too. Any liquid that’s safe for eyes. This thins it out a bit and then it’s perfect. You can even use this trick if you’re running out and your in a pinch but still need those lashes on point. Bottom line, TRY IT! It’ so cheap, why not?
My new go to mascara. I’m never without mascara. That’s the one make-up I NEVER go without. I’m incredibly picky about how it looks and applies as well. I’ve tried several others over many years and never quite found the “perfect” one for me. I stumbled upon this one while browsing for mascara on Amazon and noticed the reviews so I decided to give it a chance. Especially since it was just $4.99!I’m impressed actually. It applies easily. If you use the thicker part of the wand it creates lots of volume along with length. It doesn’t smudge or flake either. I’ve been wearing it ALL day for several days now without any of those problems. It’s buildable. I give it a few seconds to dry some before I apply again. It gives hella length! I don’t have issues with clumping either. But, I always use an old dry mascara wand to go over my lashes after each application (for any mascara I wear) and that always takes any clumping away if there is any. But, if you apply mascara the way it’s intended (wiggle the wand back and forth as you apply) clumping shouldn’t be a problem.This brand is very similar to L’Oreal telescopic lift in the way that it looks when finished just much easier to apply.My new go to mascara for sure!
Better than Better than Sex mascara. I was always a huge stickler on my mascara, as I always use false lashes so if I don’t have the time to put on falsely’s I need a good mascara. I usually swear by the Better than Sex mascara by Too Faced, and after reading the reviews I decided I’d give this very affordable mascara a try, and so glad I did. If you’re on the edge buy it and I’m sure you’ll fall in love too. I know I can just have false lashes installed, but I don’t want to damage my real lashes or have to refill and so on, but now I don’t have to. This mascara alone or with false lashes does amazing work for my makeup looks. I’m officially sold on a new mascara, after years of buying my old mascara.
Nice but. I really wanted to love this mascara. Seriously. And I did when I first put it on. The brush separated my lashes beautifully, applied just the right amount of mascara. Only needed a second coat on the outside edge lashes (they tend to curl down). Loved how it looked.Until the late afternoon when I looked in the mirror and GASP! I saw raccoon eyes. What is this? Maybe too much time staring at the computer? Too much blinking because I was staring at the computer too much? User error maybe?Second day tried again, made sure to use a bit more powder under my eyes. Did it help? Sadly no. By the late afternoon I had mascara under my eyes.Ok, one last try…. Saturday, no computer work, just errands and lunch. The disappointment I felt could not be described when I got home and saw the mascara under my eyes again.Sad to say but will not buy again. Back to the more expensive mascara.
Surprised. I wasn’t expecting much with how cheap this is but it’s good for the price! I am a mascara junkie, meaning I buy mascara just because I want it or it looks pretty. I have literally tried every mascara you can possibly think of and this one is probably in one of my top 10 for sure. I have only used it one time (16 hours of wear) and it didn’t cause ANY irritation whatsoever. Which is huge for me because of how long I wear my makeup. I can usually tell within the first 30 seconds of application if the mascara is going to be decent or not so take it from me when I say this stuff is great. I have naturally long lashes and this stuff made them look like I had fake lashes on for sure! I only left 4 stars because I thought this was waterproof. But that’s my own personal preference so I just put a coat of my favorite waterproof mascara over top of this and it lasted all day long! So if you’re hesitant on whether or not to buy it, just do it! I bought the black one first and now I’m going to try the brown one because I have issues. Also ladies, don’t forget to use that eyelash curler 😉
bought this on a lark. So I read this review, ( cant remember where right now), but it was some gorgeous actress that was saying this mascara makes you look like your wearing false eyelashes and I thought to myself, uh huh, sure. We’ll see about that. Anyway, the price was so good, in fact I think it was a 2 for 1 thing. Anyway, darned if it isn’t true. This mascara does make your eyelashes the longest ever. It makes you feel a lot prettier and your eyes really stand out alot!
Thick and Gorgeous. Ladies, this mascara makes your lashes look thick and beautiful with just a few strokes. One thing to remember: if it starts to stop doing its job, open a new tube. It lasts nice and long but eventually you do have to open another tube. It’s only $4.99 so no big deal. I buy this stuff on a regular basis, so I always have a spare tube. Try it before you spend $20.00 on some other stuff that isn’t half as good.
The only brand of mascara I will buy now. I always bought maybelline mascara, and it was always at least twice the price of this. Once I switched to this, I’ve never gone back and have repurchased multiple times. If it is very cold, this mascara can come out a little clumpy- all I do is run the tube under warm water if this happens and the clumps disappear. This mascara doesn’t flake off like others I’ve tried and really makes my lashes look so long. This washes off super easy. Sometimes I buy the waterproof version in the summer- it is very difficult to remove, but holds up well to rain, swimming, and sweat.
Good for the price. I’ve tried many different mascaras over the years and just feel like they are all basically the same. All promise to make your lashes longer, fuller, curlier. And in my opinion, that’s basically what all mascaras do. Its very hard to tell if one is any better than the other. But what I like about this one, is that it is affordable. I’ve purchased mascara from department stores that have cost way more and this one, and I feel this one works just as good as those high end brands. So, I wouldn’t say that this one is any better or worse than just going to the drug store and picking up a mascara there, but the price can’t be beat. I will also say that the wand is very nice. I like that it is tapered at the tip. That helps to get all the tiny lashes on the inside corner of your eye and the lower lash line and your lashes do appear to look longer. Again, nothing spectacular except for the price!

BEST MASCARA HANDS DOWN 👏👍. for somebody who doesn’t like having eyelashes messed with, this is the best mascara I’ve ever bought. I used to purchase the too faced “better than sex” mascara, but in comparison to quality and price, essence is hands down better in the long run.I had a period of using fake eyelashes bc my own wouldn’t have as much volume, and I was never really satisfied with results of other mascaras. I was stuck in a loop because I’d wear the eyelashes, but then I’d lose my eyelashes so I’d continue to wear them. I was weary on this mascara and I thought “this is too good to be true”, and I’m so glad that I made my first purchase because it’s exactly what I need to have the “false eyelash”. it’s not clumpy, it’s not tedious to remove, it gives me volume without going over the top, and it gives a very natural look. now if you’re somebody who tends to go to bed without washing it off first, the next day it will look different because of the mascara staying on overnight, even after washing your face. so my advice is to make sure you clean your face and eyes as much as you can, and then the next day, it’ll be easy to apply and just as you’d like it.I don’t tend to write reviews as often as I should, but this is the truest review you’ll ever read about the product. I’m not sure who discovered this brand of mascara and helped it grow to be so popular, but THANK YOU, YOU ARE A HERO!
Great surprise. I had no idea if I’d like this mascara and I don’t remember why I decided to give it a try, maybe the price. I’ve worn mascara every day of my life, except a handful of times, for 47 years!!!! I’ve tried many kinds of mascaras. Many! This one is amazing! It lengthened my lashes with 1-3 swipes of the wand! It even made my lower lashes more visible, much more than the other mascaras I use. It usually takes me several more swipes of different mascaras to get my lashes looking longer and fuller, so when I accomplished that in record (almost no) time, I stopped and realized this is different! It also leaves my lashes soft. I can swipe up with my fingers and it doesn’t feel like I have mascara on! I am ordering more today in case people spread the word and it sells out! Thank you to whoever makes this!!
Fabulous mascara but not smudge proof for me :(. Based on a copious amount of research and the many reviews of this mascara, I had high hopes that it would be the holy grail for me – someone who has yet to find one that doesn’t leave me with raccoon eyes – a problem I can’t seem to escape from no matter what I try. Not sure if it’s due to the fact that I have very straight lashes and/or the way my eyes are set, but every waterproof, smudge proof product I’ve tried has failed me.Given the price point on this and the fact that many reviewers said the waterproof version was hard to remove, I decided to first trythe standard voluminous and lengthening version since it is listed as smudge proof. I got the black/brown which was perfect for my hazel eyes. I was 100% amazed at how my lashes looked after applying it — have never, ever seen them look so fabulously long, lush and full in all my years of wearing makeup and I’m in my sixties. All I can say is WOW!I was able to go for about 6-8 hours with no smudging but after that it was all over. At the end of the day I took a look in the mirror and saw a raccoon (or maybe panda) looking back at me. Ugh I was so disappointed! I use a light, translucent setting powder on my under eyes to help prevent concealer creases (a challenge for older women) and mascara from smudging but even so had no luck. Now I’ll try the waterproof version and see how that goes. I took one star off for the smudging problem but would otherwise give this product five stars.
