More endurance? Maybe. Some people complain about this not giving them more “energy” and i agree, it doesn’t nor is it supposed to but it does seem to help performance when you push it and more specifically, endurance.I noticed no difference after the first week but I am on my second week at 4 a day and though I haven’t suddenly shattered All of my Strava PRs (mainly because it’s earlier in the season and I haven’t ridden with many Cat 2 or 3 racers so far) i definitely notice that pushes and bursts that would usually wear out my muscles, doesn’t. The biggest difference is the recovery from these bursts comes MUCH quicker…i also feel like I am doing the same speeds when I am looking at Strava but I am taking more pulls up front. So the speeds on paper are close to the same but the riders are drafting behind me, not the other way around.Only one effort so far at the gym felt easier but all of this is coming out of the winter where I wasn’t as active so I may just be getting back into shape.Ultimately it’s hard to tell but after 60 miles today, I felt like I could have done 100…my longest ever ride is 70…not because I can’t but just haven’t and I will admit now that I am home, I am most certainly still sore and exhausted…just wasn’t as sore on the bike. Also, not sure my top speed is any higher, but I still feel like I can hold that speed longer and without a drastic slow recovery right after. They say it may take 3-4 weeks for it to start working so if at 4 weeks I can continue to improve twice as much in two weeks, i will be sold. And it’s also been noted that these aren’t necessarily crazy, expensive or hard to come by ingredients. Most people know the B vitamins are good for cycling so would just buying b vitamins along with echinacea be just as effective?? That’s an experiment that is worth conducting as it is expensive.Perhaps I will update in two more weeks and see if perceived improvements advance.Update:Ok now that I have passed over the 4 weeks that it supposedly takes to take full effect, and that the weather/season has changed enough to allow some group rides with the racing teams, I do not feel this made me any faster or given me more endurance. As I mentioned, at week 2-3 I felt like it did up until the point where it didn’t and then even gives me this almost Bonked, dizzy, hungry feeling long after my rides… I mean, one could conclude that I feel this way because I am pushing myself harder and my body is responding to such a drastic work load but Strava and my speedometer would not conclude the same thing. Yes, throughout the winter my 40 mile rides were averaging around 18 mph and now I am closer to 19 mph but I have a couple months riding under me and as I said, started riding with the racing teams again and at the end of last year, before taking this stuff, I also had some 19-20 mph rides…Without feeling queasy. Not saying for sure the queasy is from this product for sure but I have only felt this way after being on it for 3+ weeks. They may be onto something with the Echinacia and other vitamins but I doubt this is actually increasing red blood cells and I definitely did not improve twice as much at 4-5 weeks over the 2 weeks where I thought I saw some endurance improvement…If anything, I think I went the opposite direction though my recoveries may still be a little quicker though again, that could just be from post-winter training increases.I do not think I will be trying another bottle. Will stop taking and see if the queasy feeling goes away with the harder efforts, if they do and I don’t lose any speed, this may do more harm than good. If I do slow down considerably, perhaps it would be worth giving one more shot but I doubt it.

  2. There is a noticeable effect but, it’s hard to quantify with a sample size of one. I ordered a sixty day supply of the product at the end of July 2016 and I’m now a little over halfway through having begun taking it on July 31st.In July I rode a total of 1,140km for a Training Stress Score (TSS) of 2,481 at an average Intensity Factor of 0.79. On July 30th, I had a Training Stress Balance of -1 and I rode a 20 minute time trial at an average power of 220W.In the six weeks or so since, I’ve ridden 1,388km for a TSS of 3,515 at an average IF of 0.84. This morning, September 20th, I rode the same time trial with a TSB of +15 at an average power of 231W.So, at first blush, that’s a 5% improvement. Also, in the product’s favor was the fact that it was about 5F warmer this morning (and cooler is better for me). However, on the other side, I’ve definitely backed off training for a variety of reasons over the last couple of weeks, so I’m less tired. That said, I also feel that I’m a week or so past my peak: I think I’d have gone better ten days or so ago. I also felt that I maybe tried a little harder today, although of course, this is entirely subjective. I also lost 1.9 kg during the period so my power to weight ratio went from 3.06W/kg to 3.3W/kg which is a 10% improvement. So, if I look at my data; I was definitely able to train at higher intensities in August than I was in July and, in the last week or so, I’ve been hitting season’s best numbers across the board. I’d expect this: I’ve got the training effect of the entire season in my legs and I’d expect to be fitter. The problem I’m having is that while a 5% improvement in power output is great it’s not really that dramatic. My reasoning is that I had a hip replacement a year ago having not been able to train for four years previously so I’m still feeling my way back into the sport and I’m kind of expecting a month-on-month improvement as I build muscle back up. Furthermore, I’m not sure how much of this I can ascribe to EPO-BOOST and how much is simply down to training harder and being better rested on the day of the test.Subjectively, I can say that I’ve felt pretty good while taking the product and think that it has helped me to manage a more intense training load and obviously, this has led to the improvement. However, I’m pretty certain that if I’d only taken the pill and not done the training, the numbers wouldn’t have changed. As the season’s now nearly over, I’m not going to buy any more over the winter but, I think I will start taking it again in April once I put the trainer away and start getting out on the road again. In conclusion, I’d say that the product does allow you to train harder/ more frequently but, it isn’t a magic pill. You won’t take it for a month and suddenly find you’ve increased your threshold power by 40%

  3. Without a doubt the product does what it says. I have noticed less fatigue during rides and recovery. Minimal soreness and more energy to push through hills and rides in general. I’m a believer and a definite return customer.

  4. I have used this for years off and on for me it works well

  5. Did not notice a change, plus they say the return policy is 90 days but when you check your order then is closed after 60 days.It may work after you consume maybe 90 days but then the investment is too high for the value when you check the ingredients amounts, nutritional value, etc
