Pump not working. I buy this facial sunscreen all the time. It seems my return time has elapsed. I bought it a month or so ago and just now opened it because I still had some in my old pump bottle. It is not dispensing the sunscreen. How do I get a replacement. It said my return time elapsed on July 7 which is five days ago. I like to have it on hand so I don’t run out. I need a replacement!Update- I watched a video on YouTube on how to make the pump work. Very simple. you take a needle or paper clip and insert in tiny hole at bottom of bottle. you push it in and it slides some thing up inside. It works! This is the only facial sunscreen that I’ve used regularly. I had no issue with the sunscreen itself just the fact that the pump part wasn’t working. Works fine now.
Good but…. I have been using this sunscreen for weeks. Overall, it’s a good sunscreen and it doesn’t break me out. I have hormonal acne and I feel like this helps with my breakouts. However, it takes hours for it to sink into my skin. I’m very shiny afterwards and my skin feels sticky. I’ve tried using a lighter moisturizer but I will still be very shiny and sticky for hours. Great under makeup though! I usually have to use a setting powder to less the shine and stickiness which is a lot to do for days where I don’t want to wear any makeup.
Nice natural tint. I heard about this tinted sunscreen on a podcast recently. I was using an inexpensive, non clean tinted spf which worked, except I really wanted a clean product. This fits the bill. More expensive than the old one but for me, worth the money. I wear it every day and it goes on smoothly, gives a nice natural tint to my skin and has 40 spf. Very pleased with it.
Great skincare product. I’ve tried samples of EltaMD moisturizers from my dermatologist and really love the quality of the products. My skin tone is fair, sensitive, and normal/combination. This tinted moisturizer blends incredibly well to my skin tone, feels clean, and moisturizes without making me extra shiny or greasy, plus SPF! Great everyday product with/without makeup or other moisturizers. Highly recommend
great zinc oxide tinted sunscreen protection. I’ve used this product before and find it so easy to apply a thin layer and there is not a white tint to it even though it is zinc oxide. I prefer zinc oxide as it is a safe sunscreen compared to chemical sunscreens. It is also paraben free. It’s slight tint is attractive and sometimes I use it without foundation.
A daily must. We live in the desert, SPF is a must. I love Elta for its ease of use as well as daily protection. Easy to travel with. the container is an appropriate size. The price point could be a little better, it seems to keep creeping up. This does last a long time, for me using it every day I only buy it twice a year. And I buy both the tint and the clear. I will say I love the clear a bit more. Sometimes if you sweat or don’t rub it in well enough you will see a hint of the tint on your face or outline along the hairline. Although the color tint seems to blend nicely with most skin types. If I had to choose one I would choose the untinted. the tinted is nice for those makeup-free days. Having both on hand has been nice! My teenagers now use this as well. It does not cause any reactions to their face or clog any pores. It helps protect them from the sun nicely.
Loved this.. but the Finish recently changed : /. I have been using Elta for years in place of foundation sunscreen. I love the light weight ..don’t even feel like you have some thing on your face feeling! The last time I purchased it, it left a heavy powdery finish on my face and I can’t stand it. If I wanted that feeling on my face, I would just wear make up. Don’t know what happened? Did they change the formula or was the last one a fake? I stopped my save and subscribe. Anyone else notice this ?
Doesn’t break me out. I love this product! I haven’t been able to find a sunscreen that doesn’t break me out until now. It’s a very nice moisturizer that isn’t greasy. The tint is very subtle so I mainly use it and my main daily sunscreen.
EltaMD UV Daily Tinted Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide. My absolute favorite sunscreen. Ive been using for years. It was recommended by my dermatologist. Love the light tint of color it gives.
Covers without emphasizing wrinkles. I have been using the tinted version of this product ever since i reached a certain age and even the lightest foundation emphasized wrinkles. Even make-up experts are amazed at the light texture and good coverage. Would not give this one up!
Holy grail product. I’m on my 13th bottle, waiting for #14- I use this as the last step in my AM routine daily! SPF coverage is great, the product is very light and won’t weigh you down. I find that one full pump (it’s an airless) is the perfect amount for my whole face and neck. Wears under makeup nicely (although I wear light makeup, and gravitate towards creams over powders). I’ve been on vacation and forgotten my Elta MD, and gone out of my way to find a replacement bottle on the go. It’s pricey, but I find that using one pump daily I get just close to 3 months out of each bottle. Since it’s an airless pump, you can’t tell how much product there is left, but I’ve never found myself on the last pump without my next bottle already at the house (subscribe and save for the win!) Not a product you’ll regret purchasing!
Love this product. This is by far my favorite sunscreen. I’ve tried several others, but I feel like this one goes on best and is great with my makeup being put over it. My skin is more on the dryer side, so I like the extra layer of moisture and it blends into my skin very well. Not sure how it would respond if you had oily skin. The spot of tint in it is great too, it’s like a natural cover-up, just from the sunscreen! Not to mention it’s packed with other great ingredients for your skin. It’s a win-win!
Non greasy and not very heavy sunscreen. My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen and have been using this product since a year. Feels light on applying and does not look awkward like most other sunscreens.
SPF but make it make up. I love using this product in the winter. I wear sun screen year round but this one in particular during the winter because of the tint. It helps put just the right amount of color on my face. I am not someone who wears make up so this is always a great base layer. I don’t think it is very moisturizing but I always wear a serum or something underneath so I don’t have to worry about it. A little goes a long way. It’s not the cheapest product so it’s good that a small pump can cover my whole face.
Lightweight, not oily and great for sensitive skin. I have to been super picky about what sunscreen I put on my face cause I easily get dermatitis with most sunscreens. This one is super lightweight, not oily but not drying either, doesn’t crease in fine lines. The tinted sunscreen is very natural and not super tinted so blends in well with most skin colors.
Dermatologist recommended. I noticed I was having a lot of discoloration on my face and my dermatologist said it was due to sun damage. She recommended this moisturizer/spf. I generally don’t like sunscreen on my face because it always feels oily and smells like tanning oil! This one is great, though. Nice coverage, not too think, great tint.Will definitely continue purchasing this!
The best face sunscreen. I love how lightweight this feels on my skin while still protecting me from the sun. It’s a great price and I love that it also gives light makeup coverage as well.
A new me. This is a combination of sunscreen and light tint. Looks fine on my fair skin. Easy to squirt a little out and smooth it on face and back of hands. There is sun in Seattle!
Good tinted sunscreen and moisturizer. I got this recommended by my dermatologist. I really liked it but the pump stopped working only after a few uses. Not sure why. It would be great if I could get it the product out of the bottle.

Nice light tinted sunscreen for everyday use. I bought this roughly a couple months back just on a whim from tiktok reviews and my own research from trying to find a good overall sunscreen for my face. I worry about my beauty marks and skin cancer as my family all struggles with it. I thought, whats the harm in trying this one once. If it ain’t work then I can always go back to a regular brand no tint. Used it a couple times and noticed it gave me a dewy look like I was wearing a natural foundation. Dried after a couple minutes and settled into my skin. After a couple weeks, I noticed my face just looked better and sun marks were receding. I try to remind myself to put some on in the mornings before going out…but old habits. But, I have consistently gone back after a short week and reached back in for this tried and true formula. My sun spots always go back and I feel better mentally that I’m avidly helping fight skin cancer. It also helps just give an overall dewy look. I actually was running late for my reception and didn’t have time for a full face of makeup so I slapped a primer on and this tinted sunscreen. My photos look so good and dewy. I look natural face but in a good way. My beauty marks and sun spots weren’t noticeable. I will say, I wish it was a bit more sweat proof. As I love going to the gym and sweat will make it run off. But, I can always just carry it with me and touch up in the car. Also it works great with makeup either as a light natural foundation or layering. My photos from my engagement pictures look great as I layer it with a foundation. Gave me a flawless finish and afterwards just helped my skin as I get a bit dry sometimes from normal foundation. I’m finally buying a new bottle after months. It goes along way if used wisely. So I don’t feel bad how much it is. Definitely worth it.

Best Tinted Moisturizer/Sunscreen. I have been using this product for years. I often use it as my only daily makeup for the day as it leaves the face with just enough tint you can skip the rest. It is light. Doesn’t feel cakey or oily. I have sensitive skin and have issues with a lot of products for the face. This is one I never skip. Recommended to me by my dermatologist.
