It writes in different colors but could use to be a little more durable. The pen writes pretty well in different colors. However most of them did not survive living in a backpack for longer than a month. Also, you run out of ink much quicker than you do with regular pens. The way you switch pen colors is a little confusing and it often jams, but maybe I am not using it properly. I purchased these mostly for writing flash cards and for my kid to use for their notes. I haven’t heard any complaints from them about them, however they didn’t ask me to purchase more to replace them nor have I seen them using them as of late.I do recommend them as a cute gift/reward for kids of either gender if you are a teacher or a cool and inexpensive party favor for birthdays.
Nostalgia. These were perfect for some Easter baskets this year. We have childrenranging from 4 to 19 in our immediate family. These were a big hit with every child. I tested each one when they arrived and every pen worked great. There was one blue pen that needed some extra swirls on the paper with a few choice words but started producing ink in the end. I would buy again if I ever needed more.

Break Easily. I bought these for work for me and some coworkers and while we love them, the hard clear plastic broke super easily. As nurses, everything gets pretty banged up so I didn’t expect this pen to last super long but definitely expected it to last longer than it did.

The youth loved these. I got these as back to school prizes for youth group and they loved them.
Love these. Easy to use, decent quality. Exactly what I was looking for.
Fun for Kids. The children at the birthday party loved these in their party favor bags! They are a little flimsy.
Poor quality pens. First; runs out of ink much too quickly. The pen ink is barely legible and the pen scratches more than it writes. Please, check out the alternatives. I’d never purchase this brand again.
Perfect for note taking. Just what we were looking for to organize my daughter’s notes for school. One of the pens arrived broken but the others seem to work.
