  1. Cleans like magic. Despite the great reviews for this product and the hyping on social media, I wasn’t expecting much. But my mind is blown at well this soap works. I have tried all kinds of soap (Beauty Blender soap, Ivory bar soap, MAC brush cleaner, Dawn dish soap, etc). I am very thorough but could never get my sponges or brushes completely clean. But a little soak in a small bowl with this Eco soap, and the makeup comes right out. A little rubbing and squeezing is all it takes. I’m a convert. Will be repurchasing!

  2. This stuff is awesome. I had been using liquid soap and water to clean my brushes and sponges and not having much luck in getting them really clean. After one use of this product I noticed a marked difference. My white bristles were white again! I honestly can’t tell for sure about the sponges as they are colored, but I am going to assume they are cleaner because of the differences in my brushes. Easy to use: wet, shampoo, rinse and lay flat to dry.

  3. Works kind of. I washed my makeup brush that has been used on CC cream. I washed x3 with this shampoo, and I see some original color of the brush showing on the edges but not entirely. Brush feels soft and not clumped together. But when I brush the dried brush on tissue, I can still see lightly some foundation on it so the shampoo couldn’t remove completely all even with 3 washes. This is my first time using a designated shampoo to clean my makeup brush, so compared to using normal hand soap, it’s much effective. I don’t know if this shampoo is better than others but it kinda works.

Brush cleaner. Was looking for a brush cleaner that didn’t have a smell and this o e is great. No smell and my brushes come out looks like new.

  5. Worked better than expected. I saw this recommended somewhere on social media so I was skeptical that it would live up to the hype. It worked really well and fully removed the make up from my sponges and brushes. Very happy with this purchase.

  6. Ok, wow…impressed. I originally had one that I bought at the local beauty store and it really didn’t work that well, like it took forever to get the brush clean. After reading all the reviews on this, I bought it, and I was not disappointed. This stuff is amazing! It got my brush completely clean, where the other one I had did not get all the make up out of it. This product is a must for people who use liquid foundation or blush.

  7. It works. Nothing else has cleaned my brushes as well. I’ve used makeup remover and Dawn and that did almost nothing. This takes a small amount and a bit of soaking. Also, soaked my Erase your Face cloths in this to help remove the waterproof mascara that just washing leaves behind. One bottle should last me a while.

  8. Decent for the price; better for sponges than brushes. I think this product has a very good price point, and obviously I like that it doesn’t smell like chemicals as many brush cleaners do. It cleaned my brushes pretty well — it didn’t get all of the old stains out, but it did a good job. I wouldn’t use this on very high quality, expensive brushes, mostly because of how you need to use it. You have to be a little more rough with the bristles than you would using a more high end makeup brush cleaner. You also kinda end up getting the whole brush wet, and in order to preserve your brushes, it’s best to try to only get the bristles wet and not the place where it connects to the handle. That being said, I don’t have any high end brushes. Mine are mostly e.l.f. with an occasional amazon brush here and there. So I don’t mind using this stuff. I especially like it on sponges. I used it to clean my very dirty maybelline fit me pressed powder sponge and it is now almost completely white. I also purchase inexpensive beauty blender-like sponges in 6-packs on amazon, and this cleaned those well too. Make sure you squeeze a lot with those; you’ll get a ton of dirty water to come out :).I like this and will purchase again for just regular drugstore makeup brush use. If I ever invest in a nice professional set of brushes though, I’m going to look for something else.

  11. Soap to wash all makeup brushes + beauty blenders. I tried this soap for the first time, paired with a makeup brush cleansing pad and it was great! The soap is non-scented and clear. I feel like it really helped to deep clean my makeup brushes and beauty blenders as you could see all the powder and old foundation/concealer coming off.

  12. Cleanliness. This product works very very well . It leave my brushes looking brand new , I will always purchase this product 🙂

  13. Great Cleaner. This worked really well to clean my makeup brushes. I use these 2 daily so they need regular cleaning. The soap was easy to apply, lathered some, and got lots of makeup out. I wet the brushes and added soap. I added the soap a few times and alternated which brush I cleaned while the other brush sat with soap on it. This worked well and only took a few minutes.

  14. Best cleanser for beauty sponges. This is a miracle product – no joke. I am the kind of person who likes to use beauty sponges for blending makeup – but they are a pain to clean . This works like magic – and cleans perfectly. Also great for makeup brushes – but its perfect for quick and easy cleaning of beauty sponges

  15. Works great. Bought these for my makeup brushes and this soap gets everything out. It’s really great to keep your brushes clean and in working condition. I actually bought some brushes from this brand and was impressed by the quality for the price. Highly recommend this soap and I suggest you check out their other products as well.

  17. Works really well. I have rosacea, so I use mineral powder. I have two general makeup brushes that I use basically every day. It was a pain to wash them out. I was using my old herbal essence shampoo to clean them, but it always irritated my face and didn’t really get the powder out very well. This shampoo does the trick. A little goes a long way, and it washes away the gunk quickly. It doesn’t leave behind any scent at all and my brushes feel almost new. I just wet them, add a small drizzle of this shampoo, and then agitate the bristles with my fingers. I rinse them well, squeeze the excess with a clean washcloth, finger fluff them and put them back in their jar. They’re dry by the next day. I’m really happy that I found this stuff. It makes washing my brushes feel simple, whereas before it was such a chore. I hope they keep making this stuff for quite a while.

  20. Keeps My Brushes Super Clean. Great makeup brush cleaner. I love that it’s fragrance free! Works very well. Definitely recommend if you don’t want fragrances all over your delicate brushes.

  21. Best Makeup Brush Shampoo. When I tried to cut corners and just use Dawn dish soap, sure, it cleaned them a bit, but nothing like this shampoo does! I get loads and loads more makeup out of my brushes and sponges with this shampoo than I do with Dawn. I love that a very little bit goes a long way and how it makes my brushes look and feel brand new. This is also the only makeup brush shampoo that I’ve ever used…I haven’t a reason to try another! I highly recommend!

  22. Great way to clean make – up brushes & sponges. I’ve been using the ecotools make-up cleaner for many years. Not only does it do a great job cleaning, but also keeps my brushes & and sponges in great shape longer than without that product. I’ll continue to use this because it’s priced right & and works well.

  23. Amazing. I’ve used a lot of brush cleaners. My favorite was the IT COSMETICS cleaner but it was getting expensive.. like really costly to buy it and it didn’t last very long. I found this on Amazon and I have to say it is amazing. It works really well. It gets all of my old makeup out of my brushes and they feel very clean. You can’t beat the prize. I highly recommend this product.
