Perfect primer but the pump is HORRIBLE. The media could not be loaded.  POSITIVES:The primer corrects my pores, my imperfections like discoloration, leaves my skin super soft and luminous without looking sparkly or greasy. It really is the perfect primer (so far). I can count on it to leave it a perfect canvas so that makeup doesn’t pill up and glides on without tugging and it lasts. It adds a layer of moisture without being heavy. It is so soothing and like my skin actually craves it.I have seen previous complaints when people used this on a clean face with no other skincare products. One must prepare their face with those products or this won’t spread correctly, you may need to use too much because it is being absorbed when your face needs the moisture, it may feel greasy because it is just sitting on top of your skin because there is nothing in between, or your skin is patchy from not being taken care of properly. It does feel slightly slick especially at first but then it dries and feels soft. To me that was a big draw because makeup didn’t settle in uneven places or get thick or pill or ball up because the area wasn’t being dried out. I didn’t feel like I was wearing paste or clay. It is extremely light. It gave me a healthy glow like I was lit within with no sparkle or dewy shine that can be bad for acne prone or oily skin. This is perfect for skin with issues. It helps my concealer go on without getting thick or cakey around the under eye folds and small creases. When makeup gathers in creases, even tiny ones, it just emphasizes them and makes them stand out. This helps everything blend in so they are not noticeable. If I’m having a puffy eye day or dark circles, this helps bring that down and calm the area. I also like to wear it with my skincare without foundation or powder and just a little concealer because it really is that good. The other products I’ve used and the order I use them in matters.I have super sensitive allergy prone skin that likes to react and turn red or get hives so this is one that I have not reacted to and if I’m already in a reaction it helps tone it down and soothe my skin.NEGATIVES:Now, for the bad part. Nobody likes pointing out the bad things, at least I don’t but I wanted to let people know a few things. The pump dispenser is HORRIBLE!! Like, almost non-existent, it is that bad!! Please see my video. It has a very short little nub that is supposed to pump out all the product down to the bottom of the jar. It used to be the packaging was misleading and it was not filled all the way down and had a wider chamber inside. People had complained on here that it didn’t fill the container so maybe the company found out and listened. That little nub tube still didn’t reach all the product even when it was a shorter chamber and they didn’t correct the issue with it.Now they have the tube of product go all the way down (much skinnier inner chamber of product than the outside package would have you believe) but there is no way to get it out after the first 2 or 3 uses without jamming a q-tip down in it because there is no tube connected to the pump to go down in there to retrieve the product. It is such an easy fix and they have had the same pump for ages now.I’d think with the complaints sprinkled in about it on here that they have had over the years they would have upgraded it by now. My guess is they have not gotten enough complaints directly to their company and people aren’t checking the packaging to find out what is really going on. I think people are just replacing it without realizing there is a bunch of product they can’t get out and not paying attention how long it’s been since the last time they ordered, or just switching to something else altogether out of frustration.I’m only knocking down a couple stars because the pump is such a complete fail. They would do much better putting it in a squeezable tube. We could actually get the product out, it would be cleaner than a pot, and we could see how much product we have left. Great Product at a Great Price. I love this product. It goes on softly and feels light. It really hydrates my skin and is one of the best primers I have ever used. It is affordable and for me has been much more effective than the higher-priced primers in department stores that I was buying. Great price. I will continue with this primer. It works for me so no need to keep looking for something better.

Light on your face. This was the first time trying this brand. This moisturizer primer is so light on your face, you can’t tell it’s there at all. It made my face feel like silk and made my foundation go on so much more smooth.

Works great, at such a low price. This primer makes my face so smooth and perfect for applying my CC cream. I wish I found it sooner; I’ve been spending too much on higher end primers and this works just as well! Love Elf products!

IT DOES WHAT IT SHOULD. I’m an older women and even though my complexion is not too bad, I do have many fine lines above my upper lip and also lines below my lower lip, even though I have never smoked. I guess you get lines wherever time and age wants them. The photo is just with the primer on a bare face and no foundation. I think it does minimize the lines well. You can’t expect miracles from any product. You would need to get face lifts and/or go to etheticians for better results.So far, I’m satisfied with the results.The smell is just eucalyptus which is good for your complexion. It dissipates very quickly.On the negative side, it contains a very small amount, nothing compared to the size of the jar. It states that it contains .47 ounces which is almost 1/2 oz. It’s not true. It has about 1/8 to 1/4 oz. approximately. But, you only need to use very little mostly where you have lines or pores. For the price, compared to other very expensive products that do the same exact thing, I have to say that I’m satisfied.

Smooth coverage and no irritation. My daughter recommended this product for me. I’m 59 years old, a Leukemia Survivor, and I’ve been struggling to find a product that would smooth out my skin without irritating. I have large pores, scars, and fine lines. I purchased this partly because of the price. I didn’t have high expectations but it wasn’t expensive so why not?I am not disappointed! I applied my moisturizer, the this product. It went on like silk! Invisible and not tacky or oily. My face felt so smooth! Instead of foundation, I just went with powder blush, a light eyeshadow, and a finishing powder, ELF loose powder. My skin looked smooth, even, and no pores! This is the best product I’ve tried! It’s not heavy, stays fresh looking all day, doesn’t transfer to my clothes, no runs from perspiration, and no irritating watery eyes! I will definitely add this to my monthly subscription!

Creates an extremely smooth and silky surface. What a difference it makes. Creates a silky smooth surface for my foundation. It is amazing. I love this product. Does what it says it will do.
