I make a base of brown rice, boiled carrots, and 1% fat plain yogurt. Once in a while, I substituteorzo pasta for the brown rice. Some dogs are lactose intolerant, and yogurt may cause flatulence or the d-word. So watch that… My dog does well with yogurt.My dog is “regular” with number 2, you can set your watch to her bowel movements with this diet.She makes orange-colored poops. (carrots and beta-carotene)I sprinkle one spoonful of this product for her in the morning, 2x scoop of D-Mannose, 2x cranberry extract, and VetriScience Vetri Mega Probiotic and Prebiotic 1x capsule daily.Funny thing: the D-Mannose sweetens the cranberry extract and I stir these into the yogurt.Yummy! About a year ago he stopped jumping on the couch due to arthritis. 2 days after giving himyour product he was jumping up on the couch! I’m not making this up. I was amazed!! I was giving him Metacam, prescribed by our vet for pain management. now he rarely needs it. This stuff is the best. I will be buying it from now on. His quality of life has improved so. I just wish I had found it sooner!Note. I stated him on half the dose prescribed on the label and in a week worked up to what’s prescribed on the label.Thank you for a great product!
Powder vs. Pills/Chews. It was way too fine of powder, got everywhere at the slightest upset. Gave my dogs diarrhea with the SUGGESTED amount so I had to back it off a bit. Otherwise, worked well incorporated into food.
My 15 year old yorkie will not even eat food unless this is there. I have 11 dogs. 7 of which get this added to their food daily. 4 are due to age and the other 3 are due to congenital issues. They all seem to get around better and the love thier food more than ever now. My 15 year old yorkie was not originally getting this as she is on other meds and vitamins but she got a taste of it once and now literally will not touch her food unless this powder is in her food. We usually give her canned food mixed with her food and she doesnt even need it anymore
Great product. My dog have loved it, her fur is soft and shiny, her shedding has decreased a lot, she still scratches but a lot less
