Fantastic, this paid for itself in half an hour. I have an older, disabled long haired cat who struggles with grooming and gets horribly matted every spring. I have tried keeping her brushed to no avail, and eventually the mats get so large and tight to her skin that scissors are not a possibility. Last spring, I took her to the vet, the only place locally that will do cat grooming. They gave her a lion shave, but only after multiple appointments since they required her to have a full check up and all of her shots updated first. I also had to get up super early that day to give her pills to sedate her, and they gave her anesthesia when she arrived, which was nerve wracking. All that for a haircut, and the grooming appointment alone cost $300. This spring, I decided to give DIY a try. I was nervous that she wouldn’t let me since the vet made such a big deal about sedation, but surprisingly, she LOVED IT! Within a half hour of this shaver arriving at my house, all of her mats were gone. Granted, she is deaf so she couldn’t hear the noise anyway, but this shaver is very quiet and gentle. I thought the vibration might freak her out, but she purred the whole time. It must have been like a massage! 😂 She did have enough of it after a couple minutes, but most of it was done by then and the rest I could get one at a time with breaks in between.I had also been worried about it nicking her because I have used electric shavers myself and they are often not very gentle, but this is one of the best I have tried. No nicks, no pain. I shaved straight down her body with the grain of the hair and it cut through all that fluff like butter.This cost about $35 as opposed to $300, and no need for anesthesia. Now, we can address any future mats in minutes with no trouble. I admit that my lion shave doesn’t look as good as the vet’s did, but we’ll work on it. 😅 The shaver works great, any errors are my own!

Best pet razor I’ve ever used. This is so quiet and small it made grooming my cats 3x easier. I was able to get much more done in one sitting than ever before using other razors or scissors. Highly recommend!

Best small cordless clipper for the money. These clippers are small and compact but perform like a standard size clipper. The shave is smooth and the performance of this clipper is very impressive. The battery life is long after it is fully charged. It comes with attachments that are easy to use. I work in an animal hospital and this is our #1 go to clipper. Being a cordless clipper makes them a favorite! We have them in a couple different colors in each exam room. I highly recommend!

Great for beginners. The media could not be loaded. This was my first time ever cutting any dog’s hair. My fur baby started to get some matting deep into his coat on his collar area and sides of his stomach that I couldn’t brush out. This happened once last year and we had to start him over at the groomer but his little butt is expensive for a haircut so I figured I’d try myself this time. I was worried about cutting him but the guards made me feel comfortable and even taking the guard off for certain areas, I did not cut him. I was able to find a good groove to really work the razor and get through the hair. I’m no pro but I feel that once I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. I did this in two days – tested it the night it arrived and shaved hair off of the battery until it died. The next day I charged it completely and the day after that I finished his cut and the battery lasted the whole time and still has battery. Probably took me an hour total between both days to get him shaped up. He was questioning the device at first but quickly got used to it and even started falling asleep at some point during his cut. So the noise level and vibration must have been soothing. So glad I ordered this and would recommend! The guards are easy to change out and it’s simple as one switch. Great beginner clipper or quick cut clipper.

Wow! They WORK. Many years ago, I spent $100+ on more “professional” Oster pet hair clippers. I can’t believe these affordable clippers work BETTER than the big name brand.We recently adopted an obese cat who had terrible matting down both her sides. The matts were down to her skin and almost like the hair was glued into hard clumps. Over the course of an hour and a half, I slowly clipped away all the matts!The clippers never nicked her and are pretty quiet (might still spook a more skittish cat). I had to figure out a technique that worked for us (I would brush around her face as I clipped her). I got faster once I practiced and went along. As you can see, I got a LOT off. She now looks like an edgy punk! I can tell she’s so much more comfortable, having all those lumps removed. I also did a sanitary trim around her hind end.My sister mentioned that her vet tech friend uses the same brand clippers at their vet clinic. They charge fast and are small and nimble.Even if these clippers don’t last forever, I already got my money’s worth and I would buy the same ones again and again!

Bought after I seen vet use. Works great for cats. Very low hum sound and comes with guards if needed. Easy to charge. I help off on review for long time until I used a couple of times. This does work and I recommend. Small size to get in their quick and remove bunched hair. I assume works great on dogs since I use on my skittish cat. So easy to clean, just run under water. I like to spray alcohol then oil cleaner. Charges really quick and holds charge too well.

Affordable. Works well & quieter than larger clippers. Good value for the money, we use at a vet clinic for shaving for IV catheters, quick trims on face & small matted clumps. Attachments not that useful, pop off too easily. Long lasting for cost.

YES! YES! YES! DO IT. First, this is my best buddy in the whole wide world and I love him very dearly and it is mutual until it comes to grooming certain areas unless my little stage 5 is in the bath. I had a brilliant idea and found this brilliant product. It arrived this week and I gave it a test run tonight. He got a bath tonight and for the first time EVER, allowed me to clipper around his eyes and snout. I have only been able to use scissors and I can only get so close with those. He was surprisingly comfortable with this. He did not growl or try to bite me. He does not nibble, he draws blood and he will not let you take his squirrel either. This made me more comfortable as well with home grooming him. The noise level is comparable to a bikini trimmer. The attachments are beautifully made. Love that they are dual ended. Less pieces that I have to try not to lose and less storage. Love how compact and lightweight this clipper set is. My favorite thing is the interchangeable clipper heads. I will be selling all of his old grooming equipment. Charging seemed fairly quick, but it did have a little charge on it when I got it. Once I can get him comfy enough to shave in the bath, that’s where he is going to be shaved. I have a very heavy duty hair catcher and this was the easiest cleanup as well. I wasn’t covered in dog hair and none of my furniture is either. Tonight was a bath and leave in detangler with eyes being trimmed up. I have to work in batches with him and have let his winter coat grow so he’s not too cold. Tomorrow, he will be fully shaved and touched up on his face so it isn’t so choppy. He isn’t super long and too matted and I trust that this clipper set will be able to handle his winter coat. I just have to wait for the bestie to come over and hold him for me. He is a two person job when it comes to shaving him. He was kicked out of the groomer because he is feisty. I would recommend this clipper set in a heartbeat. What little I used it today, it worked great. Great way to minimize clutter and this is just an all around brilliant design. So many positive reasons to give it a try.
