I would buy these again. These are great for highlighting bible verses. When you first use it, it feels a little chalky. But after a couple minutes, you can’t see or feel any chalkiness. Every single color is thin enough that you can see the words clearly after highlighting a verse. I love that I dont have to sharpen these either. Just twist the top and the base and more of the highlighter will come out. I highly recommend these over actual bible highlighters which sometimes almost bleed through the page, these definitley dont! I will be purchasing again (maybe different colors) when mine get low.
Eh. Not atall what I thought they would be but that’s probably my fault if anything they are crayons tho pretty messy its a wax texture and its also sucks as a highlighter it chunks up and you cant see the letters through the wax unless you smudge it it also stains ur fingers
Awesome product. I guess I didn’t read the complete description before buying, because I thought they were normal (wet ink) highlighters. I got them, and was PLEASANTLY surprised! They are like a crayon consistency, but without the mess or gunk of an actual crayon, it’s very clean. I had never thought about using that type of highlighter before but it is so much better than wet ink! There is no bleed-through and the colors are gorgeous! I will definitely be a returning customer!I’ll come back to edit pictures of what the text looks like after using the pen.
The best. I am 2 years in on a Masters degree and have used several different kinds of highlighters in my quest for perfect ones for me. And these are the ones! I am so glad I found these light-colored “pens” – they are perfect and this is my second order. I like all of the colors, so none of them are wasted. Thank you, DiverseBee!!
Not like normal highlighters. It’s not that they do not work I was just expecting more of a normal highlighter type of material. I still love them!
Not what I expected at first…but now I love them. I have never seen a highlighter like this. When I first used my moms highlighter I wasn’t sure I liked them. But after working with it for a few minutes, I fell in love! I will never go back and rushed to amazon to buy some for myself. They are more like oil pastels. There are several things I love. First, those horrible twice highlighted triangles or lines you get, no more! Second, no bleeding over or weird rippling from the highlighter ink! It is so much fun to work with. if the letters are a little obscured because you put it on too heavy, just wipe it a bit with your finger and presto! Perfect! Very happy with the product. My only complaint would be the cap does not fit on the back while you work with the pen, so you have to have somewhere to put it down. Maybe someday they will fix that. And the blue in the pastel set is a little light. Otherwise top notch and happy to have them!
Yes and No. These were not what I expected. I thought I’d be getting chisel-tip Bible highlighters… which is what I normally use… but these are the other kind that are like crayons and waxy. I was very disappointed because the colors are fantastic. I bought two different sets. I considered sending them back to Amazon but didn’t because I like using these for art. I don’t like them for the Bible because it is hard to have precision like with a regular ink highlighter. But I sometimes draw in a sketchbook while listening to sermons and these lovely colors are perfect for that. I’m keeping them! I discovered that the company that makes these also sells the other kind of highlighter that I prefer for marking things in my Bible.I saw another review saying these are greasy. I wouldn’t call them that. They certainly don’t leak anything greasy into the pages of the Bible. They are waxy… and that’s something different. They don’t bleed through the paper in a Bible at all. I did experiment with them on a few Bible pages but they aren’t what I’ll be normally using there.I know some people prefer these waxy gel pens… well, more power to them. I might use them in my Bible art journaling Bible, but not in my study Bible.
Perfect for Bible. I thought long and hard which ones to get for my Bible, these “crayons” or the actual highlighters from this company. I ended up getting both and glad I did.l (pastel in both types). Theses “crayons” are absolutely perfect for the Bible, they are perfect shades not to overwhelm the text and not to be annoying, but give enough and distinct highlight that you can’t miss. And they do not leak through!!! Absolutely perfect! I will take the highlighters to work because I love the colors and was looking for something less annoying than the standard issue highlighters, and those are perfect for what I was looking for.
Best highlighters ever. I use these for my Bible studying I love how they don’t bleed through my pages, they are extremely smooth like a crayon almost but it’s a highlighter definitely recommend. It’s worth the purchase. The brightness depends on the shade you get. They are very easy to use they feel comfortable when you write with them. The durability is great they don’t need to be pressed down hard. They do roll so over time you end up using the whole thing. There’s no need to press them hard they write smoother than a highlighter. Definitely going to go back and get the other shades 10/10 recommend ! It has so many pretty colors and a lot of highlight for you to use.
Wax Highlighter. This was my first time buying this type of highlighter. I like to wait a while before reviewing a product, so for perspective, I bought these in 2021 and am reviewing them in 2023. These do exactly what they say on the tin. I can’t say that I use these every day because they’re not really made for everyday life. I strongly prefer using these when highlighting in a book or on thinner paper due to them being wax, but still prefer a regular felt-tip for other documents. I’m never worried they’ll bleed, transfer, or damage a document. It’s almost like using a sheer crayon. Strongly recommend when dealing with delicate paper.

Would absolutely purchase again. These are fantastic. The colors are lovely, they write smoothly, and they do not show through paper or smudge at all. They definitely do what they are advertised to do and I would purchase them again.The only issue I have with them is the awkward tip shape. They are a bit like a crayon where they aren’t great with drawing completely straight, predictable lines. I don’t mind this too much and find that I can get a pretty decent line after the tip has flattened out a bit. That said, I wish it were a little easier to create consistently straight lines. I don’t know that it’s even possible to do with these, at least no more than any other twist-up crayon would be, but maybe someone will come up with something someday. For now, these are still great and I have no other complaints. Highly recommend these, especially for highlighting bibles and sheet music. The subtle colors are a lot easier on the eyes than your standard bold, neon highlighter shades.
Also great on thicker, fiction book paper. I’ve been eyeing these highlighters for months and finally took the plunge when they had a good deal. I’m so glad that I did and only wish I’d purchased them sooner!I did not buy them to use in a Bible, so this review will give additional information about their readability, appearance, brightness and performance. All of which, are five stars for me.I purchased the two packs pictured- pastel on left, dusty on right.As you can see second picture, pastel is the top grouping, dusting is bottom.The book I used is a traditional mass market paperback.The colors are wonderful, varied, and highly visible.My FAVORITE part is the consistency/texture of the gel highlighter. It moves over the page w such ease!I had no problems w transfer once down andthere’s also no shadowing or ghosting on the other side of the page.Lastly, they twist up like an eyeshadow pencil which I appreciate bc who wants to deal w a sharpener?All and all, not only would I recommend this purchase, I plan on making it again as soon as I need to refill my stock.Great product!
Amazing! Great colors, no bleed-through, no odor, no flaking. Super smooth; preferred option to Sharpie brand gel highlighters. No bleed-through noted on variety of paper/texts (great, even with velum or bible pages). No smearing. Can underline or highlight with smooth results. Variety of color choices; arrives in clear plastic sleeve packet. Value for price.

Great highlighters for marking my scriptures. I love how pastel and light these highlighters are for marking my scriptures. I have never liked bright, overbearing highlighters so these are perfect and they don’t smear which I can appreciate as a left-handed person! I always have problems with things smearing! But these are perfect and super easy to use.
Excellent product, excellent experience. These highlighters are great and really are no bleed. They are not like a regular marker highlighter. I would compare them to a soft colored pencil. Color doesn’t transfer onto fingers and does not smudge. Arrived on time and as expected.

Colorful and quality items. These highlighters are quality items. I bought them to use in regular books, not a bible, so I’m not sure whether the application of the highlighter changes with the texture of the paper. Not sure how they will apply on the smooth, thin pages of a bible. I used the military green color here, and it’s a little dark for my tastes, making it difficult to read the sentence I want to emphasize. I tested the other colors on a regular sheet of paper, and the green didn’t appear to be so dark. Oddly enough, I think the text makes the green appear darker. Anyway, these are labeled “gel,” but I don’t really see how they’re gel. They’re more like a soft wax, requiring minimal force to mark a page. I will probably order this type of highlighter again, but likely in different colors. I do like the color variety, the twist applicator, and the clippy bit to attach it to a book or pocket. Overall I think they’re a good investment if you’re looking for highlighters that won’t bleed. Just be aware that the colors could appear darker depending on the paper and text they’re applied to.
Does the job and doesn’t make a mess. I tried the yellow the very night I got them Loved it. There was just enough color with out any wet,wrinkled paper. There wax no bleeding through the page. I definitely would share with .my reader friends Thanks for developing this marker and all the color s.
