Really Helped The Matter It Was Purchased For. Without getting too personal, I will simply say it was the only product I used to alleviate a matter I was dealing with earlier this Summer during some of the long hot weeks we had. The smell is plesasant, it spreads on easily and the matter it was used for was resolved in about 10 days.
Best diaper cream I have ever used. This is the best diaper cream i have ever used. It is so easy to spread and the scent is not too strong. Apply one time and you will already tell it starts helping immediately after application.
Good Cream. Needed this after a procedure and it works well. Cheaper than in the local stores by almost half the price.

Great for friction rash for adults too. I get friction rashes in between my thighs sometimes, especially when I forget to add powder because my job is fairly active. This works amazing , clears it relatively fast, is non- irritating, and overall I would recommend. The only qualm I have with it is that (at least to me) the smell is pretty gross & is strong. I expected it with zinc oxide but still. If I get it on my hands especially, I cannot stop smelling it until I wash & scrub them really well. Even then it still lingers a bit. Could just be a me thing, but do expect that. But regardless, don’t let that stop you from buying it, it really works well for what I use it for, which is not to smell good.
Best diaper cream. This is the best diaper cream, and is the only thing I’ve used for rashes since my daughter was a newborn. I like the squeeze tube for cleanliness, so you’re not introducing bacteria by repeatedly dipping into a jar. A little goes a long way. It’s nice and thick and actually stays on the skin, forming a nice protective barrier even after closing the diaper. I’ve even used it on some irritation in my babies neck crease, and it cleared it up within hours. I’ll continue to repurchase this for all my babies.
Better than Butt Paste. This is a fantastic product. My baby has never had a diaper rash because I use it in a prophylactic manner, slather it on before bed time and she wakes up 12 hours later still rash or irritation free with a thin coating of it still on booty. None of the other butt creams accomplish this.
One of the best for baby. I always like to keep this product on hand and rotate it into our diaper changes.It it one of our preferred zinc oxide treatments for redness and diaper rashes at a minimum.
Must Have Item for Babys. My daughter-in-law is due in a few weeks and I saw this on Prime days at almost half price so grabbed a tube. I’ve noticed this is one of the items that’s always in the diaper bag.
Super Diaper Rash Prevention and Treatment. We’ve had such good results with Desitin 40% zinc oxide for preventing and treating “butt crud” on our kids and senior family members. 1) Keep them clean and tidy down under 2) Use this liberally 3) You can avoid a lot of unpleasant problems. This purchase was a gift for a friend with a new baby to help get them off on a good start!Be aware: If you travel by air, this stuff will confuse the TSA agents. Declare this item, request a hand inspection of your diaper bag, and this shouldn’t be a problem.
Just the best. I’m a retired nurse who still works part time w elderly people. I always recommend Desitin Max for my clients who wear Depends all the time and are less able to get up and around and care for themselves. It’s the 40% zinc oxide– really helps the skin stay intact or heal if it’s become raw and sore. LD

Best Diaper Rash Cream I’ve Ever Bought. Desitin Maximum Strength Baby Diaper Rash Cream is hands down the best product I’ve ever bought for my baby! The 40% zinc oxide formula works wonders and provides instant relief. I’ve tried other creams in the past, but nothing compares to how quickly this clears up diaper rashes. It goes on smoothly and stays in place, creating a protective barrier that really helps soothe my baby’s skin. Best 10/10. I use to hate Destin because it was hard to wash off the skin but it is by far the best diaper cream for rashes! Especially for overnight use. I’ve tried multiple diaper creams and I still go back to Destin because in my opinion it’s the best diaper cream ever!
One Day Miracle. I was sent to the hospital under her emergency conditions I stayed five days. I didn’t have any of my personal underwear so I was using paper disposable underwear. I did not soil them. I changed them twice a day just because it seemed more sanitary. When I got home. I had the most terrible rash between my thigh and body. I tried several products that I had here and nothing worked. I ordered this on Amazon and within one night, all the redness, rash and pain went away. It’s a miracle product and I highly recommend it.
desitin. A tried-and-true product. I think my parents use this when I was a baby and now I use it on my kids when they have diaper rash. It works like a charm to calm their sensitive skin and quickly get rid of the redness and irritation.
Works on my husband’s extra dry skin. My husband tends to get really dry, scaly, sometimes scabby areas behind/above his ears. It would get very itchy and hurt, and would not look good.I saw a video online and a dermatologist recommended using this for such problems. After a day or so his ears/scalp were back to normal. He applies every night and no issues since.One of his state troopers had a skin issue were it was hurtful to shave his face, hubs recommended this stuff, troop was shaved and on the road the next day. (Our troopers need to be clean shaven everyday).
Desitin for Hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids need cleanliness and skin barrier protection. They need to be kept from skin moisture loss. Treat hemorrhoids like a precious baby’s buttocks. I use a bidet to clean and very soft sturdy toilet tissue pulled to about a yard. I fold it in 3rds over itself until I have a tissue about 5-6 inches long. I place the tissue flat and imagine I am putting a dollop of Desitin over the hemorrhoids in the center of the tissue. Remember the tissue is now top heavy and moving it can cause it fall on it’s face–on messy Desitin. Stand in front of the stool, hold the tissue firmly in your hand( longway) reach behind you and press the dollop firmly over the hemorrhoids until the dollop is under the hemorrhoids as well. Do NOT release. Pull underwear into place while holding tissue pad in place. Once tissue pad is secure, release so underwear is holding Desitin tissue pad in place. Desitin keeps the hemorrhoid clean and protected. Just like a baby’s skin Desitin sticks and needs to gently washed off daily. When defecation occurs, care needs be given the area is clean before Desitin is reapplied. Cheaper than most hemorrhoid ointments. Mine bleed less often and since hemorrhoids cause the rectum to not seal completely, the Desitin protects from skin damage due any form of leakage. I have found this use of tissue gives me more skin protection and less cleanup. Therefore, more comfort with less skin pain.
