Love it. Would of given 5 stars but because of how they shipped it I didn’t.It’s my 2nd one, I should of gotten the extra warranty with it but I didn’t. I strongly recommend getting it, I did this time.It’s the cutest toaster I’ve ever had.To bad they raised the price. I paid $68.00.My only problem is the didn’t ship it in a box, they shipped it just as it with sticker on the outside of the box so unfortunately the box was dented and banged up. I just hope it works.I have 1 month to see if it doesn’t so that’s good.Pictures attached.. hmmmm how do I do that??Errrggghhhg
Red Toaster. I like it knobs made a lil bit cheaper than I expected but it’s still nice. Looks good in my Kitchen along with my other appliances.
Classic Toaster. I had this exact toaster and it finally bit the dust after almost 15 years of daily use. To my surprise, Cuisinart still makes them! The classic style of this toaster fits well in my kitchen. The crumb tray is not the best (some crumbs fall around the tray onto the counter), but I can deal with it. Works well for toast, bagels, and waffles.
The lights on the front panel. The little lights on the front work. That was a question I had. First you press down the arm that starts the toasting process then you click on either bagel, warm, or defrost and then the little light comes on. If you just press the toaster arm down, no lights come on. I don’t think this information is in the owner’s manual.
Not Commercial but is handling commercial levels. So far I have 1 of these that is over a year old and 2 that I just bought…the oldest is still hanging tough with very high levels of usage..its had 10 years worth of toasting in 1 year and its still works…We shall see if it was a fluke…the others are a month old and still doing fine…Breakfast and Lunch for a school of 600+, that’s a lot of bagels..
What a great toaster. Already have used it three times and it has toasted bread, English muffins, and waffles to your perfection. This toaster is solidly built love the stainless steel, classic look, and being that it’s not digital is key, because they tend to fail out after a couple years.Toaster is slightly larger than your typical four slotted toaster. So make sure that you have room for this if you’re stowing it away in a cabinet. The size does matter if you have a small kitchen. Some mainly put it on the countertop where others put it away. Luckily, we have the room, but I had to move and shift some things around the cabinet in order to stow it away properly.Heats up quick, does a phenomenal job. We have a few of the Cuisinart Brands. Some have been wonderful, and some not that great….As of now, it’s a hit. Paddles are solid, locks down easily when dropping the bread in the slots without shoving it down to make sure your items are toasted evenly. Lots of room for Texas toast and browns easily without having to hit the cycle twice. If you set it properly, it will toast it right one time.,,Not much more else to say. Great value! Good Luck!

Simple Design and Does a Good Job. I love toast but it’s not complicated for me so I like how simple this toaster is. Toasts bagels perfectly on the bagel setting. The darkest setting never seems to be long enough for English muffins so I just push down again for more time. Only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the manufacturing seems to be a bit cheaper over the years. We bought this exact model almost 4 years ago and the lever and spring mechanism was more solid. This new one works well but feels a bit fragile. Our cat broke the last one by the way (don’t ask) or we’d still have it.
Great toaster for a family of five. This is a great toaster for a family of 4 or more. It works great and saves me so much time having the option to put in 4 pieces of bread or two full bagels.
Very nice and compact. It you are looking for a 2 slot toaster this is very nice. Very solid, well made and overall excellent.
GREAT TO LEAVE ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER. I’m someone who buys brands that I’ve been satisfied with in the past. Cuisinart is one of those brands! My Mom had a Cuisinart food processer that she used almost daily for over 15 years. I’ve had many great experiences with other Cuisinart products. Our recent purchase of this 4 slice toaster has not been a disappointment. It’s sleek design and size make it perfect for leaving out on the kitchen counter! The heating ranges are pretty accurate, from very lightly toasted to intensly browned. Each side has separate controls and also buttons to choose for bagel, frozen, warm+. The cost was good and we’re enjoying the end results!
Hopefully it lasts. This is our third toaster in the past few months. We had a breville for about 15 years when it began to struggle. We then bought a 4 slice, 2 opening oster toaster that never worked that well to begin with; inconsistent toasting, bagel feature non working. So we bought this. It has worked fairly well so far. The look is nice, however, it feels cheaply made with light weight feeling knobs and dials. While I don’t necessarily care about things other than will this toast bread and a bagel, the construction leaves me a bit leery on the longevity of this.I leave the toast setting to about 5 on the dials — this seems to have decent results. I don’t want to be too negative on this as it is working fine, however, based on my last toaster experience and some of the inconsistent reviews with this and frankly all toasters, I am only cautiously optimistic.Seems like buying a premium toaster is very difficult these days. This is strange as all you are doing is toasting bread through hot wires. Lastly, after plugging it in I “ran it” empty a few times to burn off electrical smell manufacturing residue. Works without smell after that.

excellent toaster. Had it for a few months now. Makes good toast. Bought this based on ATK’s review if I recall correctly. Toasting is even and pretty consistent across the bread. Sync between the two sides is amazingly consistent. Like if you put them down 1 second apart they will pop one second apart. It seems reasonably well built. The smell that comes with the first few runs goes away very quickly – just do a few max runs outside or with a window open, and after that no issues.

doesn’t make toast evenly. I had previously purchased the 435 model of Cuisinart toaster and it lasted 12 years. One of the buttons melted, but it was my fault, so I can’t fault the toaster, but did want a new toaster as we were going to be remodeling my kitchen. I saw this model and saw many great reviews, so after reading about man other toasters, I decided to buy this toaster. First off, it is not as sturdy as I expected, compared to the previous Cuisinart model. Everything about it seems kind of cheap. I am from a generation where things were actually made to last, so things these days most of the time do not fulfill that from the jump. This toaster simply does not toast correctly. It burns the edges and the center is cooked correctly. It doesn’t matter how much adjusting you do, it just doesn’t toast correctly, so that is a bare minimum requirement for me. Secondly, the bagel setting does not seem to work like the other model and just toasts the bread exactly like regular toast, so not sure why it is even a setting. I will be buying another toaster soon as I don’t like burnt toast or crummy eggo waffles when I make them on occasion. I wish I could give another recommendation, but I will be back to the drawing board when I start my search again in the near future. Even the most expensive toaster brands seem to have negative reviews, so this was why I went with this brand and model. I do not recommend it for others to purchase and I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews as I don’t think I got a lemon, it just isn’t that great.
Toast does not stay down. I love the Cuisinart rand! Everything I own in my kitchen is made by them!! But this toaster is weird in that I put the toast in and then I have to push down on the knob at least 4 times to get the toast to stay down. Aldo it does not toast that evenly. This toaster is 20% of the quality of other brand items. I say chose another toaster!
Heater wires are securely placed. The tosting wires on my old toaster had moved and were touching the bread. I thought that it was likely that most toaster manufactures purchased the heating elements from the same source. I went in AI to see which companies made their own elements. This unit was the only American brand that AI identified. The heating elements are much better secured and this solved the problem. The toast browned evenly. Nice looking and good heat control.
There is such thing as a bad toaster. I never would have thought a toaster cold he poor quality.. that is until I upgraded to this one and we LOVE it. We love stainless steel. It looks good on the counter, toast good toast, and you can do four at a time. We love carbs in this house 🙂
Perfect Toast. Love this toaster. Only had it a short time, but it works well and does bagels to perfection! I researched the best toasters before buying and this was a top review. Purchasing through Amazon was cheaper than through other websites.
I think this is Best toaster I’ve ever used. I’m in my 70s and I’ve used many many toasters. The toasting area is large and toasts quickly. It has my favorite “Bagel setting”, which works very well. I give this toaster an A+
