My pit bulls LOVE this kick ball…and the football too. 4 out of 5 of my pit bulls love this ball. I wrote about how they love the football style version of this ball earlier. This brand makes awesome and durable toys for dogs! My fifth pit bull won’t chase anything that isn’t breathing on it’s own. He looks at us as nuts kicking this ball around the yard. I look like I have a soccer team of pit bulls playing in the yard as we kick this ball all over the place. The ball is also easy for the dogs to grip with their teeth, and they have a lot of fun playing chase once one grabs the ball. Warning! This is NOT an indestructible toy despite its durability. If you leave your dog alone with it, expect it to be partially destroyed one tiny piece at a time. I recommend supervising your dog during play to extend the life of this fantastic toy. We are on our second replacement…four pit bulls playing tug of war truly puts a hurting on any toy…but this has lasted the longest.Update 20170708: Yes, still 5 stars. I truly need to set this product up for monthly delivery because 3 of my pit bulls go through this or the football at a rate of about one a week. When I say ‘ball, ball,’ they get all excited and run for the door or to where we have the ball stowed. I have to stow it 7 ft off the floor level to keep it out of reach from complete annihilation. The 4th pit bull, Momma Bella, has since backed off playing as her 3 pups are now full grown and are very competitive for the ball. She prefers playing one on one with us so long as she isn’t being body slammed by the younger dogs. I think Rugby is probably the closest description of what my younger dogs are doing when playing for this amazing toy. I have tried introducing other toys for play, but seriously, this is what they dream about as they sleep at night. The larger kickball is a challenge for my smallest dog, our runt in the litter, so we make some exceptions to feign throw the ball in one direction and toss it behind us to allow her more time to grip it with her mouth before being chased by her brothers for it. We do try to give each dog time with the ball each play period about two or three different times throughout the day. To keep the balls lasting at least a week, we cannot allow any one dog to keep the ball for any length of period or they start chewing on it to soften it and create tears in it for easier gripping during catch. The smaller football is a lot easier on our runt to get and run, but her larger brothers struggle with the unpredictable bounce when the ball is still mostly firm and intact. Alternating between the kick ball and the foot ball has been really great for exercise and mental stimulation of our dogs. I cannot praise this product enough. BTW the color choice is spot on…why? When they do manage to separate the inner foam ball from the outer orange and blue shell, they ignore the foam ball and play with the shredded outer covering. I know dogs can see limited colors and blue being one of them. I am not sure if orange is as well, but they absolutely love this and easily find the new ones in our workshop storage area against all the other stuff we have in storage if we aren’t careful.

Dogs Love It. We have a Chessie/Lab Mix and a German Shepherd and toy selection is a process in our house. The Chessie loves balls – tennis balls, soccer balls, squeaker balls etc. The German Shepherd on the other hand will chew up and swallow just about any toy he can. We no longer have stuffed toys (especially ones with squeakers) in our house. This is a big kick ball that looks like a giant tennis ball so our Chessie almost started drooling when he saw it. The GSD loves to fetch it but then brings it back to the Chessie to play tug-o-war with it. Considering the abuse this ball has taken I would say it has held up really well. They receive it for Christmas and it’s not July. Considering I once had to take a “Super Strong” *(and expensive) toy back to the pet store after the GSD pratically chewed it in half within and hour of me bringing home, I’d say going on 8 months with this one is great. Now don’t get me wrong it has some major wear and quite a few tears at this point, but I have yet to find anything my GSD can’t destroy. Around our house if it lasts more than a month it gets a stamp of approval and we probably have bought several replacement of that same item. We already have this one on the list to be replaced soon. It’s too much fun to be able to kick the ball around with a couple of dogs. Plus it’s nice to be able to kick the ball around ever now and then instead of having to grab the slobbery ball to throw it. This thing supposedly glows in the dark where the white rubberized part is, but honestly we never play out outside in the dark with it. It is indented where the white rubberized part is, so it’s pretty easy for the dogs to pick it up and carry it around ( or play tug with it in our boys case) This is a nice alternative to a soccer ball for them too. They liked playing witha soccer bal but would usually pop it within a week. This ball is a dense foam core so there’s no popping it. They love it and I would recommend it. We’ll be on our second one soon. Go play ball with your dog!
Super durable for big dog. My German Shepard isn’t much of a chewer, but this ball has lasted over a year before I had to buy a new one! It’s the perfect size for him (he’s about 85lbs), and he loves that he can sink his teeth into it. He loves playing with big balls, but they would always pop, of course; so this is perfect for him. I’ve recommended to many other dog owners!
Tough Chewer. My 55lb pit-mix obsess-chews on anything rope or stuffed, and this is often no exception. One of these stills lasts us 12+ months with fairly heavy use of the pit mix and an active border collie (sometimes 4 dogs when the neighbor’s dogs come over to play). After our first one was too damaged to use anymore, we came back and immediately bought two more.
Best toy for interactive play. Much more fun than throwing a tennis ball. My dogs love playing soccer with me and love that they can still grip this ball. Don’t leave it unattended or they might shred it, but it’s a lot of fun and great exercise for us both
My dog loved it. My dog loved it and it was fun to play with. It lasted longer than most toys with him. It is a bit pricy. I will buy it again, because it did last about two months. But I had to put it aside so my dog couldn’t sit and chew on it. She loved it.
18lb Dachshund vs The Ball. This is Fergus. He is 18lb, a hunting dog & has jaws of steel & a bite strength I would put up against any large breed dog alive. The ball is great quality. We gave him the ball & this was the result after 10 minutes. The ball is a great size. It’s very firm, but light weight. He enjoyed chasing & tackling it. But when he got to work chewing on it. He easily shredded the kevlar outter shell into threads. We are still happy with it but know now we will have to buy a few at a time. This would be great for a medium chewer or for a dog who enjoys retrieving balls.
Perfect for Full Size Doodle. The media could not be loaded. If you’re searching for the ultimate toy to keep your dog happy and active, the Large Chuckit! Ball is it. It’s become a household favorite fast!Durability and Design: This ball is tough. Even with our Doodle’s enthusiastic chewing and fetching, it’s held up great. The material is chew-resistant yet soft enough for her to carry easily, thanks to the handy little grips designed for a secure bite.Color and Visibility: The bright orange color is not only eye-catching but also super practical. It’s easy to spot, and our pup recognizes it instantly from her other Chuckit! toys, making every game of fetch exciting.Comparison to Other Balls: Compared to a soccer ball, this Chuckit! Ball is just the right size and way easier to handle. It’s perfect for fetching, less messy, and simple to clean. Much safer than the soccer balls our dog used to chase!Overall, the Large Chuckit! Ball is a durable, fun, and well-designed toy that our Golden Doodle loves. It’s a great choice for keeping your dog entertained and active. Highly recommended!

Meu pet amou, muito boa
Glows well; expect to be destroyed quickly. This was purchased for my dog because he loved the not glow in the dark one my sister has for her dogs. Ours was delivered on July 3rd. Included are pictures from the day of delivery and today (Sept. 24th, 2024). We have used this regularly, not daily, since we got it because the rubber and the fabric started tearing after the first week. That first week we used it every night before bedtime but the rubber started to tear quickly where he grabs it.I love this ball. Noodles loves this ball. It is possibly his favorite toy that he has. We bought a flashlight blacklight just so we can charge the ball up at night while we play to keep the ball visible in the dark. I wasn’t hitting it with the three minutes of uv it recommends but a quick figure 8 around the rubber and it glows bright for at least 15 minutes before it needed recharged. Most of our yard is a hill and getting my Brittney mix to run up the hill and burn off his energy has been amazing. He tends to trip when running around with the ball but I think that’s just from him being 8 months old and trying to play keep away with the ball. It says kick fetch and as someone with bad coordination and a tendency to roll an ankle standing still, it is easy to get a good kick in and watch it fly up the hill. This isn’t a super bouncy ball. It doesn’t seem designed to bounce outside of not being super hard to kick. I wouldn’t be concerned about taking a blow to the face with this ball. It is that soft. It’s gonna hurt but it won’t break anything but your glasses. The ball doesn’t have any internal noise making bits. The sound of your foot hitting the ball, or it bouncing off whatever surface you threw it at is about the only noise it makes. Maybe if your dog is yappy the sound of “throw the ball!!!” in dog might count to some people. My boy just throws his 48 pound body at the person holding the ball hoping to steal it so he can race around the yard playing keep-away and showing it off to our other dog who could not give a hoot about balls. We have several hours of fun with this ball but the rubber glow-in-the-dark parts are not sturdy at all and can not survive regular play. The ball’s shape makes it easy to grab and grip even when Noodles has hold of it but it was also it’s weak point as at the seams are where it started to tear first. The fabric is ripped at a seam as well but that is the only place the actual fabric tore up. The glowing rubber is the primary casualty.I write my review now because it seems the ball has finally bit the dust. The husband and Noodles were fighting over the ball and one of the pieces about pulled all the way off and I can see into the ball now. I may try to see if we have any glue, but I fear it is beyond repair. I give it four stars because my dog loves the ball. I have to hide it in a can in the house or he wants to play with it inside! If it wasn’t for the fact it has only lasted three months, not even three full months if we are technical, I would have given it five stars. I will watch for it to go on sale and likely get him another. I noticed PetSmart near me has the glow in the dark tennis balls, may give them a try since I have the chuckit stick.
Finally the perfect ball. This ball has achieved the impossible by being both indestructible (so far) and also lightweight. Our German shepherd loves carrying large balls around. She either tears them apart or we’ll give her the hollow plastic ones that dispense treats, and she’ll drop it from her mouth… which makes a very annoying loud sound as it falls and bounces. So this ball is perfect for her weird ritual of carrying a big ball around in her mouth all day. The interesting shape makes it more fun for the dog to try to get a grip on it, and it’s easier for me to grab on to it from her mouth so we can attempt to play fetch. So far it has lasted us 2 weeks and is still holding up strong, but I will definitely repurchase this if/ when necessary.
Sturdy, spendy, great toy. These are pretty well made, but I can’t keep buying them when my Rottweiler, who absolutely loves them, is able to destroy them in a matter of hours. If you have something other than a Tyranosaurus Rott, you’ll likely find this a great toy for your pooch.
Perfect toy. The shepherds loved this toy. It lasted much longer than other toys they have had and is very durable. It has lots of bounce and is easy to grip.
