  1. I really like this thing. Everyone kept telling me they love their air fryer, so I wanted one. I became obsessed with finding the perfect one for me so after a month I settled on this one. First thing I made was berry crisp, threw the stuff together in a couple single serve bake dishes, set it to 350 for 40 minutes and it was perfect. No preheating, no heating the entire apartment, just perfect crisp. There were several complaints from other buyers who said there were missing pieces or their units didn’t work, or initially worked and then stopped working. Mine came very well packaged, no damage, all parts included, so I have no complaints there but I understand if maybe some sellers are less thorough or trustworthy in regards to the products they provide. Some complained that it was loud. This is the most quiet kitchen appliance I have ever purchased, it makes less noise than my microwave. Also, I’m not quite sure why people complain that the drip tray isn’t large enough, it’s literally the same dimensions as the bottom of the unit, so any spill-over should land on the tray unless you’re filling this unit over capacity somehow, not sure how that is possible. I also want to mention that although heat did radiate from the unit immediately around it, it did not heat up my kitchen and it stayed warm to the touch but it wasn’t hot so despite baking for 40 minutes I was able to open the oven door with my bare hands. . . Anyway, I’m very happy, so far. This is only day one so I will come back and update.***Update*** Sept. 25. . . 2 months after purchase:I’m still in-love with this item. No electrical issues, whatsoever. Looks like others have had theirs just outright die after working perfectly the first few days or month. Thankfully, that is not the case with mine. Others also reported the door not shutting properly or at all. This, too, has not been an issue. I’ve basically used this item every other day since it arrived. The only thing I will say is that there is definitely room for improvement. But, I’m just not picky enough to care, I am content in my complacency. For those of you who do care about such details: The temp is set in increments of 10 degrees, 5 would be better. Also, if you decide to stop cooking sooner than the time you’ve set it for, the unit never turns off like it would if the timer completed and it’s “finished.” There is no “clear” or reset button or even an on/off button, so if it bothers you that the screen doesn’t power down and displays the minutes remaining until you decide to use it again then you’re forced to just unplug the unit and plug it back in. And when the timer is done the “BEEP” is very loud and it will beep 5 times, no matter what, it will not be silenced until it has completed its beeps. But there is actually an updated model of this item so these features might be improved (although I have no idea) but it might be worth checking that newer model out if these would be issues for you.**8 month update**The plastic on the handle has cracked, but it does not interfere with the functionality and I am still in love.** 2.5 year update, Jan 2024**Still works with consistent use!

  2. Didn’t work out for me, not what I was hoping for. Ok, I try not to leave bad reviews because I feel bad. I understand that a product is created by people and people are relying on that product so I hate to feel that any negativity I may have experienced would reflect poorly on that product and it’s origins. I’m going to preface this by saying maybe for other households, this might be a mighty little appliance. It didn’t do for me. I was looking for something to replace my air fryer and my convection toaster oven, but I needed it to be something that would function at least 85% as well for both appliances. The good points – It’s cute. It’s very streamlined, almost like a little space capsule. Doesn’t have a large footprint on the counter; it’s so shiny and black and came with all of its accessories all perfectly packaged. And for the record, I did not notice any gas off odors while cooking. I won’t say that was any issue for me. No problems there. So I took everything out and washed/prepped it for my first use (and the only one as it would turn out). I wanted to make fries. Now I’m a french fry fanatic. I mean, I love them. Everyone in my life knows that the key to my heart is french fries. Co-workers need some assistance at work? Sure, if you want to return the favor…bring me some fries. I don’t need Starbucks man, carb me up! So here I am; I figure, what’s easier to do than frozen fries. I put some in all the top 2 layers and put 2 frozen beef patties on the bottom layer. Well, I’ll be darned if that thing took forever to cook the food. I mean it; it was like 3 cycles of 20 minutes each. I could not figure what was wrong. It was hot; it’s not like it didn’t get hot. I rotated the trays; I shuffled things around It wasn’t overfilled although on that note, I don’t think it was what I would consider a family size oven. Of course, I’m not comparing it to a standard oven, it just seemed like the usable space inside was not enough to accommodate the amount of food needed to feed more than 1-2 with ease. I’m not a large person; 5 feet tall and 100 pounds soaking wet; my husband is 6 feet and tipping the scales at 220 so I guess the 2 of us is like 3 average-ish people. If we had kids, somebody was not going to get fed. So after all that trying and shuffling and watching and waiting, in the end; it suddenly went over the threshold for yumability in a heartbeat. I figured I’d go all out and toast the buns; it worked only nominally better. Not the best toasting, that also took some finagling. Maybe it wasn’t the machine, maybe it was me; it sensed my doubt and could not live up to my hopes and dreams. Well, it was a very sad dinner that we had that night with the dried out fries and the dried out burgers. I was bitter. And then I had to wash those trays. Nope; that was not fun. I soaked them and scrubbed them with a brush and got them somehow clean again, but I had already come to the conclusion that our short relationship had come to an end. I sent it packing the next morning; I hadn’t even had it a whole 24 hours. I will give you that I did not test out it’s other functions. But if it don’t air fry and toast well for me; then it’s got to go. I won’t say don’t give it a try yourself. Take it with a grain of salt. I’ve sometimes ready glowing reviews for things that I thought was madness and sometimes took a chance on items that didn’t get great reviews for which the product performed like a rock star. Maybe I didn’t give it enough tries. I can’t say because that moment has passed. I did end up buying a different brand’s air fryer convection oven grill appliance and I gotta say I love it. Shop around, read the reviews, decide for yourself. Just throwing my thoughts out in the universe for absorption.

  3. Donna Faye Alconera September 12, 2023 at 12:00 am

Loved it while it lasted. We loved this fryer. I still love it! But the hinge on the door came off and it looks like there is nothing that holding the screw in. I don’t know if super glueing it will work but it looks like we just have to get another fryer. This lasted us for 1 year and 6 months. I wish it could just be fixed but I am not sure about the warranty on this.

  4. Donna Faye Alconera September 14, 2023 at 12:00 am

Leaks grease. I like it. I use it often. But it leaks oil out of the bottom. So I have a mess to clean up after every use The dehydrator did not get my fruits crispy even after cooking them for 8 hrs.

  5. Not what I expected. I have purchased 3 Chefman air fryers in the past 2 years. Chefman had the features I wanted at an affordable price, however, that said, NONE lasted more than 7 months. I got a “beep” and the power went out. One was a gift to my daugher-in-law so I know it had nothing to do with a power surge. I attempted to remove screws and find the filters, etc. etc. but it was more work than it was worth. I will not purchase a Chefman again.

  6. Quiet and Efficient. I bought this after my old air fryer stopped working. This one was a lot quieter compared to my last. I love all the options it has. It counts down, like most do, but this one gives you a 5min warning. It large and comes with 3 racks. I love the option for the temperature probe, although I’ll probably never use it. It has thee option of air fry, bake, and dehydrate. Hopefully this one will last us a long time.

  7. Great customer service. We originally bought this air fryer in June 2023. Just a few days ago it all of sudden just stopped working after more than a year of regular use and no issues. We reached out to chefman customer services to see what our options were. They requested a video showing that it wasn’t working. After submitting the requested info and video they are sending a replacement fryer.

  8. Excellent little machine. Ok, I’ll admit, not the greatest picture, but it does show a little of how it fits in my RV. My whole stove is to the right, so I could still cook on it. The air fryer fits between my sink and stove.I use mine at least twice a day. Some part of every meal is usually cooked in this little air fryer. I travel for work, 250ish days a year, so it sees heavy use 7 days a week. I have zero complaints. I don’t think you’d cook for many more than 2 people at a time in it, but that suits my needs perfectly.I’ve never used the 3 racks simultaneously, almost always just a single rack, but that hasn’t bothered me. It’s been a perfect appliance in the RV, and allows me to cook healthy meals while on the road, most importantly without burning too much propane by using my oven.I have ZERO complaints, and am a huge air fryer fan. I never gave them much thought until my wife bought me one for the RV. It lasted about two years before I bought this one, the more compact size has been perfect.Cleaning is easy. I noticed another reviewer mentioned the mesh racks. No big deal. Since I’m in an RV, I don’t have a dishwasher. I let them soak for a bit, then a scrub brush cleans them right up.For the RV people out there, I have a small rig that runs on 30 amp power. The ONLY time I have a problem is when I try to run the fryer, microwave, and AC at the same time. 2 of the three are fine, but all three trips the breaker. Not a huge inconvenience, especially when I have a gas range and oven to work with.Highly recommend. I’ve owned this one about 5 months, so I can’t speak to it’s longevity, but I can say in those 5 months it’s cooked at least 150 meals.

  9. Very cool item. This item is great. Just got it and tried it out with 3 items in it. Pizza, fries and chicken, one per rack, and it all turned out great. Speedy. Hot. Crunchy. It’s pretty quiet but yes can hear the fan. Good build and multi functional. The size also isn’t overly huge for a 12qt option

  10. love the window to see how the cooking is coming along. Easy to use and large capacity. This was a gift. I had a smaller one and got this for my vacation home I like the larger capacity and the versatility of this unit. It seems easy to clean and I can tell we are going to use this a lot to keep from heating the big oven while the A/C is on. I often use it out on the porch or in the garage.

  11. One of the best air fryers and dehydrators I’ve used. This is one of the best air fryers and dehydrators I’ve used. I have owned about 4 accumulatively and experienced many from friends and family. It’s exceptionally quiet, heats up quickly, and distributes heat very evenly, delivering consistently good results. The intuitive design and easy-to-clean surfaces add to its appeal, and the price is unbeatable for the quality. The dehydrator function is equally impressive, maintaining vibrant colors and clean flavors. With other brands, I’ve experienced foods turning overly dark or black due to poor heat distribution, which leads to discoloration and overheating. The only downside is cleaning the crumbs that fall into the opening at the bottom of the door. Although the manual says the door can be removed for separate washing, it’s extremely difficult to do so without feeling like something might break.

  12. Rotisserie. Does not take up a lot of space and runs pretty quiet. We cooked a chicken and roast using the rotisserie and they were absolutely delicious . Great window and light if needed. Very easy to use and easy to clean. Love the drip tray. Air fryer works great and it warns you when to flip your food during cooking.

  13. Great until it stopped working. I loved this air fryer, after 2 years it just stopped working in the middle of cooking dinner. Contact Chefman and the only thing they are offering me is a 20% discount n a new one. I was very disappointed in their customer service. I had my friend buy one because I loved it so much, now I feel bad because it may just stop working in a year for her.

  14. A game changer for family meals. I recently purchased the Chefman 12-Quart 6-in-1 Air Fryer Oven, and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance! This air fryer oven is perfect for families, as it offers ample space for cooking large meals. The 12-quart capacity means I can easily prepare enough food for my whole family in one go, without having to cook in batches. The 6-in-1 functionality is fantastic! It’s not just an air fryer – it also works as a convection oven, toaster oven, and more, which makes it incredibly versatile. Whether I’m making crispy fries, roasting chicken, baking a pizza, or even dehydrating fruit, this air fryer handles it all effortlessly. The 12 presets take the guesswork out of cooking, and the touchscreen is super intuitive and easy to use.One of my favorite features is the digital timer, which ensures that my food is cooked to perfection every time. I also appreciate how easy it is to clean – the dishwasher-safe parts save me so much time and effort after cooking.Overall, this air fryer oven has become an essential part of my kitchen. It’s quick, efficient, and delivers delicious results every time. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and multifunctional kitchen appliance!

  15. Perfect Addition to the Kitchen. I had no idea what I was missing by not having an air fryer. After all, I have a microwave, an oven, and an assortment of pots & pans and I live alone, so I don’t do a lot of heavy duty cooking. It air fries, bakes, and dehydrates in less time than a regular oven and without the soggy results that a microwave sometimes offers. Your baked potato will taste baked, not boiled in its skin. Veggies can be cooked slightly crisp. Meats and fish will be perfect AND it will happen in less time than with your oven and without heating up the entire house. It’s definitely a must have item for singles, couples, and those with teens, as well as those who want to conserve energy. Food does not stick to the surfaces, so it’s very easy to keep clean. Price is very good compared with other models. It was a definite win-win purchase for me.

  16. Convenient and Versatile Air Fryer for Busy Families. I’ve been using the Chefman 12-Quart 6-in-1 Air Fryer Oven for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s become my go-to kitchen appliance for quick and easy meals. This air fryer oven is perfect for larger batches, making it ideal for families or anyone who likes to meal prep. The touchscreen is user-friendly, and the digital timer makes it easy to set and forget, so I can get on with other tasks while my meal cooks. The 12 presets are a huge plus, whether you’re making chicken wings, fries, or even baking a small pizza, it’s almost like having a personal chef in your kitchen. The best part? Cleanup is a breeze, thanks to the dishwasher-safe parts. I’ve made everything from crispy fries to perfectly roasted veggies, and everything comes out evenly cooked with that signature crispiness you love.Pros: • Large capacity (12 quarts) perfect for big batches or family meals • User-friendly touchscreen with clear digital timer • 12 presets for easy cooking (no need to guess) • Dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup hassle-free • Cooks food evenly with a great crispCons: • The size of the unit may take up a lot of counter space in smaller kitchens • The fan can be a bit loud, but it’s not a deal-breakerOverall, this air fryer oven has been a great addition to my kitchen. It makes cooking easier and faster, especially when you’re juggling multiple meals or have a hungry family to feed. It’s a solid pick for anyone looking to up their air fryer game!

  17. More Cooking Surface but Not More Counter Surface. My entire family loves this air fryer. Even my husband who’s not a fan of air fryers loves this one. I think because it functions more like an oven and you can do so many things with it. We haven’t cooked the chicken yet but we will soon. Most of all you get 3 cooking racks so more cooking surface, but it doesn’t take up more counter surface! Cleans easily and is attractive as well as it can cook well, cooking the items evenly on all 3 racks. Our family of 5 love it.

  18. Great air fryer for its price. It is overall a great product, the cook time is perfect but for French fries don’t cut it to thin or else it will burn, heat level is astonishingly good it greats very hot, it is quite versatile and easy to clean but the door is quite heavy make sure not to pull it down to hard, and very easy even the dehydrator setting I taught my sister how to use it

  19. Highly recommend. Excellent! I’ve been using this for about one month. It replaced a similar (Aria) air fryer I used regularly for three years. This one cooks at higher temperature than my old one. The metal wire racks are perfect alternative to nonstick surfaces of most air fryers. Easier to clean outside than old air fryer. The rotisserie feature seems kind of silly since the oven is not big enough for a standard chicken! We make excellent roast lamb, roast beef, roast chicken in this oven. We regularly make roasted veg and French fries (cut spuds, soak, towel dry, toss in bowl with olive oil, corn starch, salt, and spices). Perfect for making and warming pizza. Very practical appliance and this one is highly recommended.

  20. CHEFMAN Multifunctional Digital Air Fryer+ Rotisserie, Dehydrator, Convection Oven. Love the look in my kitchen, works good, cooks fast, love all the features and digital read out panel, rotisserie works great for small items. Love that it has several cooking trays/shelves. Heats up fast, and will cook practically anything quickly. Only drawbacks for me was it’s a little smaller than I expected, and the trays/shelves are more difficult to clean than others I’ve had with ‘non stick’ shelves/cooking trays. Haven’t used long enough yet to comment on durability? so far, so good.
