Easy to remove hair from brush. It actually works. I like the ejector style brush, and while it doesn’t quite produce the neat, thick pad of hair shown, it does eject the hair well when you’ve covered the whole brush surface. My cat also seemed to like the feel of the brush and allowed me to use it on her for quite awhile, even pulling out some mats, which it did a decent job with. She hasn’t been as cooperative with other brushes, so that’s a big plus.

Good brush. The media could not be loaded.  My cat really enjoyed this brush and it was able to get a good amount of hair in just a couple of minutes! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it came with some bristles bent out of shape. This did not seem to change the outcome of the brushing, but I can see how this may be an issue in the future. The brush is easy to hold, but you do have to push the button on the back of the brush evenly to get all of the hair out.

The Perfect Pet Brush. I normally use a flea comb to remove the loose hairs from my cat; however, when I happened upon this self-cleaning slicker brush, it piqued my interest. Since my cat likes the metal tines of the flea comb, I figured she would like this brush since it’s metal as well. And the self-cleaning feature intrigued me. Well, my cat absolutely loves it, and the hair collection feature of this brush is much more practical that using a flea comb, where I had to stop and remove the hair build up in the comb during the brushing process. My cat is short-haired, and I capture so much hair. I can’t imagine how much you could collect from a long-haired cat. I can now comb my cat for quite a long time before I have to eliminate the hair from the brush. And the removal process is just a matter of depressing the knob on the back of the comb. No more fly away hairs! Love it.The brush design is indeed ergonomic. Very easy to brush from any angle. I can move it forward or backward and there is no discomfort or any need for repositioning my hand when I change the angle. My cat just lays there in ecstasy. She’s happy and I am happy. A great buy!

This brush work great. So far my big furry dog and I are loving this brush! Used it for the first time today and I love that it’s an oval shape and bigger than the pet brush I use for the cats. The prongs are round-tipped, plentiful, and about a half inch long. The brush goes easily through his thick fur, and he loves being brushed. He is really shedding this spring and has a thick undercoat that comes out in tufts this time of year. Very easy to clean the brush–just push the button on the back and the prongs retract/fur comes right off. Really glad I got this!

great idea, bristles need work. I ordered this cat brush because I like the idea that a button pushes the cat hair away from the bristles for easy cleaning. That feature works like a charm and is a great idea.The bristles need some improvement however. They are a very thin metal and I don’t think they will hold up well over repeated use over time. And even though the tips have protective covers, they are still quite stiff and not as comfortable for the cat as plastic bristles. Neither of my cats like this brush very much.
