Solid Entry Level DSLR. I’ve done semi-professional photography for over 10 years now. This is a solid camera for taking product shots with a controlled light source, or a step up from your mobile camera. i was looking for decent camera to take with me to shoot events and family gatherings and my old NIKON was over 10 years old.Pros:Weight: Super Light camera. Doesn’t feel like a terrible weight to carry around on your neck. This is important if you carry around on vacation or to family events.Value: The two lens deal offered on black Friday was well worth it – TheEF 75-300mm Lens sells for at least $200 by itself.Easy to Use: The EOS Rebel is a solid camera with lots of abilities and the menus are really easy to use.Cons:WIFI: The Wifi settings are clunky. I don’t need to attach to a mobile phone — a computer would be a better choice IMHO.Cheap Button: Canon has never upgraded the stupid small plastic button to extract the SD cards and battery. Years ago I had to use a tweezer after breaking this off for another Rebel.Overall: I’ve got a speedlight on order — I think if you want to get decent shots indoors without using a controlled studio lighting, you’ll need additional flash power. Outside, the clarity of the photos using Auto Focus on a wriggly dog is fantastic.
Easy to use out of the box and has excellent pro capabilities. The T7 is an excellent value for the money. I got a 128GB microSDXC uhs-1 card at Microcenter (no buffering so far). Very easy to use; advanced capabilities for taking very professional pictures. This is the third Canon I have owned (AE-1, PowerShot, now the T7) and I am very happy the T7. The kit lenses, 18-55mm & 75-300mm, are great for general photography (I have done some real estate photography and the 18mm setting is very good for showing a whole room). I may invest in a Canon fixed 50mm lens for portraits. I will also get a second battery. This is such a popular camera, there are literally hundreds of YouTube videos on how the learn the basics and how to employ the T7’s advanced settings (get off the Auto settings as soon as you can)
Exceptional. I loved getting the whole camera with case and lens! It was an awesome pick for a gift and the perfect package for everything needed to start off. The quality of the camera was amazing and the extra lens added a unique perspective to choose from! Easiest buy yet !
Great Camera For Beginners. I have always been a fan of Canon Cameras, and this would be a great camera for someone just starting into the world of photography. For the price, this is a great kit. I would only recommend this kit for someone who has no interest in posting photos or videos on anything other than social media. The photos on this camera are acceptable, but not as good as some of its higher level cameras. The video function on this camera is useable, but I quickly grew out of it. The lack of microphone input and headphone port is disappointing.I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into the world of photography who does not need this camera for anything in sales or publication.
My first but not my last. This is my first DSLR camera and man oh man was I blown away. The packaging reminded me of opening a new sega genesis on Christmas morning. The camera is compact but has so many features packed into that small frame. I love taking pictures of nature and scenery, I live a few blocks from the beach so I’ve just walked there and taken pictures of the ocean and surrounding area. This camera is fun and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend and at this price point for the set it’s a great gift for that future photographer.
It’s A Great Camera. I love this camera and it was way better than my old camera!
AMAZING QUALITY. I wanted this to take photos for my business and for my trips I’ll be taking soon! This is beyond amazing and the best purchase I’ve ever made! The photos look incredible very professional and honestly don’t know how to operate settings and stuff and it looks fantastic ❤️ I 1000000% recommend this camera don’t spend anything over this price for a camera that works the same it’s very professional!
Amazing Beginner DSLR Camera. I’d like to recommend this entry-level DSLR camera to all users who haven’t bought a camera yet. I initially came across it during a digital photography class where it was provided, and subsequently, I purchased it myself! It’s incredibly easy to operate and handle, and now I use it as my primary tool for commercial photography. The results are exceptionally clear in well-lit areas. There can be some difficulties when shooting at night without flash, but the photos still turn out great after post-processing! The following photo was taken using the M mode, and it offers a great user experience. The battery life is also impressive. When I’m just taking photos and not recording videos, I can shoot for three to four hours straight without the battery level dropping significantly. However, video recording consumes more battery. Additionally, this camera is highly versatile, producing excellent results in portrait and landscape photography, and is also ideal for street photography.

Great camera, easy to use. I just bought to take pictures of my kiddo & it has been super user friendly & wonderful. You don’t have to be a photographer to figure it out & use it. Quality of pictures is good even with using the preset settings. The WiFi connectivity feature is great for ease of transferring photos from the camera to your phone easily without the hassle of taking of the card and putting into the laptop. The size is perfect for not needing too much storage space and it come with a strap so you can put it around your neck to capture your moments. 10/10 recommend.
This is a cool camera, I’m still learning how to use it. This is a cool camera, it is pricey but a decent camera for the price it is. It isn’t very compact due to the lens and weight is heavy with both camera and lens. I got a holga manual lens to try out some interesting pictures.
Great camara. The instruction manual explains everything in easy to follow instructions. I’m very pleased with the camera. The instruction manual was thorough and easy to follow.
Good camera. I bought this to replace a T3 camera. It is so similar, making the learning curve easy. The photos are sharper than my old camera. Very pleased with purchase.
Its pretty good. Overall this camera is perfectly fine for new photographers, it comes with everything you need to get a lens, battery, charger. If i had to recommend anything i would recommend getting a telephoto lens, the lens that it comes with is fine for close ups but the zoom is not good enough for wildlife and aviation. The only downside to this camera bundle is that the 18-55mm lens is not made out of glass, but it works fine.
Solid value – really a delight to own this. Love the quality, image clarity and flexibility to get all kinds of lenses/accessories. It is not too delicate, as I dropped it and sent it in for repair. I am glad I bought an extended warranty. I use mine every day, and am a convert from another brand that all appraisers use except for me.

Nice camera. Good camera, I feel it is more for an intermediate photographer. It has too many features for a beginner. It does take wonderful pictures.
Great camera. Im in love with the camera and I haven’t even learned every in and out yet. It’s an exceptional beginner camera and I’m excited to start my career with it. It comes with a strap, lens, lens cover, battery, and battery charger. I’ve only had to charge the battery once so far and I’ve had the camera for about a week and have used it almost everyday. The image quality is better than I expected. The only things I have trouble with are the zoom and night quality which can be solved with another lens and a tripod!
Highly recommend this camera, but also would suggest a telephone lens with it. Extremely nice camera for the price point. I am an experienced photographer using a manual camera and this is my first DSLR camera. The instructions inside the box were not very helpful, but I did find YouTube instructions on how to set up the camera and it was fairly easy from that. I would recommend getting a telephoto lens when purchasing this camera as the 55 mm lens though adequate is not the best for what I like to use the camera for. I already had a camera bag and have it for carrying this camera for protection and will be looking for a Telephoto lens to go with this camera in the near future.
works great. Good beginner to camera for doing some nice photography.
