Related Product Deals & User Reviews

  1. An exceptional bang for your buck. Disclaimer: I decided to try and use these entirely in place of my current brushes to review them fully. Obviously, not all of them are direct swaps for what I presently use. The photo above shows the brush I used for each aspect with my normal brush above it. The following products were used for testing: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation, NARS Creamy Concealer, Wander Beauty brow pencil, Ciate setting powder, Hot Mama blush by The Balm Cosmetics, Pacifica Beauty bronzer, the Urban Decay Heat eyeshadow palette and ColourPop Highlighter from their Disney Villains Hades collection. For foundation, I used the Face Flat Brush. Normally, I use an Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush or a knock off beauty blender from Target. On touch, I noticed the Flat Face Brush felt a little less dense than my normal brush, and a little bit softer as a result. I like to use this brush in more of a buffing circular motion than a stippling technique. It seemed to take more product than the UD brush for the same area, and the finish was a little more sheer and natural looking, but it still covered well and looked great so no major complaints.I then went to do brows, which as mentioned above, is pencil. Normally, I would just use the spoolie on the brow pencil, but I wanted to test everything that I possibly could so I used the Eyelash Brush. It was a lot bigger and softer than the spoolie and blended my brow pencil a lot better than the spoolie it came with. 10/10 would use again for this purpose.I then used the Classic Eyeshadow Brush to put a base color over my entire eye. Usually, I use a Farrah brush I got in an ipsy bag or the flat side of the UD double ended shadow brush that came in my palette for this. It was really soft and spread the color evenly with no patchiness. I also did not notice a ton of fall out or excess pigment that needed to be tapped out of the brush before use.I then used the Angled Detail Brush to add a crease color. Again, usually this is the flat side of my UD brush or a random Farrah Brush. I anticipated with how cheap these were that the color pick up would not be very good or that the brush itself would eat all of the color and not really put it on my eye, so I accidentally used waaaaaay too much and it was a bit darker than I was going for. The eyeshadow brushes were definitely surpassing my expectations up to this point.I used what is identified as the Concealer Brush as a more precise brush to apply a color along my upper and lower lashline. Its a fairly matte and dark color, so any streakiness was observed pretty quick. I had to do two passes to get rid of any streaks etc, though I wonder if this was partially to do with me using the brush for a purpose other than recommended or if I was hesitant to use as much color as I could have due to my earlier over deposit on the crease.I used the Blender Brush with nothing on it to blend my crease fiasco from earlier and add a transition color, which I would normally use the blending side of the UD brush or, yep, you guessed it, Farrah brush from my Ipsy bag for. It worked incredible. This brush is by far better than my Farrah brush and it will become my daily use brush.I used the Mini Flame Brush for concealer to kind of really clearly cut my eye look and give it sharp lines. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it glided and that it didn’t try to fan outward and lose those defined and even lines like my current brush. It was totally worthless for actually blending my concealer out, though. Again, not sure if this was user error or what. Went in with the Multi-Function brush to blend out, partially to use as many brushes as I could and partially because I just wanted to try and grasp what it is even for because I have never used one in my 20+ years doing my own makeup. It worked decently, but I am not jumping to replace my Vasanti concealer buffer and Farah concealer brush with this combination.I then used the flat angled brush to set under my eyes, which is usually a Moda buffer brush. No major difference between the two in performance, and this was cheaper so I would probably have no qualm switching. They feel identical in softness and density.I then used the Powder Brush to apply a setting powder to my entire face. I use a buffing motion when I do this. I normally use a Farah 50F brush for this. This powder brush is very soft and fluffy, but my sensitive skin didn’t love being buffed by it and it definitely felt a little more rough than my Farah. I can see myself using it, but I am not sure I am giving up my OG.I used the Angled Brush to contour my cheek bones and forehead with bronzer. This worked great and I got very clean and nice lines. I wish the color payoff were a little better, but this also could be a product issue as I normally use a different bronzer. I would totally use this again.I used the Tapered Brush to apply blush because I did not have a designated blush brush in this set and wanted to use as many brushes as I could. I normally use an Elf Cosmetics blush brush for this. I got a great color payoff, though i had to work a little more to disburse the product due to smaller brush. I may test this brush with a different function, including the suggested buffing of concealer, though it seems a bit large for that.I used the precision crease brush to highlight, which normally I would use an Elf concealer buffer or Moda fan brush for. I actually got a great result, it just took a bit of extra time due to the smaller size, which again is a user issue, not a brush. I actually bet that the tapered brush I used for blush would be perfect for this. I want to note that I normally use my fingers with this specific highlighter if I do not use the Elf concealer brush, because it has a fairly cream-to-powder consistency that does not play nice with a fan brush.I was over all very impressed with the brushes. They are exceptionally soft and fluffy, I had NO color fall out from my eyeshadow and no bristles fell out and adhered to my face like I often see with budget brushes. The only major downfall and reason I cannot give a full 5 stars is that there is a very strong chemical scent when you open these that takes a while to dissipate. I would definitely buy these again, and I would be curious to try other products from this brand.

  3. Good For The Money. For the price, I will say, this set is worth it. For me, being new to makeup, this works very well in getting me used to brushes and giving me an idea of what to use each one for, what my preferences are, and giving me ideas for what brushes I’d like for the future. They’re in a very nice case, they were packaged very well when they arrived. So far, I haven’t had any strands come loose. They have done an excellent job spreading the product without interrupting other layers on my face, and without scratching me. I have sensitive skin so that is an accomplishment in my book. They don’t absorb too much product, but they do a good job picking up product from the pan. I definitely like them, would suggest and repurchase!

  4. 2nd pair bought. I am trying to learn how to be more make-up conscious at my age and salt and pepper hair color, so I’ve been investing in good brushes and learning what I should stop doing and what I should be focusing on due to this face change. I researched a lot and didn’t want to spend a lot of money since I’m investing in good make-up. Much of what I’ve never used when I was younger. I’ve bought two sets of the same brushes and would again. They wash/clean up well. I’m still learning what each brush is used for.

  5. so good. i have a bad habit of just buying new makeup brushes instead of washing the ones i have…oops. these are really nice for the money and are soft and work very well. i would definitely recommend these to someone starting out with makeup or someone who wants a good set of brushes without paying $100+

  6. BUY ASAP. I’ve had these brushes for almost a year now & they are still intact! I have purchased so many brush sets and these are the best ones!! All brushes are soft and they have every brush you’ll ever need! Such good quality & so inexpensive, I definitely recommend!!😍😍

  7. Very nice brush set. These brushes are very nice and a great bargain for the price. They have the same feel as far more expensive luxury brand brushes. When I opened them they did have an odor, which was quickly and easily removed as I washed them with a trusted makeup brush soap and warm water. (***Washing any brushes, sponges, beauty blenders, etc should always be done before using them and to keep your face and them clean and free of germs and to prevent and remove bacteria that could cause breakouts as well as numerous other skin conditions) These brushes did not shed or lose more than 5 bristles out if the entire set even while washing. I have washed them several times now and am extremely pleased with the way they clean up, their performance, and that they still feel and look the same as they did when they were new(minus the odor). I have plans to purchase a couple more sets to put in to gifts for a couple family members and friends and maybe a couple more sets for my own personal use.

  8. Good quality, especially for the price point. I unknowingly ordered this brand before on Amazon about 6 or 7 years ago, and got so much use out of them over the years, and they held up to time and heavy usage like a champ. I just tried these put today, and for the second time, they definitely did not disappoint. They are large, plushy soft, but still dense where it counts to hold the product in the heads while doing your makeup.i really like the flat face brush and the eye shadow brushes are great!

  12. My new favorite brushes. All I can say is HOLY COW!! These brushes are amazing! Especially for under $20. Yes, they do have a weird smell when first opened but goes away after first use. I’m a 45 year old female with dry skin, enlarged pores and sun spots from years of baking in the sun in the 90’s. USE YOUR SUNSCREEN KIDS!! These brushes are so soft that they made makeup application a dream. They literally helped my skin achieve a smooth filtered look while covering sun spots. I compare these brushes to my BK beauty brushes and honestly I might like these more. Don’t hesitate, just buy this set. You’ll be happy you did!

  13. Amazing. Amazing set of quality brushes for an unbeatable valuable!!! They are so soft and so cute! And I love the container it comes in. 10/10 recommend!!

  14. Very decent for the price. The bristles are really soft. They’re not as sturdy as I’d like them to be, but they still do the job. They’re really pretty. I love the color and there’s such a variety of them. The back of the box has a pic and close up of every brush, tells its name, and what it’’so best used for so I really liked that. I think it’s a good little starter brush set.

  15. She likes comfort March 8, 2024 at 12:00 am

Great quality. Modern brush shapes. I work in a famous beauty store and look at everything. Brushes are expensive. This set is fabulous. The softness. The brush shapes. The way the bristles blend products. I enjoy using them daily. Others have mentioned the chemical smell.I put them in the bathroom with the lid off overnight. You can unwrap each beautifully wrapped brush for better release of the chemical smell. I am very sensitive to smells and this is fine, to me after airing them out.I’m very happy with this set and considering additional brushes for my collection from this brand. Money well spent.
