good product but time consuming application and lack of ingredients information. I know this gold flakes stuff is not a gimmick as I’ve seen it in other beauty and skincare products and I do believe it does have its benefits. It just becomes slightly more expensive once you add that ingredient into the skincare product. I did like the serum and thought it was nice and moisturizing. It is always important how the serum or cream feels on my skin after applying, and I am happy to report that it does not make your face feel sticky or tacky. My skin also did not have any irritation or negative reaction to this product. I do have to warn that there is retinol in the product, as that is an ingredient I personally try to avoid. I don’t have the most sensitive skin, luckily, but I still want to avoid skin irritants. There was no ingredients list on the bottle of the serum or the box, as I was looking all over for that information. I might think twice about applying had I seen the ingredients list beforehand, but I went ahead and used it anyway as I didn’t think something like this would have retinol. Prior to writing this review I did some research and had to goto their website to find the ingredients list, as I was intrigued. It was a bit of a hassle to do this myself. This is one that will require a little bit more of your time from mixing this to applying it on your face. As a new mom I don’t really have time or the patience to give myself an hour to relax while this mask works its magic. I can only do a mask like this when I’m at a spa and know that I have the next hour or so completely open. The jelly mask does not have the ingredients list either.My overall complaint about these products is the lack of ingredients information. The information is out there, it just takes a little more effort to look for it. However, the consumer shouldn’t have to be researching for this information. This is not a bad product but both items (jelly mask and the serum + gold sheets) is one of those time consuming products to apply. I don’t have a lot of “time off” right now and just can’t commit to a product like this. When my little one is a little older and doesn’t need to be watched like a hawk anymore, I might come back and revisit these products. For now I will just use the serum as it is.

Highly effective, but highly priced | BRÜUN 24K Pure Gold Leaf Face Mask Treatment. I’m going to say right off the bat that this product does work and do a beautiful job. Gorgeous skin is an easy result.I’ve tested a LOT of Avery Rose’s products and am now in the process of testing a lot of the BRUUN by Avery Rose products as well. Avery Rose skincare is a pretty solid K-brand that is accessibly priced for home use. BRUUN appears to be the luxury line geared towards professionals, event-level results, or individuals who buy big when it comes to skin care.Many reviewers rated this poorly because of its packaging and mixing instructions, but for professional skincare products that’s not unusual. Multipart mixing is really popular right now because it provides for a lack of activation- meaning a longer shelf life for the product since it’s not degrading inside of a container just waiting to be opened. A lot of jelly masks are packaged this way.As for the price, well. 24k gold skincare is not cheap. It’s unsurprising that this product takes on a price point of over $50 – gold is currently nearly $60 per gram. That being said, gold skincare is priceless to some – for your wedding, your daughter’s quince, your parents’ anniversary, it’s a great way to take 10 years off of your face for a limited time, but enough time to get beautiful pictures.I did manage to get two uses out of the kit. I probably did use too thin of an application on both uses (which were only 2 days apart; used it for my cousin’s wedding weekend) but I still got phenomenal results both times. I first used it on a Thursday afternoon for the rehearsal dinner that night, and my skin still looked positively radiant and glowing for the wedding on Friday. By Saturday I saw my results fading, so I smeared on the last bit I had left and had great skin for the remainder of the trip Saturday and Sunday. I do take good care of my skin on a regular basis already, so the fact that I saw even more improvement in those few days says to me this stuff really really works – and it would be tremendously beneficial especially for someone who doesn’t normally use skin care products and would be able to really notice the difference.Overall my impression of this product is that it’s an easy five star rating. If you’re irritated by a three second mixing process and a multistep facial, then honey, modern skincare in general isn’t gonna be for you. I do 12 steps on my face every single night so swirling something in a bowl and applying in steps isn’t gonna deter me from applying a product that’s going to take 10 years off of my face almost immediately. The price here is steep, but if you’re considering using this for an event or major life milestone treat, JUST DO IT!! You’ll be happy with your results I think (keeping in mind this isn’t surgery, so you’ll see an improvement in tightness and plumpness but you aren’t going to come out looking like Ariana Grande) and if nothing else, you can get some really good grams for your social media. Recommended for skincare enthusiasts, anyone using this product to prepare for a significant event, and/or professionals who can use the product on a client who is prepared to pay for a 24k gold facial.

Unique experience, and my skin seems to love it, but is it truly cruelty-free? Who knows. Well, this is an experience! Different from any other skin mask I have ever used, that’s for sure. It features 24 karat gold, which I guess must be good for your skin? Honestly, I’m not sure, and I don’t know if I believe the gold could be dermatologically beneficial, but the mask itself definitely feels great! It seems to leave my skin looking softer, clearer, and brighter, which I love, obviously. There’s enough here for up to three separate applications, and it’s all beautifully packaged, ready for gift-giving. Unfortunately, though, while BRÜUN claims their products are cruelty-free, I haven’t been able to corroborate that claim anywhere else. I wish they’d work with Leaping Bunny or some other certification organization so that shoppers might feel might confident in supporting this company without worrying about funding the unnecessary torture of endless animal tests. Until that happens, I can’t really recommend this product.
