Consistent results = happy pup and owner. My vet told me that having a dog that is overweight is one of the leading causes of a shortened lifespan. This scared me. I also own a Labrador, a breed that has no “off” button for eating like some others.After a long hunt for a dog food that works for weight control and general health management, I can happily say my lab is now 10 and is still in great health. Many people are impressed with how “young” she still acts.Don’t expect amazing results without strict portion control and watching that you don’t give them too many unhealthy treats during the day (or worse–table scraps!).Also, the good dose of glucosamine for the joints is great, and you can tell its quality by the fact that it smells somewhat like something humans could even eat (funny to think about, but makes me feel better! :).Thank you Blue Buffalo for helping me keep my pup healthy and trim up until now and hopefully for several more years! 🙂
I am a reacuer, have multiple breeds. All my doggies, extra large and small, old and young love this product, skin and hair are wonderful, digestion is perfect , they eat with appetite.2 Saint Bernards, one German Shepherd , 7 medium/large Terriers of all sorts.Price and quality are perfect for me as a Rescuer loving all of them.
Worth the buy. Bought this dog food when our lab started vomiting every night after eating her normal dog food. When i got the dog food i could not believe how good it looked compared to our normal dog food( purina). It did not look as dry and dusty as the other. She absolutely loves at. Since starting her on this there has been no more vomiting. It is pricey compared to purina but you can easliy tell the differnce in quality.
Perfect for our Boston Terrier. Our pup has been eating this for years. She is allergic to poultry which is in just about every dog food and treat out there so this lamb formula was a god send. Add a splash of water and 10 seconds in the microwave and she just devours the bowl. Would highly recommend for athletic/lean dogs with specific diets. We love Blue Buffalo!
Makes a difference. I have a pitbull with very intense skin allergies, and I found that switching her to this dog food cleared up almost all of her problems. It was like night and day she was more energetic. Her skin looked great. Her coat was beautiful definitely worth every cent and more.

Great ingredients, low protein, fair price. I like that it’s low protein. I have an 18 yr. old and needs to be on a low protein for her kidneys. The food that the vet recommends is Hills and the #1 ingredient is corn… so stupid. My dogs are small and wouldn’t eat it at first, but I just blend up some low protein treats or boiled chicken and top it off. The only thing I wish is for a velcro to seal the package off to keep it fresh. I have to pour it in an old food bag that has one, which is kind of annoying because it spills all over the floor while trying to poor it in the other. Please update your bag to keep it fresh! Otherwise, I’m super happy that my dogs eat it and its healthy. I’m now on autoship.

Quality dog food and not too expensive. We have two miniature Yorkies that are part of our family, we always want to do and buy the best we can for them. They both eat this food very well and it doesn’t bother their little tummies, highly recommend.
