Great Food – However. Our dogs love this food and it seems to be good for them.However:We’ve been getting a lot of dented cans lately and not just ones on the outer edges of the case. The one in this photo is from the middle of the case while most of the other cans on the outside were not dented, especially not this bad. So I can only presume that this can was damaged before it ever left the plant.Also, the quality control doesn’t seem to be as good as I’d expect from Blue Buffalo. Some cases are nice firm food while others are almost so liquid that you can almost pour the food out of the can. And we’ve had a few cans that were only about 3/4 full.If it weren’t that our dogs love this food we would be looking for something else, and we might do that anyway.

Works for my Senior. My 14-year-old chihuahua has a notoriously sensitive stomach and almost no teeth to work with. I’ve been giving him this food for a couple of years now and it’s perfect for him. He’s had a lot less stomach issues and accidents, and it’s very soft and easy for him to eat. I spread it on a lick mat and he still practically inhales the stuff, he just loves it and gets so excited for every meal. All dogs are different and others might not enjoy/tolerate this food as well, but if your dog sounds similar to mine, I would at least give it a try.I’ve ordered this food from Amazon, Chewy, PetSmart, and Petco at different times and I’ve noticed no difference in quality. No shipping issues or problems with Amazon so far, but I expect to be buying this food for a long time still (he’s a healthy old man), so I will update this review if I experience issues with future shipments.

Great for our older dog. Our 15y.o. Westie is doing really well on this food. Several years ago he had gut surgery for a blockage so we try to take it easy on his digestive system. He is thriving on the food. We supplement it with Cosequin —good coat and joint health.

We buy this regularly. The dogs love it. Consistent product that our dogs love. We put a tablespoon on top of the dog food each morning. No stomach issues, they go crazy for it.

Great food for seniors. I have a 14yr old border collie who’s developed a sensitive stomach and the food is not only super great for her stomach, but she loves it.Highly recommend for any dog with stomach issues

Packaging and Condition of Product. Two cans are completely dented and cannot even sit flat in my cabinets. Honestly pretty disappointed upon opening the package today to find the labels on the cans in the condition they are as if they are a year old, and MULTIPLE cans that are dented. I am inclined to toss these before giving these to my dog.

Dogs like it. Limited ingredient is much healthier for dogs

Great for 16 y/o maltipoo. Our senior dog loves it. He has dementia and a weak body, but he lives for eating and this is one of his favorites.

She loves it but why are the cans not full. We had used Blue for a long time but for a while everyone was on people food (diabetes) or rx food (pancreatitis and kidney issues). All I have left is this girl and she has Cushing’s and sketchy kidney and liver values. The vet recommended cooking for her but keeping about 40-50% of her diet dog food to make sure she is getting the proper nutrients. She gets chicken breasts, pumpkin, green beans, egg whites, occasionally blueberries or pineapple, some dry Rx kibble and this every meal. A little buffet for This Heifer. Weird though that the food is not filling the can. Two cases and they’re the same. Like I said, we used to use Blue religiously, and I have never seen their cans not full. It makes me wonder if this empty space could harbor bacteria?
