Great Battery Powered Camera. So, originally I was gonna shell out some money to go with a ring system. I needed four cameras with floodlights, and a doorbell camera. Right before hitting submit, my husband’s coworker friend told us to wait and look up the Blink system. I am VERY glad he stopped us. For one thing, this was at least $400+ dollars cheaper than Ring’s bundle. I wasn’t going to be able to grab a doorbell cam from Ring until later because adding one on was more than the budget I had. With Blink’s pricetag, I could get the doorbell camera and still be saving $400+.For another, I wasn’t sure how bright Ring’s lights would be. The coworker said they weren’t very bright, bright enough for the camera to have somewhat of a night vision, but not enough to do what I wanted, which was shine a light on the area the camera is pointed at. Blink’s lights are very obvious on the camera, and they’re very bright without being ridiculously so. It helps me out a ton at night in my back yard to see my porch, my steps, and any toys my son decided to leave as traps in my path. Don’t know why he does this seeing as how I use a cane and a wheelchair sometimes. Maybe he’s trying to give me one of those obstacle course challenges! They are also very responsive. The whole thing was so easy to set up and I love how they included multiple ways to attach the cameras to your home. I needed to use the siding clips for most of my house, but I did have to buy a hammer drill, masonry bits, and brick screws to mount one of the cameras to the front of my house that is all bricks. The app is really easy to use and allowed me to easily put my doorbell camera and my front camera on the same sync module, and then turn on only the doorbell camera as the front one still needed to be mounted. It also allowed me to block out the street in front of my house as my neighbors driving to their houses would set off the motion detection. Not a lot as I live on a short cul-de-sac, but still enough to be annoying. That was very easy to do with their zone option. The camera quality is SO GOOD too. MUCH better than Ring’s in my opinion. Especially at night. I looked at a video of a friend’s night time Ring camera that detected motion and you could BARELY make out the form of a bunny hopping past. My camera picks up those bunnies and squirrels at night clear as day. It’s really cool to be able to see the animals move around at night and they don’t set off the camera unless they’re on or immediately around my back deck. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this camera system brand. You won’t be disappointed!

True wireless camera. Clear video and responsive motion sensor. Flood light is really bright. The provided clip makes it easy to install on the siding. I had a problem with the cable from flood light that connects to the camera. Because its thick on the gasket the flood light doesn’t connect to the camera. I have to cut the rubber cable seal, reinstall and add some duct tape to ensure that its waterproof.
Easy Install & Great Lighting. Floodlight was easy to install w/ mount and screws. Being wireless I could put it anywhere outside of my home. Placed it above the garage. Provides great lighting and the ability to change brightness and length of time light is on if motion is present. Camera can be angled, so I was also able to place it under the roof. Dislike:batteries. I wish there was a solar panel connection. But it still works really grwat. Its been a week and the batteries continue to be nice and strong. You can also check the status of the batteries. Always a plus! Great lighting and recording of video footage with outdoor camera.
Love. We love the floodlight. Easily adjust angles, brightness, schedule, etc. It’s super easy to install. We’ve had 1 for over a year and added another one, because of how much we love the one we have.
Easy installation and set up even for two seniors. ADT priced themselves out of our business. They wanted $1000 to update our current ADT system when it stopped working. Did some research and went with Blink. A little trial and eerror when first setting up but then it was a breeze. Picture quality is excellent. Using it over driveway.
Security Solution for Your Driveway. I recently purchased the Blink Flood Lights and Camera for my driveway, and it has proven to be a reliable and cost-effective security solution. Here’s my comprehensive review based on my experience:Installation (5/5): The installation process was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly Blink app. The step-by-step instructions provided on the app made the setup incredibly easy to follow. Even for someone like me who isn’t particularly tech-savvy, the process was straightforward and hassle-free. It’s a huge plus for those who prefer a DIY approach without the need for professional installation.Performance (4/5): The camera’s performance is impressive overall. It captures clear and crisp footage, providing a sense of security for my driveway. The flood lights are bright and effectively illuminate the area, acting as a deterrent to potential intruders. However, there have been instances where the motion sensor didn’t trigger as expected. This occasional glitch is a minor drawback, but it’s something to be aware of.Motion Sensing (3/5): While the motion sensing feature generally works well, there were a few instances when it failed to detect motion. This inconsistency is a slight concern, and I hope it can be addressed through future updates. Despite this, the camera’s other features and the peace of mind it offers make it a worthwhile investment.Affordability (5/5): One of the standout features of the Blink Flood Lights and Camera is its affordability. I managed to snag it at a discounted price, and considering the level of security it provides, it’s undoubtedly a bang for the buck. The quality and functionality you get for the price make it an excellent value.Overall Impression (4/5): In conclusion, the Blink Flood Lights and Camera are a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance the security of their driveway. The ease of installation, coupled with the affordable price, makes it a practical solution for homeowners. Despite occasional hiccups with the motion sensor, the overall performance and peace of mind it offers make it a purchase I don’t regret. If you’re looking for a cost-effective security camera with easy installation, the Blink Flood Lights and Camera is a worthy contender.

Great floodlight. I actually have a wired floodlight over my front stoop, but can never seem to get the thing to turn off and only come on when it senses motion. It seems like it’s either always on or always off at night. And I’ve replaced the unit a couple of times with different ones, so I decided to invest in a Blink flood light. Even though it is battery operated, I do like that it works in concert with the Blink camera and the motion zones you can set up. So realistically, the flood light does not come on unless my camera is actually sensing motion. So we even though it is battery operated it has only come on a couple of times over the course of a couple of days. And I live on a very busy city street that’s treated like a speedway and has a decent amount of pedestrian traffic. I actually sat and timed my wired light….it would trigger every couple of minutes even with nothing there so it was just weird.I’m really happy with the Blink flood light. I would just encourage use of motion trigger zones…..that’ll help on how often it really comes on.
Easy install. Overall probably a 4.5. Easy install on a pergola post in the back yard. Don’t forget to remove the plastic insert so the lights come on… I was too busy to read that instruction having put up multiple other Blink cameras. Blink is OK as a system, images are good enough but the reaction time seems a little slow sometimes missing the action (also having a VPN on my iPhone delays receipt of the action) other times being triggered a little too easily (leaves vs a human body). Distance is not a strong point but 10 yards seems to provide an adequate image that police could use. The talk feature works well.
Great. No issues camera worked perfectly. The fog lights work perfectly. Definitely helps light up the driveway of my Airbnb to let me see what’s going on when I’m not close by. Connected really easily and has good sound quality.
Poor quality. I purchased this light in 2022. It no longer works due to corrosion on the connection to the camera. Tried to clean it but it did not help. Would like a replacement.

Quality of camera. Blink helps with setup. The camera does an excellent job. The lights need adjusting to each persons specs though.
