DO NOT BUY IT. The media could not be loaded. blenderDear Amazon customer,I utterly ask you NOT to commit to the same rookie mistake I have done.See, since the price was unbeatable, I decided to challenge all the horrible reviews this product has. All the other decent blenders would cost me at least $15 more, and this one happened to be on sale. And I, naively, thought to myself: “well, why not, it can’t be that bad, right?”; except that, yes, it can be that bad.As a matter of fact, I dare say this is single-handedly the worst blender I ever had the dissatisfaction to encounter in my life. Words cannot describe the displeasure in my heart when I unpacked it from its box and tried to assemble it. That is why I highly recommend you watching the videos attached to this review. But believe me, I am trying my best to describe it and be convincent, as I do not want you to go through the same pain as me. I am determined to warn as many people as possible, whilst I go through the tortuous process of returning this appliance and buying a new one.Looking from afar it does not look that flawed. The problem begins when one finishes assembling it. The pitcher does not assemble to the blender’s body. It simply does not have a locking system, as all blenders I have used in my entire life; it is simply placed on the body, which means that when you turn the blender on, it dances. I did not have the audacity to turn it on having it filled. I understand one can hold the blender while it blends, though I am asking myself who does that.The lid is apparently air sealed, and it is impossible to close or open without applying an Herculean strenght. Which means that if you try to remove it with the pitcher still on the blender, the lid will not come out, but the jar will. This is the perfect combo for a kitchen nightmare.I have to be honest, the last time I got a blender was probably more than a decade ago, and it was of a questionable quality, thus extremely unexpensive. Now, I assumed this Black&Decker would be at least comparable to the old one. But no, it is worse. It is a crime what they are charging for this product, as if it is cost a Dollar would be considered too costly.Anyway, I hope this review helped. Do yourself a favor and spend some extra bucks buying a better blender. Or don’t and buy a really cheap one, it is less likely you will be dissatisfied.
Powerful. This is a great blender and very powerful. I will be able to count on it for many of my mixes, smoothies, etc and certain recipes. Great fund and price. Buy it without hesitation!
Just like my older one. I really liked my old blender and was crushed when I broke the container. Was so glad to see that the new one works just as well as my old one.
Decent Basic Blender. Bought to make Iced lattes from frozen, semi-thawed milk, brewed then frozen espresso (in ice cube trays) , and a powered latte mix. Yum! And since I just freeze the ingredients beforehand, no need to add ice cubes 🧊.I don’t really like fruit smoothies or puréed foods, well, except for butternut squash soup maybe I’ll give that a go in the blender this winter. It’s loud, but it is a blender chopping up ice, so expected. Good basic blender. Not sure if I need all the extra buttons for varying speeds. Who knows maybe it will come in handy if I try and get creative cooking something that needs it down the road.

BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a Black & Decker 10 speed blender on Nov, 24 from Amazon and on January 10, precisely a month and 2 weeks, the blender stopped working. I used it about 6 times in total. The blender I had prior to this one lasted for over 3 years. (Not Black and decker) I called black & decker and reported the issue, they sent me an email requested more information to process a replacement like proof of purchase, address etc which I sent. They said they would send me an email when the product ships. I waited 3 business days without a response so I called back to get an update. They transfered me and the attendant who answered the phone under Spectrum home appliances, I told them I called Black & decker and they said “this is it” so I gave them the reference # and the name of the attendant from my previous correspondence but they told me that there’s no trace of such activity. He started over and processed my complaint, then told me that I must send $7.50 cents to cover the shipping cost for the replacement item. He sent an email to that effect. Since the return window to Amazon is still open, they suggested that I either pay forthe shipping cost or return it back to Amazon. This does not sound like a company that stands by their products. What happened to the 1 year warrantee? “Easier said than done”. When I called Black and decker, I heard a voice say” This is Black and decker, We have your back” I find that very difficult to believe. BUYER BEWARE!

Great value for the price. This item is easy to use, has 10 speeds, and operates well. My only issue is that it is noisy and you have to hold on to it when mixing (lots of movement). However this is no problem, it is a great value for the price.

Works great for smoothies. I love this little blender, my kids and I make smoothies and frappes with it all the time. This blender works great to blend ice smoothly and make creamy milkshakes. It is simple to use, there’s a pulse, and hi/lo speeds. The blades are really sharp too. It all comes apart so it’s really easy to clean.

Loud but effective. Everyone in a 5 mile radius will know you’re making a smoothee because of how loud this blender is but it’s price and effectiveness makes it well worth it. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and and has that classic look we all know and love.
