Good & comfortable-to-hold refillable pencil. This is a fine set of 4 mechanical pencils that can be refilled with 0.7mm lead, which is considered a medium point and is good for most uses and for most kids. It’s also #2 HB lead, which means it’s equivalent to a wooden #2 pencil and could be used on a bubble test that requires #2 pencils.HB means Hard Black, which means the lead is hard and the pencil mark is black. There are harder and softer pencil leads, and there are lighter and darker pencil leads. This particular 0.7 could be considered medium and utilitarian in all ways.The pencil is comfortable to hold. The lead point is NOT retractable (most mechanical pencils are not retractable in the way that many ballpoint pens are). It’s also a good thing that it comes with 5 extra erasers because they are an odd size, imo. My other mechanical pencils all use what I thought was a standard size 1/4 inch diameter eraser. This BIC Velocity pencil uses a noticeably smaller 3/8th inch diameter eraser. There is also a clear, pop on/off, cap on the eraser for reasons unknown to me.
Love these pencils. I only use these. They are great quality and inexpensive. I now buy them in bulk bc I lose and break things often. Perfect if you want comfort and quality but don’t want to worry about losing your pencil.

#2 and smooth writing. The eraser is super small but doesn’t wear out fast. The writing is dark and medium point.
