Good standard brush if you’re not sure what to get. For the price, I was happy with this purchase. It’s easy to clean and works well. My cat doesn’t mind it so far (with accompanying training methods).My only complaint is the bristles are too stiff (causing me to need to be more careful than I typically need to with pet brushes), and it seems to change the texture of my cat’s fur (albeit only for a day or two). My cat has dense, smooth, short hair. Brushing with this brush causes it to be a little frizzy (but not by a lot) but also to have a bit of a rough texture. I’m almost tempted to try some kind of cat conditioner on her after I use it lol Perhaps a different material for the bristles would work better? Idk, but it’s something I’ll keep in mind the next time I need to get a new brush, though — if I’m trying to find something quick because I don’t feel like digging through reviews and types of brushes, I’ll definitely get this one again.That said, it removes the hair pretty effectively (not perfect, but it’s shedding season, so there’s more than usual to deal with)
My two cats’ review of this brush. I can’t translate for them, obviously, and their review doesn’t come in ‘meow’ mode as much as it does for me to tell you I may have to buy a second one. The younger one (the daughter) loves this so much, from the moment I wake up in the morning until she goes to sleep, she’s following me with a clear message to let me know “Please? More brushing!!!” Her mother, the older one of course, seems to be jealous and lets the younger one know it’s her brush too.I know that sounds funny, but I promise it’s true. The younger one is nearing her 4th birthday, and she had finally moved into heat some months before I got the brush. The brush actually helps her coat to shine and feel silkier, but it also calms her so she can relax and be quite content. Since the first day I started using it on her, she has purred her way from the first stroke to the last.The younger one, born feral, and her mom moved in 4 years ago after the mother had been abandoned by her previous owner. Spunky, demanding, she let me know quite clearly how she expected things done around here. Since she ‘met’ the brush, she’s been in absolute bliss!On my side, the brush is truly easy to clean, to handle and to use, and it’s manufactured in a way to let me know I don’t have to worry about brushing too hard. And the younger one is *so* into the brush, when she wants to concentrate on the head, she shows me by ‘smushing’ her head, the back of her head and both sides of her face onto the gentle bristles. From the first stroke to the last, her constant purr is pure joy to hear and reassures me that she really does enjoy it!Btw, from *my* perspective, I’m especially impressed with the size of the brush head. It’s rectangular and at least twice as large as the old brush was, covering more room without being too large for the younger one. The size is perfect even for her little body, allowing me to brush one side completely with each stroke. In short, compared to several others I’ve tried, this one has them all beat!

Great for Cattle Dogs. I have two Australian cattle dogs. Both have medium length hair with a shorter undercoat.One has wavy hair and this brush is perfect for her. It’s the only one I use for her. A furminator doesn’t move through her wavy hair very good.My other dog has straight hair. This brush is good to use on him first to get the tangles out, then use the furminator to really get thr hair out. This one doesn’t get all his undercoat, but using it to get the tangles out really helps the furminator do a better job without pulling on him so hard. He also is a pansy and has sensitive skin, so I like how the bristles on this one are coated. Both dogs enjoy how this one feels.Quality seems decent. So far I’ve only brushed each one of them once. The button on it works really well so far.

Great low cost grooming brush fro dogs, not the ideal. I got this slicker brush as it was one of the cheapest online and it had fairly good reviews. After all, it is just a slicker brush with a simple self-clean mechanism and it is a basic grooming need.After a few uses, I was fairly satisfied. I have a lab puppy so she does not have very long hair but a dense coat. She likes it when I brush and it helps untangle fur and bring shine (due to the release of natural oils !).Cons: As for use, I found the handle to be slippery as it is just plastic. I also think the teeth could have been a bit dense as it okay job for dogs to breed but left gaps in combed areas. I am not complaining as it is still worth the money. I will be investing in better products later but keep using it for now
Boris has never looked better. I bought this brush for my teddy bear who has Sherpa fur. I’ve had him a long while so he has become very well loved and matted. I looked up ways to revive Sherpa fabric and a brush like this was one of the solutions, so I decided to give it a go. I could not be happier with the result! He looks so much happier now, brighter even. He doesn’t necessarily look new, but definitely better. My only complaint with the brush is the bristles got caught under the cleaning pedal so I had to break it off the fix it. Other than that it’s great!
Better for longer hair. I got this for my two pitbulls who shed quite a bit. I was hoping this would get out some of the loose hair. It didn’t do very much but get some dandruff out. It would definitely be more effective for dogs with longer hair. I’m going to try it on the bunny next, if she will let me.
Great brush for short hair cats. I love using the brush on my cats to reduce their shedding. It works really quickly, and it’s honestly gross how much hair this baby gets out! I find that my cats even enjoy getting brushed with it because the bristles are gentle but effective. I love that you can just press the button the remove the hair and do it all over again. One thing to be careful about it not pressing the button all the way, because the bristles can come lose and then they don’t line up when you collapse the brush again. But this is easy to avoid and the brush works great otherwise. It is so affordable and works better on short haired animals than some other brushes do. One of my favorite pet purchases!
Works and the cost is fine. I can’t say this product has last me years, I’ve used it one day. It worked for me and my pup and it worked great. Not fluffing and I’m not getting paid to waste my life writing this. It’s a simple tool for a simple job, but it means the world to me and my pup. Its good. Period.
As said. I love this style of brush and when I couldn’t find mine at home, I decided to order another. Works very well, and the coated ends make for a less scratched surface. The easy release to rid the brush of hair is great for quick clean up.

Amazing. Best brush I’ve used on my dog. It makes him super fluffy, and the little nibs on the end provide a bit more comfort then the version that you see without. The surface area is also really nice!The cleaning mechanism is really great and easy to use, and doesn’t feel flimsy.
A great and easy brush. My cat likes the brush and it not having sharp ends makes everything easier the self cleaning part is easy and makes disposal of hair easy I just click I into the trash can and put it away for the next use. Would reccomened
