Cute little thing that works wonderfully. I love to cook at home, and rice is often on the menu. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a rice cooker, and this budget-friendly find has been a kitchen lifesaver. Measuring and cooking in a stove-top pot just never seems to give me the fluffy results I’m trying for.It’s so simple to use, even for an amateur chef like me. Just pop the rice in, add water, press a button, and it’s cooking away. Rather than using electronics that can fail over time, it uses an electromagnetic induction type scientific mechanical method to determine exactly when all the water has been absorbed into the rice. Convenient. My 14 year old ate rice almost every day for 2 weeks after we bought this. She felt it was super easy to use and a breeze to clean. I like it because it doesn’t take up a whole bunch of space when it’s put away. You can use it to make plain rice or even the prepackaged flavored rice. Once she felt comfortable using it, she started adding fresh and frozen veggies to it before cooking.
Works great. This is the third one of these I’ve purchased. It’s my second and I bought one as a gift. The first one I had was dropped and dented, so the steam let came out. So easy to use! We eat brown rice & it turns out perfect everytime. To think I spent decades doing it the old fashioned way, making it too soft, too crunchy and burning pots. Rice gookers are good for all grains!
Simple and effective, price is right. This is not a high end rice cooker but it does the job – it is easy to clean, easy to use – one button on or off) and it comes with useful tools. It cooks rice to perfection and the rice pan is non stick so far. The price is right. I like it.

For such a price this is a great appliance, we’ve literally stop using pots to cook rice. this is very useful and it’s easy to assemble. the pot itself cleans easily and to be honest it does a great job at cooking the rice. Rice doesn’t stick to bottom either. Definitely a great purchase
Decent for the price. This rice cooker seems to cook the rice perfectly.It would be nice to have an external timer so the use knows it is done, but the cooker does turn off when done.
Can’t beat it for the price. Simplicity is amazing, cook time is great, rice comes out very well. These things are worth the slight water spew and extra effort to clean the lids creases. Overall a 5 star product for the price.
Nice size and so easy. I purchased this for my daughter who is Asian and is learning to cook! At 17 she wanted a rice cooker and this one works well. Easy and great directions for use. Really easy clean up and the rice turns out as desired!!! High recommend.

Steamer basket prevents boiling over. This is the most adorable little rice cooker and makes good rice but it is flawed. It boils over easily and makes a huge mess. The instructions don’t mention this, but it really helps if you use the steamer basket, even if it’s empty. It adds height and breaks up the bubbles. A bit of water will still come out the spout but not as big a mess.

Perfection in Every Grain. I have been a housewife for over 60 years, and in that time I’ve made a lot of rice and you’d think I’d be able to make perfect rice; but no. I’ve tried steaming, boiling, pilaf and risotto and the cooking results were hit or miss-either mushy, crunchy or burned. But since I started using this dandy little and reasonably priced rice cooker, the Aroma Housewares One Touch Rice Cooker, the rice cooks perfectly every time whether it is balsamic, jasmine, brown, or long-grain rice. It makes no difference; the rice is perfectly cooked. The rice cooker is easy to use and clean and comes with its own measuring cup (I have the 6-cup cooker) and spatula. Just be sure to rinse the rice before using to remove the excess starch. At first I stored the rice cooker in the pantry, but now that I use it so often, especially to make make poke bowls, it has a prominent place on my counter. I highly recommend this rice cooker for cooking perfect rice every time.
