Perfect size and easy to use/clean. The media could not be loaded. This is going to be perfect for me. I received it yesterday and cleaned it and read all the instructions and used it today for the 1st time.I made quinoa and I used mostly bone broth and some water To the specifications listed in the little booklet… 1 part grain and 1 1⁄2 parts liquid. It overflowed. Quinoa and broth all over the counter and it was still a little too moist for my preference So I left it on warm for another 15 or 20 minutes as the instructions suggest and it was perfect. The clean up of the bowl and lid were very easy and I will try it again in a couple of days when I need to make more – using less of both grain and liquid. It could very well deserve 5 stars but since my 1st go was a little messy I’ll have to rerate it once I figure it out.UPDATE: I used the measuring cup provided again and tried it with brown rice and it overflowed again. It is actually spitting at me now. 😆 Still think it’s going to be right for me but I will use smaller quantities of rice and liquid than recommended
Easy to use, super cute and compact. Like everyone else and their mother, I wanted to give meal prep a go and try to eat a bit healthier. At fist, I was gonna be lazy and go the instant rice route but then … why bother meal prep if I’m not making better choices about using processed crap right!?Queue the perky and petite Aroma rice cooker. Super easy to follow directions…just made a big pot of rice and my first meal prep is complete! Definitely going to be using this lil sucker often 😉
Makes more than just rice. I got this to easily make rice, but since it’s just me, I needed something a little more compact! My rice comes out perfect every single time and I like how it turns completely off and still keeps the rice warm in case I don’t wanna eat it right away. For the price you can’t go wrong! I discovered this also makes more than just rice. I also steamed vegetables in here. And I’ve even made chicken! Super quick and simple to use. I love this thing!
Game Changer. I am a converted stove top rice cook. I submitted to the technological ease of a rice cooker over 4 years ago and haven’t gone back. Practically comes out perfectly fluffy or adequately sticky based on what I want to achieve. I like to use add-ins like frozen mixed veggies to create versatile rice dishes . Coconut milk, raisins and spices are all game changers.I actually became a rice cooker gifter. You Get A Rice Cooker! You Get A Rice Cooker!
Super cute and versatile. My old rice cooker just stopped working and since it’s only my husband and I, I opted for this smaller rice pot and it works so well. Cooks rice to perfection and you can warm up leftovers in it and make soups and stews. It is really easy to clean, cooks quickly, and fits well in my small kitchen
Wow…first time making rice in cooker. The media could not be loaded. This pink rice cooker is cute and small. I only need enough rice made for two people and thought this would work and the price was great. I decided to sr it today…I made sure to use the rice cup that came with the cooker not an 8oz cup. I rinsed my dry rice 5 times before putting it in the pot for the cooker. Filled the pot to the 1cup line in the pot. Placed lid on and started the cooker. As you see in the video, it spewed water as other reviewers also stated. I will try again, maybe with another type of rice to see if this happens every time. Other than that, this was very easy, rice came out perfect and it didn’t take long. The warm light came on when the rice was done. No sticking to the bottom of the pot either. I’m happy with it, but really don’t like it if water is going to come out each time. I goggled why this would occur and got several answers, one being you need to rinse your rice first, which I did. Another answer said if you don’t have a licking lid, water will come out…this lid does not lock. Who knows for sure, but I’ll keep working on this to see if I can get a non mess version of rice.
READ BEFORE BUYING, Learn from me. So, I’ve grown up with rice cookers my whole life. I’m familiar with using them, I know how they work, but when I first got this one, I had a bunch of issues with it. Every time I cooked rice in it, it would bubble and spill over like crazy making for messy clean up every use. It became super annoying but turns out the rice I was using was the issue. The rice I eat required an extra half cup of water which would make the rice bubble over each time. I cooked my rice with the same amount of water as the rice measured out to be (1 cup rice = 1 cup water) and boom, problem solved. Rice tasted fine, exactly the same. The rice cooker is great, albeit a bit smaller than I imagined but that’s my fault for not looking at the dimensions closely. Perfect for me living alone and eating rice with every meal. Cooks fast, easy clean up with a bit of soaking. I would get again if I live alone, but would definitely size up if I live with others.
Works perfectly. Great price. I finally invested in a rice cooker and this was a great choice. It could not be easier to use and the rice comes out perfect every time.
Simple, Reliable, and Perfect for Everyday Use. The Aroma Housewares Rice & Grain Cooker has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen, especially for daily use. Its compact size is ideal for smaller meals, perfectly cooking 2 to 4 cups of rice without taking up much space on the counter. Whether you’re making rice, soups, or even chili, this little cooker handles it all with ease. What really stands out for me is the simplicity of the one-touch operation. It’s as easy as pressing a button, making it ideal for kids to use too. The automatic Warm mode is a great feature, ensuring that the rice stays ready until you’re ready to eat. No more worrying about overcooking or having to babysit the pot—this cooker makes life easier. The nonstick inner pot is a breeze to clean, and the tempered glass lid lets you keep an eye on your food without lifting the lid and losing heat. It’s also incredibly versatile; besides rice, we’ve used it to make soups and even jambalaya. The included rice measuring cup and serving spatula are handy, especially when portioning out servings. The small footprint of this cooker makes it perfect for a dorm room, small kitchen, or for those who don’t need to cook large quantities of rice. It’s light, easy to store, and has quickly become one of our most-used appliances.Overall, this rice cooker is super easy to use, easy to clean, and reliable for daily use. It’s an excellent product for families, students, or anyone looking for a simple, effective way to cook rice and more. Highly recommended!
I can finally cook rice well. I used to avoid cooking rice because on the stove it always took too long or I’d have issues with the texture and rice came out too dry or wet. After buying this, I can finally make delicious rice! I keep craving it and this cooker makes it delicious every time. Rice gets cooked in a good amount of time (I’ve put timers and it takes 20-25 min, maybe more if you’re loading it up with rice) and it’s perfect for a few servings (yeah, best for one or two people). I’m very glad I bought this and can finally enjoy meals with rice.
