They work as long as it’s not a lot of pee fast. I got there for my baby so I could lay them down to change her. They work good and keep my surface clean for the most part but I did have one time where she peed alot on it while her diaper was off and it ran off the side so I had a mess to clean up. That has only happened once thou and theu are wonderful for if she had a blow out and I don’t want to get what I’m changing her on dirty.
They get the job done in a pinch. Bought these to cover for when we are in between orders of our main pads, and they get the job done, but have leaked through a couple of times when our dog goes heavy in the middle of the night. She’s older and can’t control her bladder that well. But I also don’t expect these to perform as well as the other pads we use, despite the fact that they cost less per unit. These are your basic, run of the mill dog pads. Most of the time they get the job done just fine as long as you change them quickly enough. 2 pees is about the time to change them.
The little flaps on the side. The little flaps on the side that fold out are like velcrowd to the pad. You gotta really loosen them up but then they kinda want to go back that way and not lay flat. It’s not a super big deal as I layer then and that helps keep the sides down but I don’t really like having to loosen them for every pad, both sides everytime I need one. That’s my only issue with these.
Lay flat and now stuffing to pull out. I buy boxes of these every year. I’ve raised puppies for 20 years and these are the best I’ve used. They lay flat, and have no stuffing in them that the puppies can ingest if they decide to tear them apart. Because they lay so flat and I put them in a potty pad holder the puppies usually leave them be until they are about at the age it is time to go home. If they learn to pull them out of the holders to play tug of war I just duct tape the corners onto the holders and they can really scratch and try their best but usually can not shred the pads.
Update // has no sticky tape. Has no sticky tape!!! That makes no sense! Update: absorbency/leak proof has proven to be good, but have a puppy 8wk so maybe that changes if you have a big dog as others mentioned. The flaps are annoyingly flipping back up (as others mentioned) and because no sticky tapes the sheet/flaps doesn’t stay in place which just makes no sense. The dog seems to like those better than the first ones I bought, he goes finds it rather faster/better with success. So I changed my rating from 2 to 4 because of leak proof and success but the sticky tape is a star off and is truly disappointing! Please Amazon upgrade those!
