Basics and works great. Overall this is a great buy, Cost is on perfect for what you get and the coffee maker comes with a basket for your grounds which is easy to use and wash as well as it does brew fairly quickly.The downsides of this maker are the cord could be roughly 8 to 10 inches longer and be warned that the coffee maker does NOT automatically cut off at any point. This means that if you forget to cut it off in the morning you will have nice hot burned coffee that evening when you return home. Overall this is a great product for the price I would personally like to see an automatic shut off after let’s say an hour or 2 just for safety reasons and a little bit longer of a power cord.
Slow Brew times. Design is very ergonomic & lightweight. Price is very reasonable. Easy to pour water into the back. Uses a standard coffee filter if you don’t like the basket.It takes about one and a half minutes to brew a cup of coffee. If you want to grab a cup before it’s done, it always seems to drip some coffee. Space for carafe under basket is a little higher than standard.
It Works Fine. Verdict – It makes coffee. I like a few cups fresh and early, and the size is right. The first thing I did was put some plastic bumpers on the bottom so it doesn’t skitter around like crazy. I had the now unavailable Basics one, and it started leaking – so this is a replacement after 3+ years heavy usage. The price is right! – – My friend’s nearly $60 5-cup shorted out in less than a year. I’ll stick with this. Great Basic Coffee Pot. This does just what I need it to do, but next time I order a coffee maker I will look for an automatic shut off.
Definitely an Amazon’s Choice. Our first time ordering this model.It’s sturdy, measure lines are clearly listed on both sides of the carafe, and “cooks” up in a minute.By the time I opened the blinds and curtains around our house, a cup is ready to pour.My only gripe is that the cord is super stiff so it makes moving the pot on the counter difficult.Nice purchase!
Its basic. It makes coffee.1) the power switch is on the side and requires a force to toggle the switch that is exceeds the force needed to move the fully loaded coffee maker across the counter. The switch should be mounted so the force applied is downward thus the coffee maker wouldn’t move.2) The handle of the pot is hollow, which gives it strength for the material used. It also collects water if mounted upside down in the dishwasher. I a short time you will be trained to turn it right side up so the water stays in the dishwasher.3) the impatient plug (so you can pour coffee before the brew is finished) is too stiff or the inner assembly doesn’t always seat properly, and sometimes doesn’t open when the pot is in place. This results in the coffee flowing back into the water reservoir of the coffee maker and not the pot.4) heat pad keeps coffee at the brew temperature and doesn’t lower, resulting in toasted coffee if you don’t switch off when it finishes brewing. I was spoiled by my old coffee maker which had a lower temperature.Not a bad buy. We all have our faults.

Affordable and flawlessly brews coffee. The coffee maker works flawlessly. I’m very happy with it’s performance. I am concerned though that it is made with plastic. How safe is it to use? Works so far, but I will look into glass, or stainless steel options.
Basic coffee pot. Just your basic drip brew coffee pot. Nothing fancy about it. Just what I was looking for. Little flimsy but works just fine.
I love this thing. Idk what kind of cups yall drink but this thing is perfectly 2 cups which is more than enough. I honestly love it. It’s all you need for an affordable price. It’s not arbitrarily marked up 10-20 dollars like other bare bone coffee makers. If you like simple and effective this is the one. Even after turning it off the pot stays warm for awhile which is nice. It doesn’t leak, and honestly pretty sturdy. I’d say be careful putting your hand over the vent on top to open it if you’re trying to pre load your next pot the steam is steaming! Haha otherwise this things awesome. If it ever dies which I doubt will be anytime soon I’m getting this exact one.

I love this fits in small spaces and makes a fantastic tasting coffee every morning without fail. Cost wise it’s worth it and perfect for a small brew for one person. I like have the option to make more coffee if I want to for guests but it’s perfect for smaller batches too.

Good deal. Nothing terribly wrong. Other than the power cord being quite short, this little coffee maker meets my expectations. The top snaps into place. The hot water drips onto the coffee through a conduit that runs up through the top rather than through a flimsy swing-arm that can easily break. This amazon basics coffee maker has no unnecessary electronic features. It’s simple. And it did not smell like burnt plastic the first time I used it. I recently bought one of the name-brand coffee makers and all these things I mentioned were wrong. This amazon basics coffee maker is cheaper and better.
Great, but no so great for Café au lait. I love this coffee maker, but I also like milk in my coffee. I also like hot coffee. Coffee so hot that it’s almost too hot to drink. Yet, with this maker, I have to heat the milk before putting it into the coffee or it’s not hot. It’s so cool that I could drink it quickly, as it’s not even as hot as hot tap water.So, if you like milk in your coffee and don’t want to heat it, you might want to consider another coffee maker.
Who needs starbucks. This coffee maker is so simple yet perfect. It is perfect for a single person or couple. Not only does it save me money but it is also environmentally safe because of the built in filter.
