A real “back-saver”. We have a huge yard with lots of trees, so we deal with tons of leaves, twigs and gumballs. We have a yard rake that attaches to the back of our riding lawnmower, but it still requires picking up the piles of leaves. I used to do it with the circular hand rakes which I thought were great, but that still requires bending over dozens of times and it was hard on my back. When I ran across this garden rake, I knew I had to try it and I’m so glad I did! It is a total game changer!! I had a ton of leaves that had piled up against the house and around the patio furniture over the winter months and was not looking forward to raking and picking up all those leaves. This awesome garden tool picked it up in no time with very little effort! I was able to easily reach into difficult-to-access places and pull out leaves, scoop them up and bag them. No more backbreaking bending over dozens and dozens of times to scoop up leaves!

Makes light work of leaf raking. I love this rake! It is a rake and leaf scooper in one. I can rake leaves, use the jaws to scoop them up, and put them into a leaf bag in one motion without needing to stop or bend over. It turns what would normally be a one-hour job into 15 – 30 minutes of work. The locking feature is very convenient if you have already captured leaves in the rake’s jaws but need to open a leaf bag and don’t want to lose any of the leaves you have already collected. The rake is very sturdy, and I am able to rake the leaves in the road in front of my home without breaking any teeth.

what a disappointment. I wanted to like this. It looked like a great invention… and it is. However, the hinge was a joke. In the first scoop, the two halves separated. I gave it a second try. This time, I read the instructions putting it together carefully, figuring I missed something. Nope. The hooks of the hinge fit into the catches only one way. Once reassembled, I picked up a clump of leaves and tried to hoist it into the wheelbarrow. this time, the slide handle pinched my finger as it came apart. Ok, the instructions said if you had trouble or needed information on how to put it together, go to the website, which I did. All that was there was an ad for the rake. The website gave no additional info. I found one picture while surfing around that showed the rake with a metal bar to lock the hingle of the jaws together. Wonderful idea! I searched the net in vain, thinking maybe Amazon was selling a counterfeit or an older model. No such luck. I never did find one with a better hingle. It’s a shame. The tool, if it worked, would be a wonderful addition to my tool shed. As it is, I am back to using a flat snow shovel, which by the way does an ok job. I use a toy rake to hold the leaves to the shovel as I hoist the leaves. It works fairly well that way. Still, If the company would ever listen to these bad Amazon reviews, perhaps they would wise up and fix the issues before they go out of business. Other people had problems with the handle screw breaking off in the stem of the claw. They need to make that out of steel, aluminum, or at least a better grade of plastic. For almost $50 I would expect a more better product. Sad comment on this company.

excellent piece of equipment. it was easy to assemble. takes some getting used to. but after a few times it works ok. its slightly on the flimsy side and could use some minor reinforcement improvements. but otherwise it is a great tool. i bought it for my 83 yr old mother who insists on doing her own yard work. and she is totally happy with it. great buy, great price. you won’t regret it.

Works as advertised, I am ordering my third one. Why , because they break. The rake is a great help for picking up leaf piles, you don’t have to bend down nearly as much. But, Thye are made of plastic and they break at the pivot clips. That’s it, if at least that pivot clip were made of steel or some type of metal, they would be even better.

Great yard tool. This is a great tool. This is actually a replacement for the one we have been using, that finally broke. But we have used it for years and it’s so much better than breaking your back to pick up leaves. I cannot imaging doing yard work without this! We have a magnolia tree in the front and oak trees in the back and this does it all with no trouble! Highly recommend!!!
