2nd time used and it is now scratched. At first, I really liked this and it’s small size.But, the 2nd time I used it, I scratched the cooking surface making a grilled cheese sandwich, with a butter knife. It now has a 4″ scratch right down to the metal. Very disappointed with it because of that. I find it hard to believe how easy it was to scratch in todays world. Most non-stick cooking surfaces are very hard to scratch. If you buy this, I highly recommend that you NEVER use any metal utensil with it.Only use wood or plastic. Of course, that now means that every time I cook on it, I will now have 2 dirty utensils, one metal to spread butter, etc. and a second plastic one to remove the sandwich from it.Also, normal sized bread is slightly too big for it. In trying to rotate the sandwich so that all of it was evenly toasted is how I scratched it.I don’t know if you can return a scratched appliance like this to Amazon.

LIFESAVER. So I am actually living in a hotel and have the smallest refrigerator ever of course. I have no stove or no way to cook so I bought this hoping that the reviews were correct. And that could at least make an omelet or a Burger, and this thing is fantastic. As you can see from the picture above. I made the omelet and then I did have to kind of flip it over and then put the top back down so we can kind of get the little nice kind of toasty parts, but it worked amazing. It has pork sausage, bacon, kilbasa, onions, and green peppers and 2 eggs.

Smaller than described. Smaller than described. Sandwich bread barely fits. Hinges are flimsy. No heat control. Wouldn’t buy it again.

Not perfect, but nice. It’s a little smaller than I expected. That image of 2 side by side sandwiches ain’t happening with normal sandwich style bread. Larger artisan bread fits a single if you don’t build too thickGrills 4 hot dogs, or half a pack at a time perfectlyCleans up nice and easy

Good Sandwich maker. This sandwich maker is really good , it’s small so it’s great for an office , the only thing I did not like at first was the smell but it went away after I washed it like twice.

Compact, fast, and efficient. Just needed/wanted a press to make sandwiches or pressed cuban bread in the morning and this is just perfect. Does not take up much space…about the size of my hand, but enough space for a large slice of cuban bread or 1 (maybe 2) sandwiches. Heats up quickly and does the trick. Great deal for the price. Unplug and a quick wipe down and done!
