Great coverage, buildable, length and volume. I use this mascara (along with the primer before hand). I do like how it extends my lashes and maybe even curls them a little bit? What I don’t like is that it’s not all natural. I have used all natural products for the last seven or eight years, but have been unhappy with my mascara options. I went against what I normally do and bought this and it works really well. I just wish that I could find one that works. Well that is also more natural! I don’t normally wear makeup other than eyeliner and perhaps a tinted lip balm. Hope this helps.
Economical Mascara. I like this mascara as it is easy to apply and stays where I put it, it doesn’t smudge throughout the day and removes easily with makeup remover at night. I have tried other brands and always seem to come back to L’Oreal when I don’t like the other mascara after trying it out.
THE BEST. I love this mascara! It lengthens my lashes sooo much, doesn’t get clumpy, and holds the curl all day. It is kinda hard to take off so u need a good makeup remover. If I shower with out trying to take off my mascara first, when I get out it looks like my mascara wasn’t even touched at all when I wash my face, no smudging really.BUY IT!
No flaking or smudging. This is a very reasonably priced product that I have been using for approximately two weeks. It darkens and thickens my lashes in 2 quick coats and never smudges or flakes.
It’s ok. I like how easily it goes on. I like that it’s waterproof. Somehow, I usually have to wipe some off from my skin after application. It flakes off during the day.
Great for thin lashes, I always come back. I’ve been using this mascara for 4+ years, and no matter what other products I try (around this price range) I always come back to this one. Other mascaras always clump, or are too wet, and most have wands that either provide poor distribution, or will completely flatten and not mold back when you blot them. This mascara is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t do that. I abuse the crap out of it when I use it, too. I scrape the excess mascara off the wand back into the top of the tube, then I blot/wipe more excess and reshape the wand with a tissue, apply, and repeat as needed. The wand always reshapes, and covers and separates my lashes. I have blonde, long, thin, lashes, and the way this separates makes them look fuller-especially compared to other mascaras. I’ll continue to try other products only if they’re a cheaper price with rave reviews. Otherwise, this remains a consistent win with me.
It’s the tops, although I didn’t order. Thank you , Amazon! Somehow I tried to return this item I had not ordered but was told to enjoy it, which I have! I used to wear nothing but Revlon Voluminous Mascara and it was lovely to return to my old favorite – without having ordered it! However it happened, I recommend this mascara above all others and thank Amazon for their understanding and letting me keep it!🙂
This has to be the best mascara ever. I’ve been using this mascara for more than a decade. I try other mascaras but always come back to this one. The price is right and the product is perfect. I just bought an Estēe Lauder mascara, pricy too. It didnt wear as well as this one. I sleep with mascara on and this is the best one for that. Doesn’t smear, ever!
Lovely Lash Application plus specks. I really like this item and the pretty gold container. It is comfortable to hold while using the mascara. It is the best mascara I have used.Unfortunately, the gold on the container flakes off and often shows up on my face in tiny specks that show up out in public and are hard to get off.Despite that I will buy this again and find some way to avoid the gold specks.
Been using for over 8 years. This is the only mascara I use. I’ve tried other big brands just to explore but I always revert back to this! My lashes are fairly short and thin and this makes me look like I’m wearing natural-looking fake lashes. The brush is perfect because it stretches the natural lash while coating the semi-thick mascara beautifully
If you want to stand out buy this mascara. I love this L’Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara in Cobalt Blue. It’s easy to apply and coats well. You get volume and length with every swipe. As far as the color, I have very dark lashes and in bright light or sunlight they were a bright blue. I was as the dentist and my dental hygienist was raving about how great my lashes looked. She was especially surprised because the mascara cover my dark lashes turning them a radiant blue. If you have lighter eyelashes I’m sure your lashes would be practically glowing. Haha.I am very happy with the looks I get whilst wearing it. The mascara is quite easy to remove with either a makeup remover cloth, wash cloth or just soap and water.I’ve also used L’Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara in carbon black but I’d like to try the deep burgundy.I hope this review was helpful. Keep batting your lashes in any color.
Lash building qualities. I have tried many different mascaras over the years, both waterproof and water soluble. With waterproof mascaras, removal can be challenging even with eye make up remover. And, when it does smudge, it’s a difficult to remove the smudge. With water soluble mascara, smudging, and running can occur easily. Although, clean up is also easy.However, with L’Oréal’s Voluminous Mascara, I get the desired fullness and length of my lashes without the smudging and removal is simple with either soap and water or eye makeup remover. Also, with L’Oreal’s Voluminous, two simple coats give the much desired look of thicker, fuller, longer, believable lashes.From time to time, I have experimented with other mascaras thinking maybe something new and improved has come to market. But, I have yet to finish a full tube before I return to L’Oreal‘s Voluminous satisfying results.I have recommended this product to friends and family over the years. Each has been satisfied and repurchased.
The BEST mascara. I love this mascara and have done since the 90s. The color payoff is great except for the deep purple and the green which just look black. After a entire day of wear the bottom lash does flake a bit but it’s not terrible; I’ve considered using a primer for my bottom lashes but the flaking is so minimal I just check the bathroom mirror and go on my way. What I love is that this mascara (basically) stays all day but still comes off easily with washing. The brush is nice and the formula curls my lashes for me and it’s cheap to buy. I’ve purchased every color and, even as I age, it’s nice to wear some fun makeup that’s not blitzed with glitter or neon.
One of THE most Volumizing drugstore mascaras on the market. I have been purchasing this mascara for over 10 years. So when I tell you I have tried TONS of volumizing mascaras, I’m not kidding you when I say this one beats them all. When you open a fresh one, it is not as thick on the lashes. Give it a couple of weeks, and it dries a little in the tube, and that’s when the magic happens on your lashes! It is DARK and my curl stays after curling my lashes. If this mascara ever gets discontinues, I will cry 🙂
