Find the included measuring cup and fill with water to the 50 mL line. It is very important that this measuring is accurate to ensure proper cooking of the egg. Pour the water in the Eggpod. Next, place 4 eggs into the Eggpod and replace the top lid and lock side snaps in place. Cook eggs in the microwave on high for 9 minutes.

One of my favorite cooking tools in my kitchen. Seriously folks, I love this thing. It works exactly as advertised. Follow the instructions and you should have no problem. I actually bought 2 of them. One for home, a second to use in our restaurant kitchen in the Caribbean. We live on a small island and most of what we serve in our restaurant is local grown, raised, or caught in our waters. Because our eggs are so fresh they are difficult to peel when hardboiled. They say fresh eggs should be steamed to easily remove the shell. This egg pod is brilliant! 10 mins in the microwave, and when cooled, the shells peel right off! It’s been a huge time saver for us, not to mention it leaves us with an entire egg, not bits of it due to the white pulling away with the shell. I recommend this to anyone who hard boiles eggs on a regular basis. I especially recommend it for anyone using farm fresh eggs.With that said, my only complaint is that the aluminum insert on the lid does not hold in place well. Im always having to reinsert it.Anyway, its a great egg cooker, especially for the money. I suggest you give it a try. Oh, be sure to use it according to the directions! As someone before me posted, the size of the egg does matter. If I leave the cooker in the microwave longer than 11 mins, it over heats. Follow the suggested times in the instructions.Another writer posted problems getting bits and pieces of shell out of the bottom section if you use the shake method. Well, simply tug on the yellow ring and remove the bottom metal dish to clean it out. Once its clean simply snap it back into place. I clean mine after every use!
Don’t buy cheaper models. I bought a cheap model of an egg cooker. My dad always said “You get what you pay for”. I got what I paid for. The cheaper model came with no instructions, except to fill with water to the line. I looked and looked but could not find a water line. The Emson Egg Cooker works fantastic. Because I have an 1100 watt microwave, I change the power level to 90% or 80%. I cook for 8 minutes. The Emson Egg cooker came with a water container that lets me know exactly how much water I should add. It came with Detailed instructions. What a difference. I threw the cheaper model away, since I had 4 eggs explode in it. This did not happen with the Emson Egg Cooker. I love my Emson Egg cooker and, being on a low carb diet, find hard boiled eggs easy to make often. (Also, I do not almost burn my house down by cooking eggs on a stove. This did happen twice.) Emson Egg Cooker well worth the money!
Quite the clever item. We received this egg pod as a gift. Originally, we rolled our eyes, then stored it to use as a “White Elephant” gift for next Christmas. One day, we saw it on the back shelf and decided to try it out. We love it! It makes perfect hard boiled eggs, every time. We’re glad we didn’t get rid of it. Now, not only are we keeping it, we are gifting others with these great little pods as well. (Go figure!)
Great product. Worked exactly as promised. Putting ice water on the eggs after you open it makes peeling them perfect. The first time I used mine I didn’t let the eggs get nice and cool and it tore one of the eggs apart pretty bad. Second batch was perfect and the shells just fell off after I shook it up good. Just wish it would hold more eggs at one time.

Perfect hard boiled eggs. I had been trying different ways of boiling eggs. Boiling for different times, air fryer, additives to the water. I always ended with chunks of egg in the trash. This egg pod makes perfect, consistent and easy to peel eggs. I would recommend it to everybody who enjoys a hard boiled egg.
Boiled eggs are perfect every time. As I am in a nursing home, anything I can prepare in my own room, helps me out tremendously. Meals aren’t always what I want at the time so, this gives me other options. It cooks them perfectly every single time!

Not perfect, but neither am I. A friend told me about these, and what sold me on them was her saying that she fixed boiled eggs and her house didn’t stink. I ordered one that day. She told the truth! We can now enjoy boiled eggs more often. My only problem with it is that sometimes the yolks aren’t quite done after the recommended time. That’s a small drawback for a gadget that keeps the house from smelling like boiled eggs. I would buy it again if I needed to, but I can’t imagine that anything will break.
What a gem to find. I actually saw this Egg Cooker at a family members house. I used it and was so impressed that it worked as it said it would that I bought one. Egg shells come off so easily and the egg whites aren’t damaged. Finally have beautiful looking deviled eggs!
