| Directions | Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 115 g of Pro Plan. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. FEEDING WEANING PUPS Start puppies on dry or moistened Pro Plan as early as they begin to nibble at solid foods, generally 3 - 4 weeks of age. FEEDING GROWING PUPS Feed pups (to six months of age) all of the moistened Pro Plan they will consume at intervals throughout the day. If fed dry, Pro Plan may be kept before pups at all times. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION Pro Plan provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's ideal body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. |

Only dog food I’ve used for years. This dog food has been the only thing I have fed for years. Between our local pet supply shop and Amazon it’s been a staple at our home.I have it on my Amazon subscription list, and with a few exceptions, it is always delivered on time. The issue is that this is large and heavy. It typically comes poorly packaged and about a quarter of the time the box is busted open with the bag spilling out. About half of those bags have developed holes and have dog food pouring out of them.One one occasion the delivery driver didn’t put the box inside my screened in porch and raccoons were having Thanksgiving dinner when I came home from work that day.The dog food itself is great, but delivering it presents its own challenges.
Top dog food. This product has been around since 1986. And now is one of the largest selling brands for top AKC show dogs. They offer rewards to save money. Purina pro club.
My dog loves it. We have been using this brand since we got our dog as a puppy four years ago. He eats it well. Our dog is happy, healthy and has a beautiful coat.
Great product, but had to cancel auto ship. My dogs loved the food. Sadly this is the only item for whatever reason is shipped via USPS vs our normal Amazon driver, bless our mailman’s heart as he’s elderly (looks like he’s in his late 60’s- 70’s) and no way in hell could he lift this 48lbs bag. For this reason alone I’m canceling my subscription and ordering through Chewy for $2 more and I get a 50lbs bag and it doesn’t come via USPS.

High quality dog food. We had our dog on random dog food for the first year of life (kibble, puppy chow, etc.) and by the time she turned one she was visibly too thin (ribs were showing) even though she had 24/7 access to food and water. After doing some research, we decided to put her on 30/20 dog food, and chose Purina Pro Plan. Not only did she love the taste, it worked wonders to help her gain the weight she needed. She’s a medium sized dog (pitbull) and has nice muscle tone. This dog food does not disappoint! It’s never caused any sort of tummy issues, and though it’s quite expensive in comparison to the random brands we used to buy, it’s well worth the money. A 48 pound bag lasts around 3 months. Plain appearance, but that’s not a concern for us.
Great deal and convenient. Super convenient getting this delivered. Both dogs love the food.Delivery is amusing too. Mine gets shipped in a box that can fit a small coffin.

they love it. I have 2 girl Cane Corso who love this food. They seem to be satisfied with less, I am thinking it has fewer fillers. Their muscle tone has increased without getting fat, their coat has also increased in sheen.

Good product. My two-year old English Setter loves this. Her coat is healthy and shines. I will continue to use this until she reaches the age of seven at which time I will switch to another Pro Plan product. Pro Plan is the best for us!

Good nutrition for our dog. We like the protein and fat ratio in this food. Our dog likes it. She’s ten and a half years old and hunts and plays like a much younger dog. It’s reasonably priced and easy to order.
