My picky dog LOVES THIS FOOD! Thank God and Nutro ;). I had tried a few different brands for my dog, some that were much more expensive, ones that ‘seemed’ healthier or organic. My dog would look at the food, sniff it and walk away. I tried adding in squash, real chicken breast, meal mixers, organic chicken broth etc. He would literally pick the dog food out and put it on the floor next to his dish and eat only what he wanted of the mix ins.I brought him to the vet and while he was otherwise healthy the vet said he was a little too thin. I felt absolutely terrible! So finally after doing some research online I found Nutro.It seemed to have good ingredients which was very important to me and had good reviews from other pet owners.First I started him off on the wet food only (he loved that) but I wanted him to also get the benefits for his teeth eating dry food so I’d mix the wet and dry together, he loved that. One day I had ran out of the wet food and only had the dry. I figured he’d probably sniff it and walk away. To my surprise he ate the dry food no problem! He has now been eating the regular Nutro kibble with no wet ingredients everyday for the past 2 months. I’m so happy as I love to see him happy and it saves us money so he can get more toys! Lol.His last visit to the vet, the doctor was so impressed with his perfect weight, shiny coat and clean teeth!If you have a picky eater give Nutro a try!
The smartest Yorkies love Nutro. My 6 year old Yorkie has been eating Nutro his entire life. He eats it just as it comes from the bag, dry. That makes it convenient for me. That also means it can sit in his dish for days, which it often does, since he only eats occasionally and even then does not eat a lot. He appears to enjoy it when he does eat, and he is in good health overall.
My Pup is healthy & loves it. I have a 3 year old 9.5lb HavaPoo and he has been on Nutro Small Breed since he came off his puppy food. He is healthy, perfect weight, and the vet says he is in tip top shape. He is a little bulldozer and loves to play and this good gives him the nutrition and energy to play all day – with his daytime naps in between of course! I feed him a heaping ¼C 2x a day, morning and dinner time with just a few crunchy natural dog treats throughout the day. And because the food is low bulk and formulated specifically for small breeds, you get more bang for your buck, so the price isn’t off setting. My little guy deserves the best nutrition and he loves the flavor too. Highly recommend!

Only kind we buy. We have been using Nutro for small breeds for years. Our dog just loves it and he is healthy and in great shape.
Cautious Optimism. Our corgi has an occasional tummy issue. We use Purina Pro Plan but recently ordered Nutro. We mixed this brand with Pro Plan. So far so good. Like the smaller pellets. Reviews from Consumers Affairs got bad reviews, however, these reviews are from discontented people only. Amazon had favorable comments and Chewy customers were 4.7 out of five. We do add small amounts of canned dog food. So far, thing are going fine for her.

No Byproducts. I love this dog food. Yes you will be paying a little more than other dog food. But you are paying for a better dog food for your pet. It has no byproduct s. My dog was shedding, badly ,year around with her other dog food. Once I switched to Nutro she only sheds a little during the shedding season.
My dog loves this food. This is my first time trying this brand of dog food and so far my pug loves it. He eats his food so fast and actually enjoys it. I’m glad I change to this brand. Also like that it’s non gmo and the ingredients is way better then the other brand I was using. Only thing i dislike is that it’s expensive for this little 5lb bag. Definitely will buy again next month.
Good choice. We have been getting this brand for a while now, for our 2 smaller dogs. They love it and seems to do well for their overall health and no digestive issues. And it so far has cleaner ingredients than other brands

Nutro senior dog food. The size of the kibble is perfect for a 10lb. or less dog. The food is for senikrs but Nutro has several products to pick from.
