  1. I’m adding to my original review below…I’ve worn the dark grey ones for a few months and the size is perfect. I ordered the all black ones to have another pair but the style is a bit different and they are a snugger fit. Still awesome, but I recommend going up a size if you are buying the all black style. I will be returning them and purchasing the next size. I’ve been a barefoot distance runner for years running in the Merrel Trail and Vapour Gloves. They changed the design and fit of those shoes and they were no longer comfortable. After I broke a bone in my foot, I feared barefoot running was over for me.I decided to give these a try as they seemed to offer a touch of extra padding under the big toe (where my injury was), while still maintaining a barefoot feel. I found them true to size with extra room in the toe box…which is necessary when barefoot running as your toes need ample room to splay naturally without feeling confined. This was an amazing feature compared to the Merrel barefoot shoes which are VERY narrow. They are very much a barefoot shoe but offer a slight amount of cushion under the big toe and heel which make your feet very happy. They are breathable and don’t smell at all. I recommend airing them out after each run…meaning don’t keep them sealed in a gym bag or cupboard and you won’t have any issues. I have never worn socks (which you shouldn’t in barefoot shoes) and have accumulated about 150 miles worth of running in them in the last 4 months. They don’t smell AT ALL and they look brand new! I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve never gotten a blister or formed calluses as I have in other barefoot shoes. The interior is nice and soft. The price point is the cherry on top! Half the price of other barefoot shoes on the market!!I’m buying another pair to add to my collection.Don’t hesitate to buy these because they are inexpensive, they are a quality and comfortable barefoot shoe!!Happy running!!

  2. Love these shoes. Mindful/Careful transition is important. Ordered these in August 2022 to begin the transition to minimalist running. I’ve had plantar fasciitis pain since my teens, and prescription orthotics weren’t fixing anything. Wanted to see what would happen if I stopped treating my feet like lifeless balls of flesh that I stomp around on. Not a podiatrist, just sharing experience.Size and durability:I wear 7.5/8 when it comes to dress shoes and 8/8.5 when it comes to running shoes. My first pair was 7.5/8 and I decided to go a little bigger (8.5) for my second pair. I run approximately 3x per week for 2-3 miles each time. The first pair I wore from august to early January. The second pair I started wearing in early January and am still wearing for runs now (early may). I think I will likely keep my current pair for longer than I kept the first since the fit is better. I will often randomly wear these to work as well where I’m often on my feet for a large percentage of the day. Current pair still looking great. I will probably order a fresh pair for when I go to Europe since I plan to walk several miles each day and would prefer some extra cushioning (it wears down a bit over time). Background:I started to read in summer 2022 about the benefits of toe spreading, gentle ground contact, losing “arch support”, and strengthening the whole foot. I stopped buying running shoes and decided to transition to zero drop using these. As I transitioned, I continued to use my regular hack around shoes for the day-to-day so I wouldn’t snap my Achilles as it started to lengthen back out. With the joomras My runs at first were very short and very slow, and I’d stop at any sign of Achilles pain or any pain that felt like tearing. The hack around shoes that I continued to wear for work were allbirds for context (a little heel but nothing extreme). I think continuing to wear these really helped with the transition, because if I completely transitioned to flat shoes immediately I probably would have torn something. The verdict:I have a super high opinion of these shoes. Once I got a size that felt good (my big toe not touching the top), I was able to implement toe spreading and begin to improve my running. After approximately 8 months I feel almost completely transitioned to flat shoes. My arches never hurt anymore. My feet often hurt—not in a tearing way—but in a “I just worked these muscles” kind of way. It’s a wild and exciting feeling. For awhile I actively was forcing my toes to spread in the shoes. That was really helpful in getting these shoes to work for me. Plus, I found that spreading my toes made my feet more bouncy and allowed me to rely less on the ball footpads and heel of my foot to absorb shock—it feels more like the inner musculature of the foot is absorbing the shock. I’m not a podiatrist, so take this with a grain of salt. Just sharing my experience. My advice. Tread lightly. Transition slowly. Don’t heel slam. Make a conscious effort to spread toes.

  3. Follow the European size. They’ll fit like a glove. BIG EDIT:I’ve worn these exclusively for a CPL weeks since I bought them. I’ve learned my feet aren’t really all that wide, but they are relaxing and now my right shoe is tight. I had to revive the liner bc I have gotten a huge gushy juicy deep deep blister on the outside of my right heel. I’m having a hard time relearning how to walk so I don’t strike my heel as hard. They were great right or if the box. They’re not so great now. They feel fine (except for the pain of stepping on that blister) on our short walks around the complex. When we go on our long walks (the drug and I) we’ve gone on our longest walk the last 2 of the last 3 days. That is 2 miles of walking and these blisters are awful. We’re only walking the 1 mile walk now until I can try this blister handled. I’ve ordered geweo extra wide toe box barefoot minimalist shoes. The box is great and Tommy. The heel was good. They were just a little short. So I’m waiting for the credit of the smaller shoes to buy a half size bigger.Anyway. If your feet won’t spread, these are great. I can’t wear them with my toe spreaders either.END OF UPDATEI’ve worn birks exclusively for the last 6 years and I am tired of the dark dark stripes on my feet all the time. It’s just gross. So I decided to get some sneakers. EVERYBODY goes on about their Skechers. So I ordered Skechers mules bc I was worried abt the backs of shoes ravaging my virgin heels. They were too big. Then I went to a Skechers casual shoe. It was TERRIBLE! I live 3 tenths of a mile to the grocery. I went there in those shoes and had to lay down when I got back. My hips, knees, ankles, and lower back just SCREAMED! That gogamat crap is awful! So Google must have known of my struggles when it sent a vivo barefoot ad and I looked into it. There’s no way I’m dropping $160 for a pair of shoes that won’t last a year again. So I found these. They got here this morning and they are amazing! I immediately wore them on my dog’s mid morning mile long walk. They fit like a glove, they do not chafe or rub anywhere. The only thing I’m not super pleased abt is the back edge of the right side of the right shoe rolls inward when I put the shoe on and they fit so well I have a really hard time getting my finger in there to roll it back up. It takes a lot of effort.I’m a 37eu. Birks said that is 6-6.5. this maker called it a 6.5-7. the label inside says 37 and it’s the best fitting shoe I’ve ever worn. Some of the reviews I read other places and the blogs I read said you needed to build up to wearing these. If you’ve worn birks, there is no need to adjust. I’m guessing it’s just a warning if you’ve come from regular shoes.Buy these!

  6. Very Comfortable. Wore to walk dog a mile downtown and back. Stopped my ankle and toes from hurting. Wore today on 3 mile hike on rough, rocky terrain. Would give this five stars if it had better grip when wet. My hike takes me to cross rocky, sandy water. She still looks great even after swimming with them in a pool of water, at waterfall, but they do get slippery when climbing on wet rocks when soaked. I know, they are not advertised as water shoes but when I hike I have to cross streams and small creeks in Colorado mountains. They are grippy enough on dry rocks so I will keep them. I will just be extra careful when they are wet. They are zero drop and big toe box which improves my balance and keeps me from having back, ankle and toe pain. I bought them used like new and the only issue was they was the part that tightens it had one of the loops unattached where it should have been. I’ll just glue it. It is a small issue for the price and usefulness.

  7. Not for people with a wide width foot. The sneakers are cute and pretty comfortable. I am typically a 6.5 or 7 with pretty wide feet so i got the 37s, but looking back, i think i would go for 38 next time. The toe box would probably feel great to someone with normal width feet, but to me they just feel like normal shoes. I have considered removing the insoles, as they do come out easily, but im very heavy on my feet for a small person, lol. I just wear thin socks with them so my feet dont feel claustrophobic. I also love that the laces are like a bungee, so no tying! And they have velcro to secure them in place. Would definitely recommend, with the caveat of size up one if you have actual wide feet.Update: Came to update after wearing these shoes for several months and to add pictures. I do love these shoes. I do wish i had gone up a size because they’re definitely not wide toe box if you have wide feet. I wear them primarily for gym shoes, and they are great for treadmill and lifting. I love the all white, but i may get a second pair in a larger size too, just so i can confirm my own advice. When i do i will come back and update again!

  8. Great fit for wider feet. I’ve worn these a lot since I got them. They’re comfy and I really do like them a lot, with one exception: They a bit short on the strap that completes the closing for your instep. I have high arches, and these shoes, while perfect for EVERYTHING else, miss a bit on this area. I really do love them for just regular running around, and I even wore them to a concert where we had to trudge through a muddy field and they were great. I didn’t feel my feet get wet and the shoes didn’t slip. They had a great grip and I felt safe and secure (and dry!).Just make the strap a bit longer and they’d be awesome!! The best ever!!

My new holy grail. TLDR: these are now the only shoes I wear!I have mild to moderate bunions and spent 2 years buying, trying on, & returning shoes desperately trying to find shoes to alleviate my foot pain, all to no avail. All of the shoes I tried pushed my big toe further in & exasperated the bunion pain on my big toe.I was hesitant to buy barefoot shoes as I thought it would cause more pain with so little cushion, but I finally took the plunge & bought these. I’m so glad I did!I work on my feet for 8 hours a night, so I really need comfortable shoes. The first full shift I wore these, my entire body hurt, but it stopped when I took the shoes off and my big toe didn’t hurt. The second night was much better. Now that I’m a few weeks in, I can’t imagine not wearing barefoot shoes. My feet feel better, my hip pain is gone, and my back pain is gone! My walking posture and sitting posture feel better as well. I can also put weight on my toes now (I used to keep my toes lifted off the ground more when walking or standing due to bunion pain). The one con for me is that they seem to run a tad bit short. I wear a 7.5 in almost every shoe I own, so bought the 7.5-8. I am unable to wear toe socks to keep my toes separate (bunion thing), but I am able to wear a toe separator on my big toe & thin socks. I think 8.5 would be too big. They are still very comfortable & do not feel too tight, just snug. They are also fairly warm and if they get wet, they take a while to dry out. We’ve been in a drought, but the one time I wore them on a wet surface, they seemed a bit slippery.Still 10/10 would recommend. I’m so glad I found these. I gave away all of my other shoes & am a barefoot convert!

  10. The Best. Maximum comfort! I walked for 5 miles in them yesterday, first day I got them and feet felt great! I really love them they look cute and I highly recommend. I have them in the gray slate color too can’t wait for those to arrive today!!! I’m a 9.5 so I got the 9/9.5 size and it fit great my feet are also wide and there was plenty of room. Very easy to put on. Think I can even wear in the winter with some thick socks and still be warm although the material is very breathable.

  11. My tootsies are happy. Decided to try these reasonably priced shoes after reading good reviews and having already returned 2 pairs of higher priced minimalist shoes. Needless to say, I did not return these. They are cute and different, the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my Barney Rubble feet comfortably (I do have good arches, but my toes don’t like to be squished), lightweight & not bulky around the ankle, the toggle tie is easy-peasy & secure. I walked 5 miles in them the first day, but I also am usually barefoot at home & have worn another (no longer made) brand of barefoot tennies for awhile, so it was perhaps easier for me. I’ve done step aerobics in them and they worked just fine. Some reviews mentioned they are slippery on wet surfaces, but I walked on wet pavement no problem. Wet rocks might be another story. They are still rather new, so I can’t attest to long-term wear & tear. Depending how these do, I see a couple other colors in my future. I did notice that some colors were different style….some had elastic band around the ankle, some had a strap covering the laces. I personally preferred this style. I’m trying to talk my flat-footed husband into giving these a shot.

  12. Great fit & comfort. First, I have narrow feet. Second, I have significant bunions that require a larger toe box. Third, flat feet. Which is why I repeatedly purchase Saucony as they’re true to size, have a larger toe box and never require a break in on my part. My go-to alternative had been Skechers, but support is really lacking and I find them uncomfortable without socks after a few hours due to the inside perimeter structure (ridge/valley) under the toes.THESE SHOES, HOWEVER, may just be a great casual alternative! I slipped them on & it was WOW, HOLY COW, & AHHHHH all rolled into one. Ideally, I’d wear a 10.5 US, if manufacturers didn’t just jump to an 11. I did keep review sizing in consideration, not that there was really another option that wouldn’t have been too big. These are comfortable without socks, but will be roomy enough for a thin sport sock. And, with elastic laces, will remain tight enough without being too tight. Now, my rating may change down the road, as, like other ratings, the arch support isn’t fantastic, yet significantly better than a pair of slippers or dress flats. And the sole, although very flexible, is not as thin as I’d anticipated, but really is as comfortable as walking barefoot. I plan on these for casual use, no hardcore walking/hiking; my days for those activities are done. But, at this time, I believe they’ll fit the bill for running errands and wearing all day.

  13. I’ve had these for 7 months and I love them. These shoes are awesome!! I finally felt like I should leave a review. I’ve had them since March, and I wear these almost daily. I have three pairs now. The grey, pink, and pink & black. The insole they come with feels very uncomfortable/rigid to me, so I replaced it with a softer one which makes them so comfy! They have a nice wide toe box with a decent amount of flex. I’ve ran, hiked, disc golfed, and wore these through the woods of flagstaff. They’re absolutely amazing!!! I never realized how squished my feet were in other shoes until I found these bad boys. The only reason for knocking off a star is because they are not very good in wet weather. Even though the bottom is very grippy feeling, when it comes in contact with water is becomes incredibly slippery. The grips are great for walking over rocks in dry climate though. Mind you, these are barefoot shoes, so you will feel the earth under your feet as you walk. My wool socks even fit comfortably in these. The bottoms of these have not worn much at all which is crazy for how much walking and trails I do. If you’re looking for a shoes that does almost everything, then this is it!

  14. Comfy. I like the shoes. The only problem is they’re not slip resistant. I almost broke my neck and arm when I accidentally walked on a wet smooth surface. These shoes in a slip resistant version would be perfect. Over I have no problems except for that.

  15. Super comfy shoe. These shoes are very comfy and flexible with a wide toe box. They seem fairly well made. My only complaint is that there’s elastic around the ankle which is really tight and uncomfortable and I don’t have big ankles. I’m sure it will keep pebbles out of the shoe which will be helpful but I’ve only had them on 10 minutes and my ankles are already irritated there. It’s a bit more of a slip on sock type shoe than I initially realized when I purchased so be aware that it’s really not adjustable the way a normal sneaker is. I purchased for the gym so I’ll keep them because I’m not planning on wearing for long periods of time but I think the elastic would bother me too much to wear all day

These are AMAZING. I absolutely love these shoes! I have a pair for work (healthcare) and a pair for home. The wide toe box is perfect for my wide feet. I struggle to find wide enough shoes. There is a very minimal arch (basically non-existent) allowing your feet the barefoot feel we’re meant to have. They slip on and you adjust the elastic and secure it in place with the velcro tab. I’m on my feet all day at work and have little to no pain at the end of the day. I love these shoes for being out disc golfing and hiking through all kinds of terrain as well! They have a good sole with grip. The material is more of a mesh, so I am not sure just how waterproof they are. However, in normal use, I have not had wet feet. They’re super comfortable!

Great shoes. I have plantar fascitis and was looking for an affordable zero gravity shoe for walking. The design is cute, is very lightweight and comfortable! It’s a little tight around my ankle because of the elastic, but it’s loosened a bit and more comfortable the more I wear them. This was a good purchase!

Comfy, great looking and sturdy. I like the little tab of velcro on shoe so no more loose shoestring.I wush lower cut shoes bt ankle went a quarter bit lower so it does not rub on that bone under ankle.Overall though i love the prices and quality and fit.

Take a Little While to Get Used To–Then Marvelous. At first, as a Sketchers Arch Support wearer, they were difficult to get used to. I am 75 and have a pronated right foot and weak arches. I thought I’d made a mistake buying them but have discovered that wearing totally supported shoes have emprisioned my feet and made them weaker. The Joomra shoes have a wide enough toe area to wear silicone toe separators!!!! I am thrilled! My left foot toes are crimped and now I can comfortably wear toes separators without pain or sandals. The foot bed now feels to be gently massaging my foot when I walk. Am taking them to Europe with me, but will not use them for long walks on hard pavement because they do not have enough support for me. I use them now around the house and garden, working out, and shopping….Update August 1, 2024: Have been wearing them in Portugal practically every day. I’ve added an additional insole underneath the one that came with the Joomras which has made them so much more comfortable. I can now go on long walks without getting tired feet. One thing I’ve noticed is that my feet are a lot less tense because my toes can spread out now. The hammer toes on my left foot have even started to relax and flatten more.I also like hat I don’t have to lace up the shoes and can just slip them on and then don’t even have to pull the tightening chord to wear them comfortably. They also do not slip on the shiny, worn cobblestones here…. They stay cool, wear well in beach sand, and are easy to clean. I would definitely buy them again. Please note: I am NOT a paid reviewer…I am continuing to update this review because I think it might help others with problem feet.Update Sept. 30, 2024: Just machine washed my Joomras in hot water on a 2 1/2 hr. cycle. They came out looking and smelling great. I wear them every day b/c they are so comfortable. I especially like that they are easy to put on and tighten without having to tie shoelaces. Unfortunately, one of the pull on loops at the heel broke and I will have to sew it back on as it is hanging there. This is not a game changer….Update: Oct 18, 2024: Washed my Joomras a second time and they still look like they just came out of thethe box. I wear them every day now. They remind me of the padded moccasins I loved wearing 60 years ago!Update Oct. 24, 2024; you probably think I’m crazy to keep updating my review…but I just love these Joomra’s so much I want to let everyone know my experience over time. I FORGOT TO NOTE THAT THE JOOMRAS ACTUALLY MAKE MY SIZE 11 N-M FEET LOOK SMALL AND TRENDY. Really, I’m 5’9″ tall and 160lbs …was worried that the size 11 would make my feet look big…like so many shoes I’ve worn. I have “Greek toes” (Big toe longest sloping to a tiny piinky). So nice and roomy even with socks! My feet really relax in them and I feel so grounded!I have read some of the negative reviews, and would agree that they are not the best for running…but walking on a firm surface is great. The extra insole I added underneath the one that came with them have made them super comfortable. They are certainly not like water shoes….they are much more supportive and not floppy or slippy at all….they also do not leak. They are not cheap material…I’ve washed them 2x now on long cycles with very hot water and they still are holding up fine.If I were back in the states I would definitely buy another pair because they are on sale now!December 18, 2024 update: I’m back in the US. There’s snow and ice outside my house in the Catskill woods but I am still wearing my Joomras around the house to keep my feet warm. I have to say that they are vastly more comfortable and durable than my too quickly worn out LL Bean sheepskin lined mocs…that are now threadbare and flat as pancakes. The Joomras are still almost like new. The only thing I am not happy with (as mentioned above) is the pull loop at the heel broke on both…but I did pull too hard I guess…On a final note….I met a woman in Lisbon who told me that the reason she moved to Malaga Spain rather than Portugal is because she had a friend who slipped on the ubiquitous polished pavers and she was terrified of same. I used to slip on them too until I got my Joomras; but I don’t have to worry about that anymore or slipping anywhere in the house (I’m 76 now).Am thinking now of wearing them to my gym work out….

  20. I used to slip on them too until I got my Joomras; but I don’t have to worry about that anymore or slipping anywhere in the house (I’m 76 now).Am thinking now of wearing them to my gym work out….Update: April 1, 2025Joomras are definitely for warm days only….because they are incredibly well ventilated. I have tried to wear them as slippers around my cabin this winter (30-50 degrees F.)..but my feet freeze (in all fairness I have Hashimotos). I can put wool socks on but there is really no space for my toes then. Am thinking of buying my next pair a size larger…but that would land me in a size 12…which might make me look like bozo….Wish they came in half sizes….P.S. They work really well at the gym!

  21. Super comfy! Definitely buying some more. I have wide feet and high arches and these shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever put my feet in. I was barefoot for the majority of my childhood and most of my young adult life I wore converse or flats. Any time I try to wear tennis shoes my feet and calves cramp and I can only wear them for a very short time. A family member gave me some hokas not too long ago and while they are comfy, I find that my feet slide off their super thick sole if I wear them on uneven ground. We have a small homestead and I work outside all day every day and I had just started wearing sandals or swim shoes to work outside in because all my other shoes were very uncomfortable.I ordered these because I felt like they were a cross between a swim shoe and tennis shoes, they had a wide toe box for my wide feet, and they looked easy to slip off and on. They have met or exceeded every expectation! I’ve had no problem with my feet slipping and sliding around in the shoe. The sole is thick enough that walking on rocks doesn’t hurt my heels, which has been a problem with my swim shoes and sandals. 2 years ago I stepped on a rock and bruised my heel so bad that it hurt constantly for a solid year. I do NOT want to do that again. I’m on my feet all day every day and the majority of that time is spent on rock so I definitely need a good sole. These shoes are great at offering the protection I need without having a big bulky sole, plus they offer the perfect amount of support my feet need and are still flexible enough to make walking on uneven ground easy.I really can’t wait to test these out when we go huckleberry hunting. I always wear my swim shoes when we go because I usually wind up climbing up a steep hillside several times in search of an untouched patch of huckles. The tread on the sole looks incredibly grippy and I’m hoping that is the case…. we will see very soon if they are! I can’t wait to put them to the test. These are so comfortable and I really bought them to be my designated work shoes but I’m probably going to buy another pair or two in different colors. I got the blue ones and they are very bright, I love the color but they don’t match much of my wardrobe. So I’ll probably order some in a more neutral color for going to town. The first day I had them I wore them without socks, which was what I hoped to be able to do, however, since I don’t really wear “real” shoes very often, they were starting to rub my heel. I have been wearing some light low cut socks and that solved that problem. Not sure if it was the shoe or if it was my heel, but everything is good now that I am wearing socks.Time will tell on how durable these shoes are, but rest assured I will be putting them through the wringer. They feel very durable, hopefully they will last me a long time. I really like them so far and want some more!

  22. wide toe box. EDIT:I ordered the All Black version – which is different than the pink, purple and red. I found the velcro strap on the All Black version to be just unnecessary and in the way. It makes putting the shoe on difficult. Sending it back. But I do still love the version of this shoe that does not have the velcro strap.I got these shoes for wearing around the house. Easy slip-ons and very lightweight. And the type of rubber on the bottom of the shoe is excellent quality. These shoes are very comfortable in the toe box – nice and roomy. I do like them – but as others mentioned – there is no arch support whatsoever and I would add they are very flat – no heel rise to them. I have pretty flat feet so the arch support isn’t such a big deal – but I will have to add some kind of heel lift just so I’m not walking so flat footed. All that said – I do like them enough that I ordered 3 more pairs in different colors. The pink is very pink – which I like. I also ordered the purple, black, and red.

  24. Very light ,and gud grip perfect for hiit, weight and cardio trainning , little bit expensive

  25. Versatile, Comfortable, and Worth Every Step. I have to say, they were absolutely right about these shoes! They are incredibly comfortable—I’ve worn them all day, walked long distances, worked out, and trained in different modalities, and they’ve held up perfectly. The fit is great, and they feel supportive yet flexible, making them ideal for both casual wear and intense training sessions. The gray color is a nice addition to my collection since I didn’t have anything like it before. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying more in different colors.I’ve had them for a couple of weeks now, and they still feel just as great as day one. I’ll be back in about three to four months with a follow-up review to share how they hold up over time!

  26. Wow. Just WOW. I was recently diagnosed with Morton’s Neuroma, Planter’s Fasciitis, and bone spurs on both heels. I’ve spent A LOT of money on name brand shoes and the Morton’s Neuroma continues to put me thru the roof in pain every single day for at least 3 years now. I did some research on shoes, did some searching and found these and ordered. They came in the mail yesterday and I put them on my feet at 6am this morning and just took them off 18 hours later. I cannot describe the comfort and absolutely NO PAIN from my MN (usually I have to remove my shoe for the commute home from work everyday and drive home in my sock) because the burning throbbing pain is unbearable. Not today! I ran errands after work, went for dinner, and did errands around the house until just now PAIN FREE ALL DAY. I am definitely going to be buying more in different colors. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned, are reasonably priced, CUTE, and run true to size. Highly HIGHLY recommend if you have problems like mine. Absolutely LOVE THEM!!

  27. Comfortable shoe for a variety of exercises. I love these minimalist shoes, my second pair. I will probably get a third pair soon. They are beyond comfortable for wearing around the house and walking/slow jogging. I bought a half size larger than I wear in case I want to wear socks with them. Fit well with and without socks. These shoes are well designed and have a roomy toe box. They have a flexible sole which allows for a variety of movement and exercise. Good tread and lots of color choices.

Fit like a glove. Update on initial review: I have since received a similar shoe from a different brand and they’re so much more comfortable than these were. They’re much closer to feeling barefoot with a little arch support. They’re also more flexible. So I’m returning these. Initial review: I love the color! I read the reviews before buying and, although the 9-95 was recommended, I bought my usual size of 8.5 and they fit like a glove. My big toe hits right against the forward part of the shoe – not something I’d want with regular shoes. However, as these are supposed to mimic being barefoot, I don’t think it would make sense to have more room. The wide toe box isn’t new for me as I’ve been buying shoes with wider toe box due to bunions on both feet. One of my concerns is how they’ll fit when my feet swell at the end of the day. They’re very fitted now, not sure there’s room for swelling. I’ll try to remember to submit an update once I’ve worn them a bit. My initial thought, though, is that they’re as advertised and I’ll enjoy wearing them.

  29. Perfect fit. These fit perfectly. An ideal hiking shoes should be about half a size to two sizes larger than what you’d normally wear. These are about a half a size larger than I would wear with other shoes so they’re perfect. They are super comfortable as well. The wide toe box is perfect for preventing blisters. They are also light weight and breathable which is perfect for keeping your feet dry. And they are very sturdy and well and should last me a very long time.

  30. High performing athletic shoe. Comfortable, generous toe box (has helped my toenails relax), and lightweight. Flexible shoe with good range of movement. Requires no breaking in period. Good for lifting weights and running. I wear them to the office too.
