Great gel pen for opaque and consistent white detailing and lettering. This review is made in comparison to the Sakura White Gelly Roll, which is what I’ve been using exclusively up until now.PROS:• Even and consistent ink flow.• Very opaque.• Rubber grip and thicker barrel makes it much more comfortable and ergonomic.• Can go over lines and do multiple layers to make sections thicker.CONS:• Pen tip is much larger (1.0 mm) compared to what most people are used to on a Gelly Roll• Distributes a lot of ink (takes some getting used to).• Slightly longer drying time.I was skeptical of the Signo making that much of a difference compared to the Gelly Roll but it surprised me. With both pens, I always do a little “warm-up” scribble before I go into an art piece — but with the Signo, I can rely on the ink flow to stay consistent and even until I’m done with it. If not, I can easily go back to areas that need touching up without ruining the ink I already laid down. With the Gelly Roll it would skip frequently and when I went over another area again, it would always scratch the ink already in the process of drying — this often turned a small touch up into a larger problem. The Signo is also a lot more comfortable. Often times, my hand would cramp up with a Gelly Roll because of its skinny barrel. Especially since I would have to spend more time with it going over areas to make the lines more opaque or filling in areas the ink skipped. With a Signo, I usually only have to make one pass.Yes, the Signo produces a much bolder line than a Gelly Roll — because of that it does release a lot of ink and needs a little longer drying time. It’ll also take a bit to get used to and familiar with so you can control it and know what to expect when you detail/write.Overall the Signo is a great alternative to the Gelly Roll. It’s now my go-to pen, although I still plan to always keep at least one Gelly Roll pen nearby for times I need to do very small details.

Worth your money! ( not that it costs a lot anyway…). I am really picky when it comes to my art supplies, and it was difficult for me to find a white gel pen that could meet my standards. The ink is very opaque, which isn’t very common when it comes to white pigment; and it shows up very well on light colored surfaces. The ink is also fairly sheen, and although not very visible, can be seen on white paper as well. I don’t recommend using this on any material other than paper, and the tip isn’t small enough to be that great on grainy textures ( such as watercolor paper). Make sure that the surface you apply the ink to is dry as well. The package comes with three pens, which I think is a great deal considering the price, but just a heads up, there is no variation in size. My only complaints are that the gel can smudge occasionally even if it had been sitting out for a while. This doesn’t happen often, but it’s pretty annoying. Also, if you press down too hard the line will appear split down the middle ( like two thinner lines). Sometimes you’ll be drawing circles on a spare sheet of paper just because the ink won’t come out, and that’s probably the biggest issue I have with them. This is mainly why I can’t give this product five stars. Overall, this is a really good product, and I would buy it again.
Worked well for writing on darker paper. I purchased these white gel pens to write on some brown craft paper food label tents and they worked great. One pen was more than enough for 20-25 labels, with ink left over (I’ve saved the used pen and the two unused pens for future use). The pens write in medium thickness, perfect for my purpose. The ink dried quickly and did not smear. Definitely recommend.
super pigmented. LOVEEEE
The best white pen. I have tried MANY white gel and paint pens and always come back to these . Simply the best
I loved this product. These pens are great. Its exactly what I wanted for my art .
The best. These work really well, and are a must have for traditional artists. I’ve used them to add highlights for the most part, but I’ve even used them to cover up mistakes. Of course when you go over it multiple times the gel on the paper will move around.

kind of like paint. I got these pens not for art but to mark dots on a dark background habit tracker. These are pretty good as they do show up quite vibrantly against the dark background. However, I have noticed that I need to go over the strokes one or two times because it does not usually go on as a completely solid line. Certainly the ink seems to be quite watery, but it doesn’t run as long as I don’t accidentally brush it before it dries. The casing for the pens seems pretty sturdy.

😄. i really liked them! and its worth every penny since it comes in a pack of 3, it smears a little but it was on skin so it probably wouldnt smear on paper. its really good though!
It’s what I hoped for. Very white, covers great goes where you put it
Like them. Uni-ball pens I just love. Easy grip, ink flows smoothly
Better than Most White Gel Pens. These work better and write more clearly than most white gel pens. They last longer, too without skipping.
Stupendous. New to writing “white-on-dark”; these pens are great; makes writing seem almost magical! Love ‘em! Will definitely purchase again!
Great quality. The company I work for is a retailer that sometimes uses black tape with white pricing written on them. We were using white paint pens that were difficult to use. These white gel pens are so much easier to use and write so much neater. We are no longer using paint pens.
Love this brand. Great for putting on top of alcohol markers. Great in flow! Love these and the gold ones. Trying the silver next!
Great quality. It serves the purpose of white out and works great. I like how it is a roller pen. The material it’s made out of is also great quality. You really get what you pay for. The ink flow is a good amount. Not too much that will ruin your paper but just enough to doodle on dark paper without having to do it twice.
Perfect. These white ink pens are the best I’ve used. The white is thick and fluid on paper. There are no faded spots as you write like with other brands I have tried. I’m fully satisfied.
if you’re looking for white pen with your hard to find. This is a good quality pin, especially because it’s white never dries up and always works. You won’t regret it.
Like butter. This is by far the best white gel pen. So smooth. No skips. I’m able to detail my coloring pages with ease. Don’t have to go over it twice. 5 stars.
Awesome pens. Write great!
Best white pen I’ve ever bought, sometimes it even works like a white out pen. The only downside is the large amount of ink that comes out but if you know when to let it dry it works SUPER great. I’ve used this on study guides and pen drawings and the white is perfect. It doesn’t take forever to show up.
Great Pens!! Very opaque:). Just started my coloring hobby and I love to add highlights with this white pen! They glide perfectly on the paper and have a very opaque effect. Very easy to use and they are essential for adding a pop of highlights to your coloring. Will for sure purchase again!
Exactly what I was looking for. I love these pens. I’ve been searching for a white ink ballpoint that’s small enough to fill in the numbers on resin dice, and these work great. They’re still a little big for the D20, but the ink flows smoothly and is easy to control, the white color is vibrant and bright. Super glad I grabbed these.

nice quality pens. These pens are good quality and write well. The white ink is thick and not watery. The ink is smooth and has good coverage on dark paper.
Great value, works well. Great pen for highlights.
