Initial Rerview: Has gotten me back to hiking. just bought my fourth one – because it helps. November 9 2018 – I am finally opening up my new uflex knee brace. It’s been over seven months of use 5-6 days/week. Unknown number of washings – cold water with woolite and air dried. The support seems to have diminished just a bit. The grippy area is gone but it still stays up okay. Very pleased with this product. Will be ordering another one.August 2018 Update – Five months+ of use 5 or more days per week and at least 25 washings with hiking and road biking. This is the best support for my knee that I have found. I have not opened up the second one that I purchased yet because I am now trying to see what it will take to destroy this knee brace. The compression is still super and I believe that it is close the same compression as when it was new. I hand wash it in Woolite and air dry (it does take a while to dry so I wash on Fridays and use it again on Monday. The silicone gripper is nearly 100% gone but the brace stays exactly in place without it (the silicone gripper does hold it better but it works very well without it – much to my surprise). This has been a great purchase and the folks that I have recommended it to have bought it and like it. During the summer months I road bike instead of hiking and I bike about 150 miles/week. I know that I would not be able to do that without this product. I should add that I paid full price for and have absolutely no relationship with the vendor or manufacturer other to be a happy customer.I just ordered another one since the first one has worked great. Like anyone who is reading this i have some issues with my knees. For me aging has exacerbated the problems that have come from many miles of backpacking and years of horseback riding. I still hike but knee pain was getting to me. My doctor sent me to an orthopedist who did xrays, told me about arthritic changes and put me in a knee support. The support worked great insofar as pain relief but i could not hike with it. That led to a search of my own and this is the third and most effective product (I like the pain relief enough to order another one). When we measured my leg i came in at the “low” end of large so based on suggestions from other reviewers i ordered a medium and its perfect. I have hiked a bit over 50 miles this past week and it has been largely pain free. I know for sure that i could not have done that without this product. The others that i tried were a bit lighter in weight than this but not nearly as supportive (although they are okay for bicycling).
Not sure if it’s for me. I am on day two of weariness these braces on each knee. I have patella femora arthrictic knees and I’m a full time waiter at Epcot inside Walt Disney World. I have cracking, popping, left knee in front kneecap prior to wearing these sleeves . Now, on second day of brace use, I’m experience popping and cracking behind my kneecap on inside knee & new pain sensations. I was wearing an open hole over kneecap stabilizing brace before instead of solid sleeve like this one.Not sure what’s causing new popping/pain sensations in new areas, but I’ll try a few more shifts.Otherwise, well constructed and comfortable knee sleeve that fits well & stays in place through a seven to eight hour hour shift in busy restaurant. I don’t have this problem in opposite knee and am wearing this new sleeve there to be pro -active, as I’m 54 y/o and have been a server all of my life. I’m experiencing extreme arthritic change in all joints and I need to keep serving 5 more years. I’ve been diagnosed with normal wear/tear osteoarthritis, so I bought these via Co-Cast member who had ACL TEAR. They help her and she is 62y/o.They feel great. Just new and sudden added pain throughout knee and popping on interior of left knee, anterior area, is surprising. My crepitus under front of kneecap I have been dealing with for three years without pain, so IM NOT SURE IF THIS NEW SLEEVE COMPRESSION SHIFTED/REALIGNED THE cracking popping to anterior/interior of left knee. It’s as if the even compression of this new brace aligned the kneecap better than former brace , and now the popping is in new area I can feel as I work and there’s more subtle pain and burning sensations in more areas of this problem knee. Will keep you updated. I took today off to run errands and then R.I.C.E. Knee . We will see!Well made product!
Highly recommended by professionals and I can see why. I have been a runner all my life. Now in my late 50s, I have pushed my knees farther than I should, and as a result, I had minor surgery for a meniscus tear. That kind of injury never really goes away. You see, you either take care of your knee or you are doomed to repeat the injury.I have been taking care of my knee but apparently, with the wrong knee brace. A few years back I opted for a very heavy cloth brace that I have been using up until today. It has held up well, but it not only weighted down my leg during exercise but was filled with sweat after exercise because the material could not breathe.I did some research on the best knee braces and this brand consistently came up in the results. With a bit of confidence, I measured my leg 4″ above the knee cap, came up with 19″ and ordered the MEDIUM brace. The fit turned out to be perfect. The brace hugged my leg tightly. I knew instantly the fitting guide was correct. My first time on the Peloton wearing this new brace vs. the old was quite the revelation. The brace was light and flexible. It didn’t feel like I had weight on my leg. While it didn’t feel like I was completely leg naked, I was able to push my knee a lot harder without feeling weighted down. The brace never slipped during the ride, which was great. After exercise, the brace wasn’t filled with sweat. What a remarkable find! After years of wearing the wrong kind of brace, I finally found something much lighter and more effective. The instructions say that the brace can be easily washed in cold water with mild soap, rinsed, and then air-dried.I can assure you that this will be the best brace decision you can make. The comfort and flexibility make this particular choice a no-brainer.
Not the same. I bought a medium blue which my husband liked and thought I’d buy one for me and an extra for when both knees hurt. I was surprised when they came in different packaging but then went back and reviewed my purchases. Although much is the same description, the material is different. Either way, for some reason these aren’t as comfortable as the blue one so I am returning them. They still got a good ranking since it does help and the blue one was comfortable.

These Are The BEST Knee Braces. I find these braces to be the BEST ones for me! They are really comfortable, stay in place, and offer gentle support when my knees are acting up. I have bought them several times and size up because I don’t want a lot of compression; a gentle warming works wonders for my knees. The braces are a soft very elastic knit with sturdy binding sewn to each edge so they don’t fall apart with use. Inside the top edge are two rows of silicone in a zig-zag pattern that I don’t care for so I wear the braces inside out and they still work great. The silicone rows are there to keep the brace in place but silicone usually irritates my skin. Using the braces inside out makes no difference in performance and they still stay in place even when I’m really active.I own about 3 pairs of these now and seem to buy another one whenever I see them on sale. The oldest braces are still the same size and work just as well as when they were new but I find that they take a day or two to dry after washing so I like to have several pairs in reserve.I hand wash them using warm water and Dawn dishwashing detergent. Rinse in warm water and roll in a towel to get somewhat dry before hanging them up to finish drying. I found that if I don’t roll them in a towel after rinsing they take about 4 days to dry because they are such a thick knit.

Great KNEE Protector. Going for a hike or playing sports? This is a great KNEE protector and I have a set of every color it comes in! Save the knee(s) and wear one of these!! They fit good and feel good!!
Stays in Place – Great Support. Love this knee sleeve. Bought it based on a third party review. It stays in place and does not slide down or roll up. It also has good compression yet is not too tight. Also breathable. Great for running and walking if having stability issues or inflammation. I was in between sizes and bought down. I’m male 5’9 and 205 lbs and bought the M size. It is perfect. Anything larger would have been too loose.
Surprisingly helpful. The knee sleeve took pressure off the knee and was fairly comfortable. It does irritate the back of the knee when bent, but that seems inevitable. Glad I bought it.
perfect for me. Love these braces. They are everything advertised and more, especially for the price. Im 70 and have a basket full of old knee braces that I can now throw out. They provide phenomenal support without impeding movement at all. Very comfortable and they stay in place. My knees have been balky for years…..feel way better after workouts now than they have in a long time.
