A little smelly, but otherwise fine. Feb 20, 2022: Upgrading from 1 star to 4.The 10 lb bumbells still have a lingering odor, but it’s no longer offensive and permeating my entire house, just a faint burnt rubber if I hold them to my nose. I’m otherwise using them with no issues.Despite the odor of the first pair I recently, and somewhat reluctantly, ordered a pair of the 20 lb. dumbbells because they still the best price and they’re otherwise functional and fine. The new 20s did not smell nearly as bad, in fact I used them right away and they’re sitting out and not stinking up the room. I will probably be getting a pair of 30s soon.Original Review: These are stinking up my entire apartment! I feel like if I put them away to prevent the smell it will never dissipate, but leaving them out is almost unbearable. I can’t even pick them up without having to scrub the smell off my hands. What the h*ll??? I was hoping the few reviews mentioning the odor were the exceptions, but boy was I wrong.
Really good price compared to every other company selling dumbells. I saw other people had some problems. Only receiving one instead of two. Or a completely different dumbbell. Once my package was delivered I opened it up and had both dumbbells. They were new. No damage or use on them. And we’re as shown in the pictures. The handle is thicker than your average dumbbell. But has a good feel as it shapes the palm of your hand. Isn’t to big that it’s an issue. Just larger than average. People also say it stinks. But they have never ordered new gym equipment before. It is just the smell of fresh rubber it goes away fast so don’t worry. It’s just how it is with new equipment.
Fit my needs perfectly. I read a lot about these before buying them and the biggest complaints were about the smell and the grease. Even when opening them I hardly noticed any smell at all. I use them in my lanai and I can’t say that I notice any smell. Maybe other people are more sensitive to smells. While unpacking them I did notice some lubricant to keep them from rusting, but the cleanup was minimal. I love the grip on these dumbells as it fits my hand comfortably and securely. The shape is great so that when I set them down the don’t roll away. I like the look and am very happy with my purchase.
Work great so far and good price at under $25 a pair. These seem quality dumbbells so far. The price when I bought them was under $25 for a set of 2 ten pound dumbbells, which is a good price.
Getting ripped. Love these weights specially the lighter ones, I on occasions tend to just be lazy and drop the weights in my garage so they’re a big help for not damaging the floors. And not listening to my wife yell
very smelly. WE had to leave these outside in the Arizona sun for about 2 weeks. They really smelled like burnt asphalt. eventually the smell went away. We got the same brand in the 20 lb. and they had no smell at all,go figure

About the smell. At first, the smell was borderline unbearable in my 1 bedroom apartment, but it got significantly better after leaving them outside for a few days. It took about 9 months of use for the smell to completely go away.
Beginner options. I am about to start my workout journey and have been in the market for some 10 pound weights. For the price these weights were perfect and fits the description perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase. There is a slight bit of an odor. I just placed them in the garage for a few days.

Great quality Dumbbells. I am very impressed with these dumbbells! Great quality. They arrived in excellent condition. The smell of plastic that other reviewers mentioned was very minor and was gone in a short period of time.
Great product. I love these weights!! I love the flexibility of being able to workout at home, and these dumbbells are the perfect addition to my workout routine. The weight is balanced, and the grips are textured enough that even when I work up a good sweat, I don’t have any problems holding on them. Highly recommend adding these to your home gym set up!!
After tons of shopping, settled on these; no regrets. I experienced NONE of the odor and grease problems reported by others. These are great quality and arrive ready to use. I got the 20lb. weights and will be purchasing the rest of the set as my needs change.
Very nice quality. Love these high quality dumbbells. A lot of people complained about the rubber smell, I personally like it. It lasts about 2 weeks but at least I know it is real rubber high quality weights. I wiped them all down with Clorox wipes and the smell is mostly gone if you are concerned about the smell. I purchased a set from 5lbs to 50lbs and use them every day.

I just got my package 📦 today which showed up just as promised and I open the box and the other reviews are correct there is a slight odd but nothing that a few hours in the garage or any open space can’t get rid off (Not That Awful Really)After about 2 hours I started using my new 35 pound dumbbells and I have to say I am very pleased with the craftsmanship of the dumbbells they are very well put together and the weight is solid and the handles have the non-slip resistant grooves which is nice and I am already looking to order the 50 pound dumbbells tomorrow from the same company, if you are debating whether or not to spend the money or if this is a good product, it is very much worth the money. You won’t be disappointed.

Exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t find these at the PX, so of course my next stop was Amazon. These were a good price and shipped to quickly. They are durable and I am sure they will last me a long time. They look great in my gym and match all my other gym equipment so I am happy about that. The grip is great because it has the little ridges and they are also easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Great pair of weights, they do have a chemically smell so leave them out for a bit before using. I think they are a bit pricey, but they are good overall. They do have a strong chemical smell when unboxing, so be aware of that. Box was a bit damaged but other than that everything was fine.

Pro gym quality. They don’t smell the greatest at first but that aside they’re solid with good grips. I use them for push ups as well as regular lifting. You won’t be disappointed.
Great dumbbells. I’m a big fan of the grip on these, and the build quality of them are really nice too. Just recently cancelled my gym membership to work out at home and these are perfect for most of the weight training exercises I do.

Good deal. Good deal, I got the pair for $98. They feel lighter than my cast iron dumbbells, so I put them on the scale & sure enough 50lbs. Grip feels great & they’ll look better down line compared to my cast iron dumbbells.
Get Them. These are very easy to use, sturdy non-cheap material, the weight quality is precise, and overall functionally these are perfect for you to begin working out at home.
