Surprising sound performance for surprisingly, low price. I was looking for a pair of earbuds with a mic. I stumbled upon the Performance PRO1605. I was surprised to see some small earbuds were advertised, as Hi-Res Audio. Not to mention, I was shocked by the price tag. Therefore, I was willing to take a chance on Philips, as I already own their superb, SHP9500.DESIGN: The PRO6105 has a nice and shiny, metallic design on the outside of the earphones. On the inside, is a plastic, navy blue surface with the L and R on their corresponding sides. This is located beneath the ear tips. In addition, the PRO6105 comes with three (S,M,L) interchangeable ear tips. The large ear tips on the earbuds by default. The ear tips fit snug inside my ears. No worry about them slipping out. The cord is like any other cord for headphones. However, on the left side of the headphones is a microphone. On the right side is a rubber clip, which organizes the cords in a neat fashion.SOUND: The PRO6105 has 8.6mm neodymium drivers, which is above average for most earbuds. The frequency response is 7-40,000hz, which is Hi-Res Audio. The SHP9500 is not, as they are 12-35,000hz The sensitivity is 109 db, compared to the SHP9500’s 101 db. Of course, you cannot compare earphones to headphones, but in the case of the PRO6105 in comparison to the SHP9500, that is impressive. The impedance is 16 ohms. The maximum input power is only 20mW. For some earbuds, they have superb, crystal clear and clean sound. The highs and mids are great. The lows are pretty good, as well. No distortion. The bass is deep, clean, clear but not overdone. Of course, most Hi-Res audio is not bass-heavy. With that said, if you are a bass-head, these headphones are not for you. Beats by Dre might be, however, In addition to everything, the noise-cancellation is great on these earbuds. I played some music, while the TV was up and could only hear the music. The music sounds excellent. Of course, these earbuds are made, primarily for that. Words sound crystal clear. The detail of background sounds i.e. instruments, drums, etc. of the music are heard, crystal clear. The treble is nice. Good bass, as I mentioned before. Out of curiosity, I performed a test of some games. I played an old, saved video of Hitman 2 on PSN. There was a part, where a massive explosion takes place. The explosion was punchy, along with the sound of debris, hitting the floor, sounded loud and amazingly, clear. The sounds around the environment, sounded clear, as well. I heard birds chirping, conversations of NPCs around the map, footsteps, etc. I was impressed. With that said, if you choose to game on PS4 with these, the controller can drive these earbuds with ease. In fact, I had the controller volume set to max but had to set it to level seven. The sound was still, ambient enough, without feeling, as if my eardrums were going to burst.MIC: On PSN, I did a test for the adjust mic settings. I could hear my voice, crystal clear. Also, for personal calls, I could hear their voice, crystal clear and they could hear mine. Plus, these earbuds have echo cancellation. Also, for personal calls, with the press of a button, music can be paused to accept phone calls.VERDICT: Considering these are Hi-Res, along with the accessories, which come with them, they are a STEAL for only twenty bucks. Not to mention, they can compete with some top headphones out there. Great for music and surprisingly, good for gaming.

Basic good performer. Arrives in a 2.5″ x 6.5″ box – could’ve used less materials – but presentation countsCONSTRUCTION:They have the generic dark grey rubbery plastic buds out of the box and as replacements included – in case you lose one .I like the smooth non-stick rubber shielding around the cables. The cable connections to all the components look like pretty solid (except to the mic section). Other than that area, It doesn’t appear that normal “caring” wear and tear will yank wires loose. The ear bud , mic section and jack hardware are made of black plasticPERFORMANCE:Regardless of what music I like to listen to, I like using recordings of real physical musical instruments as a reference to judge audio quality of hardware – so I’m using a meditation sound track of crystal chimes being struck and quartz crystal bowls being rubbed for these …That high frequency “Tinggggg-NNNNNN-ingggggggg-NNNNNNN-inggggg reverberating strike sound (of the crystal chimes) and the quartz crystal bowls sound good – not spectacular – there’s not as much mid to deep lows as I’ve experienced with some other brands. But, hey, what if these are more accurate and the others are over enhancing the original recording?Noise Cancellation – not great but adequateVolume – I’ve had other brands that can go higher than this one (need less battery power to drive the mini-speakers) – but it’s still good.

Work great. Works great and they are comfortable. Occasional static randomly but it could be my work laptop.
Good value for money. I purchased these headphones to have an alternative to wireless headphones. The sound is fair for a set this price with a correct balance for treble, mid-tones and basses. They are comfortable, the volume control works as expected and the wire does not get entangled. Good value for money.
They’re worth it. I bought these last year in July and they’re STILL going strong! Normally I’d got through two or three pairs in a short amount of time with faulty or cheap buds from my local stores. But THESE are amazing! So clear, very loud, and fit perfectly! When or if the pair I have now finally die on me I know I’m DEFINITELY getting another pair! They’re really amazing! 😃
Comfortable Earbuds. These earbuds are comfortable over time and they fit nicely into my ear. I have gone through about 3 different pairs of earbuds and was disappointed with how they wore over time. I was mainly on the hunt for something that was comfortable while also providing decent sound. They sound great and cancel noise very well. I mainly use these while I am on my computer and they haven’t given me any issues so far.
Good sound, bad materials. 13 months, broken, in the first 6 months begin to crumble, 13 months, and finally broke complete, bad materials
good full sound. they sound pretty decent. 100% worth the price, good full bass, decent mids, clear hi’s. totally good deal. came with different size earbuds, little carry bag, fit in my ears well, and the 3.5mm plug seems to be of good quality as well.
Far better than expected anyway. I decided to upgrade my JBL Tune 110 in-ear headphones and get something that could be better still. I came across these PRO6105s, I checked the specs in the Philips site and I couldn’t click “Add to cart” fast enough even if I tried.Given the fact that I listen to rather bass-demanding music (i.e: metal) I want my headphones to be bass-y. They are better than I could have hoped for and far cheaper than any similar one I could get locally. The plug fits rather snugly in my phone and they feel like they should last for a number of years.Yet there is something that I really wasn’t expecting even though I made sure it wan’t possible: it has no volume control. I specifically filtered “Volume control” when I was looking for buying some because it goes without saying that it’s the most useful function that wired headphones can have… But it just has the regular old “Play/Pause” button. The specs of the headphones are really good, which is brilliant, but it’s disappointing that it’s being set up as having a key feature when it actually doesn’t.All in all, these PRO6105s are looking out to last for a long time hopefully, but the volume thing sure is annoying.
Pretty Good For Twenty Dollars. I bought these earbuds about two years ago and I still use them on a daily. They sound great for twenty dollars and it feels decently comfortable. It captures the bass and trebles pretty well while also keeping the midrange intact. These are definitely best used at home or at a job where you’re mostly sitting. But if you prefer or need wired earbuds then I’d recommend that you consider getting these.
FIT WELL IN THE EAR. I definitely like how these fit. They do not fall out easily – even if you end up sweating while working out. The noise cancellation is not the best but it is decent. Quality sound – clear. I would recommend these for environments that are not super loud because you will need to turn up the volume to drown out background noise… which eventually could be too loud to listen to – with that being said, especially due to the fit – I would recommend these!
Great sound quality, but mic broke after a few weeks. These earbuds have good sound quality and very good volume. If you’re not careful, you can damage your ears. I’ve had a couple times where my computer randomly cranked these up to full volume out of nowhere and I had to take them off. This doesn’t happen often though. While the sound quality is great, the biggest problem is that my mic quit working after just two or three weeks of use. It produces sound so quiet it’s inaudible. So don’t buy these if you plan to use the mic.(P.S. be careful with static electricity because it’s easy to get your ears shocked wearing a blanket)
Awesome Buds. There are two things you need to know about these buds. First, they have very good sound quality. Good bass, not tinny and the highs are clear and not shrill , unlike some other brands I have tried. Secondly, I have to rave about the fit, these stay in place! The earbuds don’t move around in my ears which means the sound stays consistent. I also find that they’re great for using in bed. They don’t stick out and you hardly even notice that you’re wearing them.I am also very impressed with their performance. I listen to mostly heavy metal. The first song I ever listened to with these was Aces High by Iron Maiden and I was blown away. Great for movies too. They’re definitely a good value for your money. So far no issues with durability.

This was a surprise. Apparently my favorite earbuds are no longer available. I didn’t want to take my last pair on an airplane so I started looking for a decent disposable pair. These showed up in my feed. The specs were good and the price was very good so I thought I would give them a try. It turns out they are fantastic. The feeling in my ears is different but I can get used to that. The fit is good though and blocks external sound very well. The sound is very transparent and the bass is deep without sounding muddy. I think I’ll have to get a spare pair for home.
Quality sound at a great price. Easy to use and versatile. These are a great value for the money. Cord length is good and these are a nice look too!

Lovely sound. This passed my stereo/headphone test. I play Santana’s Sing Winds, Crying Beasts. I could hear the chimes, the cymbals were good and caused shivers as they rolled from ear to ear, the lead guitar was sweet, and the bass didn’t overpower.
Great earbuds. Great sound quality, well built, good price. Fit great and don’t hurt your ears to wear. Easy peasy.
reasonably priced, well thought out design, good sound. I’m very happy with the build quality and sound. comfortable low profile design that fits closely and doesn’t stick out from your ear. They have a surprisingly rich smooth sound, and decent level of detail. not tinny or harsh in the high end, not boomy or indistinct in the low end. These aren’t reference quality, but very very pleasant for casual listening. no listening fatigue with these.(also the normal comply foam eartips fit perfectly even though this has an oval shaped connector instead of round.)
