  1. Dogs LOVE the Pupford Freeze Dried Beef Liver. Our very picky dog loves ONLY the Pupford freeze dried beef liver treats. We like them because of the low calorie per treat so we don’t have to worry about weight challenges. What is interesting is that we have purchased these same treats for the dogs of our family and friends, and their dogs love them also. Our sister-in-law said that her dog goes nuts when he can have these particular treats. We have tried the other flavors, but the dogs only love the beef liver treats. We really wish they were available in larger sizes since the small bags do not last very long.

  2. Great Quality Product. Quality 2 ingredient freeze dried chicken treats. Great size for training an Australian Terrier Puppy/dog (10lbs) and an adult Teacup Yorkie (3-1/2 lbs). Both dog love them and no health issues from them at this point.By the way, my Yorkie is an elderly dog with no teeth and she does fine with digesting them.Soooo….at this point I’m only on the first bag and so good. Seems a little pricey, but I appreciate the quality product, and I alternate these dried with fresh boiled chicken pieces to keep the price down.2 Thumbs up!

  3. Great Treats for Dogs and Cats. Purchased these to train new puppies and the cats wanted a test treat. Positively the dogs and cats all love the chicken. Wish I would have tried this with my older dog to get it started on freeze dried food, she thought freeze dried was strange and didn’t like freeze dried anything haa haa. Yes, these are good, and I will continue to purchase. I do recommend the product. Update: Tried the beef treats and they were more of a hit than the chicken and the chicken is still a big hit!! The puppies have learned SIT in just one day.

  4. Pricey but you get what you pay for. These are perfect training treats. They’re small, so I don’t have to worry about overfeeding. (My) dogs LOVE them. And they’re dry without being crumbly, which means no bad smell or sticky residue on my hands and no waste on crumbs that are too small to use. Worth the $$$ if you need a high-value training treat.

  5. great training treat. Our puppy has many tricks down, but was having a hard time with “lie down”. She got it with this treat! Nice small size to take on a walk. She’s now learning “heel”

  6. LUNA LOVES THEM. This is our 4th order of Pupford Frezze dried chicken treats. I love that LUNA enjoys them I can tell how she acts when I tell her( I name everything she eats and plays with so she knows what she’s eating and playing with)When I say Chick- treat she knows exactly what she’s getting SHE stands up on her 2 back feet!! 🐶👍 Use them for all training sessions and don’t have to worry about giving Luna tooo many extra caloriesLuna HIGHLY RECOMMENDS

  7. Good, but not great. This are pretty good treats, however they are crunchy and not chewy. This is to be expected as they are freeze dried, but most trainers recommend chewy for puppies. Also these are really expensive for 4oz and while it is a lot of treats they very in size and the dog seems to chomp them in one bite. Overall if they were cheaper I would probably use them more, but there are better treats for less money.

  8. Puppy likes them, not loves them. Thought I’d try these (salmon) for Training my puppy, but she can take them or leave them. I also tried the sweet potato. She won’t eat them at all.

  9. Holy WOW. WoW! I have used a lot of different types and brands of training treats. I have never seen my dogs go nuts or been this motivated by a treat. Even my highly food motivated dogs have never been this motivated. My cat even zone by to pick up a dropped treat like the world would end if she didn’t get it! Low calorie per treat.Trainers will tell you not to train with crunchy treats. I wouldn’t say these fall under that catagorey do to the mini size they take no time to chew and or just swallow. Approx 475 treats per bag. Costly? Yes. High quality? YES sourced and made in the US. Except the Rabbit which is also sourced in Framce.

  10. Pug Loves Them. My son’s pug loves them. Although he’ll eat most anything. LolThe salmon flavored sure is pungent, and they are a little pricey, but the pug is happy.

  11. Expensive but worth it. My puppy loves these things. She has turned up her nose at a lot of other treats. I like that they are small and so great for training. Nothing like liver treats, and these are great because I don’t need to cut them up. Every pair of pants and coat I have is filled with these little things. And yes, they wash well and don’t make a mess in the dryer! Trust me, this is an important feature!

  12. Great, low calorie but very pricey. The media could not be loaded.  My dog loves everything freeze dried so I ordered these treats for her. I like how low calorie they are and they definitely don’t stink which is very important to me. It’s definitely on the pricier side for treats so that’s the only downside

  13. Pilfered freeze dried meat is the best. These are the perfect training treats. They are small so the dogs don’t gain weight or fill up. They are simply freeze dried meat plus vitamin E to keep it preserved. My dog loves the freeze dried rabbit. When I go to the park, every other dog loves them too when I offer! They last forever, because you just give one tiny piece. I have trained my dog to recall, sit, twirl, stay, and lay down with the treat because he loves it.. Thanks Pupford.I should be a representative because I have sold so many people at the park about the training treat

  14. My dog begs for these. I adopted a new dog this year and was looking for some healthy treats to help train him. I love the fact these are freeze dried meat with none of the fillers you see in other treats. They fit perfectly in his treat ball that keeps him busy playing for hours. I’d rather spend a little more knowing I’m feeding my baby healthy food.

Its in my monthly subscription. As a dog owner, I know the struggle of finding both healthy and effective training treats. Pupford Freeze Dried Dog Training Treats have exceeded my expectations on both counts! Here’s why I love them:Single-Ingredient Goodness: These treats are pure, freeze-dried meat (available in various flavors). No fillers, no grains, just wholesome protein that my dog goes crazy for.Tiny but Mighty: Each treat is pea-sized, perfect for multiple rewards during training without overfeeding. The low-calorie count means I can be generous without the guilt.

Pup loves them but they’re expensive. We’ve purchased these several times and they’ve been great for training our toy puddle. They are small, yet high reward treats that she loves! We used then for teaching new tricks, potty training, and basic commands. We appreciate that the treats have minimal ingredients and that they’re even local to where we live!We would go through a three pack about every 3-4 months but have started making our own treats due to the cost of these treats. They were great while we had them but $45 for 3-4 months worth of treats just isn’t feasible.

  17. Perfect Training Treats for Puppies. The Pupford Freeze Dried Training Treats for Dogs & Puppies are fantastic! My puppy really seems to pay close attention when he knows these treats are around. They’re small, tasty, and perfect for training sessions. I love that they’re made with simple, high-quality ingredients, and they don’t make a mess. These treats have been a huge help in getting my puppy to focus and learn new commands. Highly recommend for anyone training their pup!

  18. Great for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Our dog has a sensitive stomach and is on prescription food, so it’s hard to find a training treat that he can have frequently and sits well with him. These one ingredient low-calorie treats are perfect and although a bit pricey, absolutely worth it if your dog struggles to stomach most treats out there in high quantities. The salmon and beef liver are the stinkiest and definitely his favorite. Many of the treats are large enough to also break or chop in half for more pieces.

  19. Perfect size. I got these for training my puppy and they are perfect! She loves the taste and the are really small so I can be more generous while training her. They keep her attention and with only two ingredients I’m comfortable with her having them. They are very dry, so be sure to provide water during training breaks.

  20. My dog loves them. My dog loves these treats and they are healthy and low calorie as well. However, they are a bit pricey.

Good trading treats. Great treats for our new puppy for training . And also our older dog gets a few here and there . But my dog only seems to get excited for them once and a whole . Not sure if she loves these but they do help for training

  22. “High-Value Treats That Keep My Pup Focused”. I’ve been using Pupfood freeze-dried treats for a while now, and they’ve made a huge difference in my dog’s training sessions. Her absolute favorite is the Surf & Turf flavor—just the smell gets her tail wagging and full attention. The treats are small in size, which is perfect for training because I can reward her frequently without worrying about overfeeding. They’re also mess-free, easy to carry around, and don’t crumble in my pocket or treat bag like some other brands. I’ve noticed she stays much more focused and excited when I use these during walks, obedience practice, or even just teaching fun tricks at home. It’s such a relief to find a treat that’s both healthy and something she truly loves. If you’re looking for high-value treats that actually motivate your dog, I highly recommend Pupfood freeze-dried training treats—especially the Surf & Turf flavor. My pup gives them two paws up!

High-Value, Healthy Treats That Keep My Pup Focused. As someone who’s spent years training dogs across the U.S., I’ve tried countless treats to keep my pups motivated. The Pupford Freeze Dried Salmon Training Treats have quickly become a favorite in my toolkit. Each treat is small—about the size of a pea—and contains less than 1 calorie, making them perfect for extended training sessions without overfeeding. The simple, natural ingredients are gentle on sensitive stomachs, and the freeze-dried process locks in the rich salmon flavor that dogs love. The texture is just right—not too crumbly or greasy—so I can carry them in my pocket without any mess. With over 475 treats in a single bag, they last a long time, offering great value for the price.Whether I’m working with a young puppy or an older dog, these treats consistently grab their attention and make training more effective. If you’re looking for a reliable, healthy reward to enhance your training sessions, I highly recommend giving these a try.

Easy to chew, good size, and chicken flavored. My puppy liked these freeze dried treat, but I didn’t. They aren’t bad, and the siz is great. They don’t seem to last long and they smelled like fish. They seem to not last long in terms of freshness or it seemed that way. They get hard very quickly and they smell very strongly over time and not an abnormal amount of time. we stored them in a tupperware for freshness and they smelled so bad I didn’t bother giving them to our pup because I was unsure. I guess if they are being used daily and very often they will go fast, but with us being a puppy I can’t give treats like that, so we didn’t use them too often or fast enough.Update I bought them again at a different flavor , and purchased the beef flavor which seemed a bit better. They were eaten and loved by my puppy which I appreciate. Good size for him to eat safely and easily. For the Value or $12 or $16 it is not a great one. Similar to another reviewer, I literally got half a bag for both 4oz bags. So expensive for two bags $25 with all included, and only got literally a full 1, 4oz bag btwn the two purchased. They go super fast if actively training, or go bad quickly if not. I may purchase the larger sized bag to see if this makes a difference but because it is freeze dried the price is crazy.

  25. Johnny Karate May 30, 2025 at 12:00 am

Perfect little treats. I order these all the time for my pup and he loves them. Nice to have a small treat so he’s not taking in too many snacks during the day. He’s only about 15lbs so these are ideal for him, and he gets excited every time I grab the bag. Also easy and great to use in different “sniffing” toys to keep him stimulated for a while.

  26. Great low-calorie treats allow continous rewards without overfeeding. Also make a good food topper. Puppy loves these crunchy bits as training treats. Being low-calorie, they’re easier to use for rapid and repeated rewards without overfeeding your dog while training. Small size is easy to handle unless you have large hands. They also double well as a “food topper”… just crush two or three of them over their regular food with your fingers.

  27. Maria Pilar Suarez-Pereyra June 14, 2025 at 12:00 am

Love these for training. My dogs love these. Not hard and really soft for puppy teeth, started giving these to my dogs at 6 weeks. You get a good amount of product in the bag and lasts a while

  28. Great for training. Clean ingredients. Loved by my dog. It is great for training due to small size. I love it as it has clean ingredients and my dog loved it as it apparently tastes very good 🙂

  29. Jennifer Geisel July 3, 2025 at 12:00 am

Great Treat. The quality of this treat is fantastic—you can see and smell the difference right out of the package. It’s made with great ingredients, and I feel confident giving it to my pet. Best of all, my fur baby absolutely loves it! Tail wags and excited jumps every time I reach for the bag. It’s become a favorite in our home, and I’ll definitely be buying more. Highly recommend for any pet parent looking for a high-quality treat their furry friend will adore.

  30. Fantastic bargain and my dogs love them. This product is great! I 100% recommend. Good price, low cals, lots of treats. These work excellent for command recall. I’m extremely satisfied with this product, and will be a repeat buyer of this brand.
