I was hesitant – but happily surprised that it works!I am part Asian so I have hooded eyelids. I am over 60 and my lids are oily probably partly due to using eye cream but at my age I definitely need the eye cream. So many waterproof liners, shadows, primers, and mascaras have not work for me. So disappointing to do your makeup for an event only to go to the restroom a few hours into an event and see in the mirror that your eye makeup has smudged and smeared to everyplace on your face that it shouldn’t be. I am thankful that I won’t have anymore shocking mirror moments like I had before. Blinc Mascaras, liners & this primer – my holy grails!
Best primer ever. I wanted to use this for awhile before I reviewed. I bought this about a month ago. My go-to brand was discontinued so I’d been trying different things and ending up disappointed. Until now!! I scrolled past this one, it had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! I live in Ohio where it gets pretty hot and humid. I can mow my lawn, end up covered in sweat, but my eyeshadow is still perfect! I recently went to a Metallica concert and got gross and sweaty, but my eyeshadow was perfect! It goes on smooth and dries instantly! I will never buy another brand of primer! I’m definitely ordering again!! I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!!
Amazing. I was skeptical whether this actually worked but I decided to give it a try. Usually my eye makeup is all smudged within an hour due to my hooded eyes. However, this little miracle kept my makeup looking good all day long. The second picture is after 7 hours of use and right after a very intense Cardio workout that left me sweaty from head to toe. I can’t say enough good things about this product.
As someone with Alopecia, nothing works better for brows that last all day. Due to a thyroid condition I lost all the hair on my face and, including my eyelashes and eyebrows. So my makeup routine has changed significantly in the last 4 years. Starting with a completely blank canvas every morning definitely has its challenges, and having no eyebrows at all has been my biggest struggle. Eyebrows frame you’re entire face, they are the primary components in facial expression and have a huge impact on how we communicate non-verbally, which is over 75% of our communication. I was born with a condition that resulted in the small bones in my inner ear not to form properly and I spent the first years of my life unable to hear. Although surgeries were able to provide approx 60% hearing ability later on, as an infant, the method of communication I depended on was non-verbal, unlike most babies. Still to this day, my communication depends on what I feel and see, not what I hear, and eyebrows play a huge role in my ability to understand what someone is trying to communicate. I don’t mind not having eyelashes, but eyebrows actually have a significant impact on my ability to properly communicate with the world around me,domething most people don’t even realize how important their eyebrows are for more than just the beauty aspect.I have tried thousands of eyebrow products from pen, pencils, pomades, even sticker brows trying to create eyebrows that look like my natural hairs. Even when I found products I was satisfied with, my oily skin would have my brows gone by noon. I wish I could thank her in person, because it was her review left on a different product on Amazon that led me to discover the Thank Me Later primer. I know it’s mainly designed to be used as an eyeshadow primer, but this primer has been my holy grail for keeping my “eyebrows” looking just as good at the end of the day as when I first step out in the morning, every time I use it. And because a little goes a long way, I only need to use a tiny amount the size of a sewing push pin head each time, one tube literally lasts me almost 2 years. I bought my first tube at the end of 2018,and today in Aug 2023 I just ordered my 3rd tube, and still have some left in the second one. I just never want to have to go a day without this primer so I decided to have an extra tube on hand in case inflation continues to skyrocket prices like it has been.So for anyone out there looking for a product that can help you to create natural looking eyebrows that stay put for 24 hours, even with oily skin, THIS is your answer. I apply half a pin head size amount to each eyebrow area, (I apply mine using a stencil that I also use to apply a light brown powder with to form a clean, even, defined shape for each eyebrow) I let the primer dry while I apply my under eye concealer, then use my stencil and dab my eyebrow powder (just a shade of eyeshadow I found that matches my natural dark blonde hair as close as possible), then I carefully define the perimeter of each eyebrow with a tiny bit of concealer on a very fine tipped, firm angle brush (by Kat Von D) to give precise definition to each of my brows. I then go in with either my “Snatch and Lift” eyebrow pen or two shades of Kat Von D’s “Signature Brow” pencils and very lightly create individual hair strokes. The Thank Me Later primer with a single spritz of setting spray keeps my brows looking great all day. Nothing else is needed and I don’t have to worry about touch-up throughout the day either.Just a tip for those interested – When I have a night out planned with someone that I know usually leads to some hot, sweaty, face in the pillow all night adult activities, (which as adults, we all know those times can happen) my other secret for brows that stay put for up to 2-3 DAYS or through a wild all-nighter is a final coat of a product called “Model in a Bottle.” It looks like a bottle of pinkish clear nail polish, but it’s the BEST eyebrow sealer I’ve ever found. One swipe and your brows wont budge. Its held my brows in place even through a shower and getting pushed into the pool. =) So there you have it. This primer is one I depend on every single day that allows me to start with no eyebrows at all, to natural looking brows that last until I remove them when I’m ready to. Hopefully my review will help someone else as much as the review I read that led me to discovering this primer years ago. =)
Definitely works. This product definitely makes my eye looks last longer. At the end of the night, I still do have some creasing, but I have decently oily hooded eyes. For the price, this stuff is great and does the job. I just feel like there might be a better one out there somewhere that I have yet to find, hence 4/5 instead of 5 stars.

Absolutely the best eye primer ever. This is the best eye primer I’ve ever used. I have extremely oily skin and no primer ever worked on my eyes. The eye makeup creases after a few hours, especially on warm and humid days….literally every single time. I tried several (supposedly) highly rated eye primers until I bought this one. The first time I used this product, I was very surprised my eye makeup looks the same at the end of the day, more than 12 hours later, as it did when I first applied it….even on hot, humid days. I’m so happy I found this product and will definitely keep using it from now on.
Works on partial hooded, oily eyes :D. Okay — I almost threw this eye primer out, but I’m sure glad I didn’t! I finally figured out how to make this work for my skin/issues and I keep checking mirrors wondering when my eye makeup will inevitably crease, and it doesn’t! Find my ‘how-to’ below…Backstory — Months ago I had a birthday and decided my present to myself would be spending more time/money on makeup which led to spending more time/ money on skincare. Admittedly, I am newer as far as experience, but because of the benefits of youtube, I have learned so much from experts and self-taught alike and am likely at least intermediate status now, hehe. However, despite many good tips for partially hooded/oily eyes like mine, nothing worked. Whether it’s a light dabbing of foundation, or powder, or eye powder/ cream/ glitter, within an hour at most my eyes will have long lines in my crease and makeup on the lid has stuck to the higher hooded cave, etc. I was beginning to feel like I could only opt out or constantly dab out the little shimmer I had on my lid (I love shimmers!). But then, I put a few tips from a few sources together and it works, over and over again, it works! My eyes don’t crease to my astonishment! Here’s what I do for successful non-creasing makeup on partial hooded and moderately oily eyes:1. Avoid skincare on eye (skin) real estate, start with a clean canvas. However, I’m not going to forgo the uber important skin health protector sunscreen, so I do still use this on skin around my eyes. (Keep in mind I’m using Korean spf 50 ordered off Amazon by P.Calm – it’s amazing and throw’s all older generation spf’s out of the water (feels like light quick absorbing lotion, no sting, primes makeup, not oily, perfection! If you haven’t tried a newer generation spf for your face – do yourself an amazing favor and look for one from J or K-beauty brands NOW!)2. After ~15minutes to allow spf absorption and dry down, take a blotting tissue or equivalent (I use kim wipes) and thoroughly blot your lids, eyelashes, skin up to brow. (I’m also venturing into doing the same for my under eyes which always crease as well, but haven’t done enough to stand by the method.)3. Squeeze a ~1/2in line of ThankMeLater eye primer onto index finger (they say smaller than a pea, but essentially enough to lightly coat the eye area), then I dab primer onto the other index finger to spread evenly between both fingers, and then I dab this onto my eyes, up into my crease, and all the way up to my brows. It has a light pink/corrective color about it, and on my fair/light skin it just gently evens out the darkness under my skin. Wait ~3-5minutes until primer is fully dry and not tacky.4. I then go in again with the blotting tissue over the area to remove any moisture/oil that may remain. Finally, use a small fluffy brush, swirl and tap multiple times in translucent powder (I’m liking e.l.f.’s HD powder right now) to fill with powder but not excess, and thoroughly dust all over lids, crease, up to brows.5. Do your eye makeup!6. Finish with a matte setting spray (I’m liking the e.l.f. blue light mist), I do this after all makeup is done, but it’s possible an under and over eye shadow set spray could be effective.I haven’t done anything to wild yet, but I’m used to even a tiny smudge of cream colored shimmer or powder eye liner working its way up/melting and creasing up between my lids and hoods, and it doesn’t happen with this method and this eye primer! I’m so amazed, because I’ve tried pieces of this plan to no avail, and I had convinced myself I just can’t wear eye makeup. Also, this is so great, it works alone to just have evened-out complexion on the eyes and/or for a very modest light matte powder or highlight type shimmer, which is what I do most days!Hope this helps someone out there! Hope this also reminds us all to not hastily reject a product for skincare or makeup — I’m a perfect example — get some advice, educate yourself, experiment, and maybe you’ll find the product wasn’t a waste. I seriously tried this primer 5 times and it smudged and creased to the point that I thought it’s worse to use the primer than not, but I just hadn’t figured out what worked for me yet 🙂 Thank YOU Elizabeth Mott Thank me later eye primer!

A little goes a long way.Extends the wearability of eye shadow.
This stuff REALLY works. I’ve had oily eyelids ever since I moved to a different state a few years ago (not sure why), and the oil was shiny, so it would show, and it would erase part of my eyeliner as the day went on (not a good look). Everything I tried (other powders, creams and various eyeshadows) did NOT work. In checking the reviews on this product, one reviewer said “finally a product that does what it says.” Hmmm, that caught my attention, so I had to order it. I just got it today. First of all, I was expecting it to be thick and difficult to apply, kind of like putty or wall spackle. Neither of those were true. It’s actually a very light-weight, white cream, which goes on very easily with a few finger swipes. I used just a teeny-tiny bit on each eyelid. I dries quickly and it’s invisible. It’s hours later now, and my eyeliner is NOT melting away from any oil. In fact, the oil is gone. This stuff truly works! If you have oily eyelids, get this product, and you’ll thank me later.
Not magic, but not bad. I’m so glad I didn’t just immediately get annoyed and throw this stuff in the trash and write an angry review, because that was my first instinct when I try this primer.I personally like a natural look, and have found tinted primers make me look more natural than heavy foundation makeup. I also have very oily skin that is prone to breakouts and redness. I had been wanting to try this primer for a while now, and finally decided to purchase it when I saw a discount/deal on it.When I first applied it, I thought: “It’s too green” when applied heavily, and “it does nothing at all” when it’s applied too lightly. There is a sweet spot though! I found the best use is to apply it and start to thin it out until a pale teal cast is achieved. Then, let it dry down, and finally, apply loose setting powder. While it didn’t completely hide my breakout, it SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the look of redness, but didn’t make my face look all bumpy and cakey like foundation does. Also, due to my cool complexion, it is nearly impossible for me to find a foundation that doesn’t look too yellow or orange, but with this product, I don’t need foundation at all. It gives me just enough coverage to correct the redness that would definitely show through a foundation applied as lightly as I applied this primer, while also allowing my freckles to shine through. This is now my go-to solution for breakouts, redness, and general imperfections. I recommend pairing it with Ciaté “Extraordinary” translucent powder for an extra “blurring” effect to camouflage breakouts.Oddly enough, when I washed my face, it didn’t come off green; it was like a peachy skin color on my way cloth. I don’t know what that’s about, but not what I had expected and may have been oxidation or something.
AMAZING PRODUCT! THIS WORKS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT! IT DOES EVERYTHING IT SAYS IT WILL! ALL I CAN SAY IS TRY IT! I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY EYELINER BLEADING AND SMUDGING. I HAD BEEN USING THE SAME LINER FOR 50 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM…..ALL OF A SUDDEN MY LIDS WERE VERY OILY AND THEY WERE CAUSING THE LINER TO BLEAD IN SMUDGE. I FOUND THIS ON AMAZON AND IT REALLY WORKS! NO MORE SMUDGE AND MESS!!! YOU ONLY NEED A PEA SIZE AMOUNT ON THE LID AND THEN APPLY YOUR LINER AND EYE SHADDOW….IT WILL NOT BLEAD! MAKE SURE IT IS DRY BEFORE YOU APPLY MAKEUP! BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET!
Keeps my makeup in place for a good 8 hours. I get a really oily T-zone so I use this in conjunction with powder and finishing spray as well then blot throughout the day. It works better than the Inisfree sebum control primer for me. I really like the texture on my skin its very soft and light and creates a nice base for makeup. I mainly use this for stage makeup, it seems to hold up well even under spotlight.
High Quality Affordable Primer. I’m a professional makeup artist. I typically like something with a little tackiness to allow for color packing, but smooth enough to allow for blending. And this was absolutely perfect. The primer is tinted white, but it isn’t opaque enough to wash you out, just bright enough so it brightens the shades you put over it. The hold is IMPRESSIVE. I used this for the first time for my Halloween Bratz makeup, and wore it for 9 hours with no shift, creasing, or fading.A tiny bit goes a very long way. I like to do my brows first, and then carve the bottom out with concealer and blend it down with a brush, then pat the primer on with my ring finger. I allow it about 30 seconds to start to set before going in with shadow. If you’re wanting to do a high impact look, press the shadow directly into the primer with a denser brush and then blend it out. For a more natural every day look, you can use a cream or skin toned shadow with a fluffy brush to set it.I hope this is helpful!
Amazing product. I don’t usually write reviews. But I love this product. I like a natural and matte finish with sheer coverage, just enough to look pretty and glowy but not enough to hide your natural skin. This product is perfect. You can barely tell it’s there, it’s your skin but with this beautiful blurring effect. And it has SPF! It’s not sticky or cakey. Its also not greasy or shiny. Just this nice silky texture that melts into the skin, even mature skin, ahem. Love!
Thouraghly impressed. I hadn’t heard of this before purchasing and didn’t have very high expectations since it wasn’t very expensive, but I was pleasantly suprised. I’ve used many, many, many primers in my life from the cheapest to the most expensive and I would honestly rate this primer in the top 5. After wearing this primer under my makeup all day, when I get home from work my face still looks blurred. I’m 39 and I constantly get compliments on how my skin looks and I can partly thank this primer for that. I don’t really like scents in any products I use on my face and this has thr slightest scent that reminds me of a soft marshmallow scent. Light enough that I don’t find it offensive at all. 10/10 would recommend.
Love it. I have been using Thank Me Later face primer for a couple of years. I love this product. I recently started using the blurring primer and also like it a lot. I have tried other brands and this is the best primer I have used. It makes my face feel smooth and my makeup goes on really nice. Love it!
I like this a lot. I got the blue one with spf 30. It’s a very nice primer. It does not dry my face out like other primers I’ve tried. It goes on nice and smooth and I like that it’s tinted. It gives me an even look. I usually use a pressed powder but find that I don’t need it now.
Smooth and Long Lastjng. I kept seeing this when I would search for primer and it had good reviews. Then I saw it advertised on a show I was watching. Normally I wouldn’t pay this much for primer but splurged and Im glad I did. It comes in a smaller tube than I anticipated but a little goes a long ways so it kinda makes sense that I wouldn’t need a huge tube of it. It makes my skin soft and smooth. This primer also puts the slightest tint on my skin to semi-even the tone even though it doesn’t do much evening. My makeup stays in place all day like my other primers I’ve tried. This primer is easier to remove every night opposed to other primers that are sticky to take off my face. My face doesn’t break out like it does with other primers also.I will probably buy this again.
Works well for sensitive eyes. What I was looking for: I have hypersensitive eyes and most eyeshadow primers, eyeliners, mascaras and eyeshadows cause them to burn after 2-4 hours (with some causing angry red hives on my face that require medical attention – hooray prescription steroids). Products which claim to be “for sensitive skin” are no more successful than other products for me so I’m stuck with trial and error as my method. For comparison I have 4 options to stick eyeshadow on currently: a drug store eyeshadow primer that starts with a “Mil” (it makes my eyes burn but does okay with shadow), a drug store tattoo like shadow stick that starts with “May” (works well but hard to apply due to waxy formula and can be very drying in winter), a cheap drug store concealer (poor shadow retention and tons of creasing) and a indie brand eyeshadow primer mostly made of aloe vera and jojoba oil for dry sensitive lids (creases easily makes colors/glitters stick well at first). This primer performs as well as my “tattoo” product (which holds shadow for 8 hours no problem) but has a smoother consistency and is not drying on my lids. The color retention is EXCELLENT (on par with big name makeup brands who charge $30 + for their primers [which by the way I’m allergic to]) and my neon bright pressed pigments/shimmers look as vibrant as they are in the pan. A tiny bit goes a long way (1/2 a green pea or less for both eyes) and blending shadow is seamless with this product. By comparison, I found my concealer to lost pigmentation after 1 hour and my indie brand shadow primer smudged at the 30min, 2 hour and 4 hour marks (requiring brief reblending). I do think this performed better than the “M” drug store eyeshadow primer (considering it’s double the price I demand double the performance and it delivered – good color, no burning, 2+ extra hours of wear).I will be keeping this product and using it as replacement for my indie eyeshadow primer for winter use. I am hoping it will hold up in the summer and will update if it does not.On my fair/medium skin this appears clear with a slight white cast only discernable at “my eyebrows are touching this mirror” distance.
Good enough for me. Love this product! I’ve never used a color corrector before but I’ve ALWAYS had reddish skin. When I was a teenager you would NOT catch me leaving the house without foundation lol. Now at almost 30, I don’t care to wear foundation and haven’t in probably 8 years. I don’t mind the redness so much anymore and I realize it’s really not that bad anyway. However, when I get dolled up and do extra eye makeup, it feels less put together with my red skin, in my opinion. I wanted to start taking care of my skin so I bought a bunch of oils and figured I may as well test out color corrector too. It works great and doesn’t look heavy on my skin. I do notice toward the end of the day it may show up a bit, but it’s not too noticeable and wipes away. I don’t know if I’d recommend cause it’s the first color corrector I’ve tried, but I like it.
