Not for me. I have to say this made my hair feel soft but It’s like torture having it on my head. It stinks. Maybe I received a rancid bottle or this is just the smell, but I was dying inside after putting just a couple drops through my hair. I could not walk around with it on because I felt like everyone could smell it. I didn’t want to waste my money so I figured I could use it once every two weeks or once a month as a treatment before I wash my hair. That’s not going to happen. I tried sleeping with this in my hair and I don’t want to do that again. Anything that comes in contact with this oil has to be washed or the scent just lingers. So while it did make my hair feel soft, the reward was not worth the sacrifice. I still gave four stars because I truly don’t know if this is what it’s supposed to smell like or if it is bad. Maybe it’s just not my preference. I can’t justify giving a low rating because I don’t like the smell.
I’m already seeing improvements. I began applying this product ~1 week ago. I’m already seeing my hair is improving. Now there could be alternate reasons than the oil… although there is already scientific evidence rosemary oil helps… but it might be working quickly because you have to massage the oil into your head which fluffs up my hair and could make it so it looks better. Also massaging helps with thinning hair too. I also wash my hair more frequently cause it gets oilier faster. It also makes my hair just look nice in general and it makes it feel super soft. But irregardless, whether it’s the oil or the stuff you have to do more of because of the oil, it’s helping as you can see in my photos!
Inexpensive self care. TBH I haven’t used this long enough to see if there are any results, and whether or not these results are the result of the massaging, or the use of any oil, but this is really enjoyable to use. Some people may think it is medicinal but I love the natural herbal smell instead of the usual heavy artificial perfumes that most products have (it smells like a spa to me). It is refreshing but in a mild way, the mint is not overly strong. I like using it, it gives me an few minutes of purposeful self care, massaging into my scalp and the base of my neck. I then rub it into my cuticles. I do hope it helps with growth and hairline breakage but even if it doesn’t it does make your hair soft and shiny and it’s an affordable product that allows you a few minutes to care for yourself.

Just started. I’ve read so much good about this product I can’t wait to see my results. My first application left my hair still oily after shampooing twice in the shower but maybe I over used it. I used to have pretty thick hair but the last 6 months I’ve been shedding a lot and my hair dresser mentioned my hair thinning. I’m noticing so many spot now on my scalp. I watched so many videos and read so many blogs and I keep seeing this product. It was supper affordable so I decided to give it a try. I will update my review in a few weeks!
Personally helps with my dandruff. i got this probably about six months ago and i was not very good at using it for a while. as the weather has slowly gotten colder, my skin has been drying out a lot more. i totally forgot i had this stuff and tried a bunch of different things before remembering to use this again. it works so well for me! it makes my flakiness and itchiness go away pretty fast. i use it at least once a week as a hair mask before i shower. i leave it on for at least an hour if not more while i’m just doing homework or cleaning. and then once i shower i shampoo once with tea tree oil shampoo and then my normal shampoo. it also seems like it helps with how many wash days you can go as long as you’re consistent with it. i love this stuff! not to mention my hair feels so soft after using it!
So far so good. Ok it’s only day one but I already notice a difference. For the past few weeks I’ve been experiencing hair loss (about a palm sized area in the middle of my hard is now about 1” in length), brittle hair, breakage, and sensitive/itchy scalp. I have relaxed natural hair and the last light treatment did a number on my hair. After I wash, I quickly develop scalp scabs in the area where my hair broke off and lots of dandruff.So I ordered this after seeing the reviews and success stories. As soon as it was delivered, I applied some to my freshly washed (and scab free) scalp, braided my hair and tied my bonnet and went to sleep. In the morning, I expected my scalp to irritate me like always but it hasn’t, and there is less scabbing/buildup developing — so it’s already made a difference! I’m going to keep using this product and will keep my hair in a protective style while it grows back, so I’m optimistic.Also, I should’ve listened when reviewers said a little bit goes a long way!
RESULTS WITHIN DAYS. I lost a lot of hair due to the shampoo i was using and a nutrient deficiency. Mostly around the hairline & crown area. Along with the hair loss, I was experiencing a lot of frizz and dryness.For reference I have 2b/3a, highly porous hair and it is also quite thin. I apply this oil once a week to the scalp and twice a week to the ends (in addition to other hair care). It does not take much at all! Less is more. I have seen several reviews talking about hair loss and I must say, oils are not for everyone and incorrect use can cause breakage. Personally, I started seeing regrowth after just TWO USES. Not joking. It has also seemed to help my hair retain moisture from other conditioning products. Be sure to research how to correctly apply oils and how to care for your hair when you have oils in it.I like the smell, very minty. It has a cooling affect on the scalp. Overall, this oil does what it claims to do. This is my second bottle and I recommend it to all of my friends. Give it a shot. I said it once though and I will reiterate- RESEARCH YOUR HAIR TYPE. OILS ARE NOT FOR ALL HAIR TYPES.
does what it’s supposed to. i use this brand’s shampoo and conditioner for my slightly wavy hair. my friend recommended i try their hair oil too, so i did. i am a female to male transgender guy almost 3 years on hormone replacement, so keeping up with my hair is important to me because i don’t want to deal with male pattern baldness. i did lose some of my hair around my temples, so i have my dad’s windows peak now haha. but its thickened up again in those areas since i’ve started this hair oil. i apply it every so often to my trample areas, my scalp, and my ends, when i think about it, not every day since i don’t want my hair to look greasy. i’m part white irish and indigenous american if that matters, hair texture wise. i do try to consistently apply a day before i shower. i think it’s a good product! i like the way it smells, and i don’t feel it’s too heavy on my hair.
Great for damaged/compromised hair. I’m in my platinum phase so I bleach my hair a lot. I started using this to mitigate and repair some of the damage and it works fantastic. I just apply it to the body of my hair as a treatment and as soon as I apply it, it’s noticably stronger. With consistent use, you would never know what I put my hair through. Without this product, I might be bald. I would definitely have hair breaking off in the middle of the strand if it wasn’t for this.
