  1. Good Deal. I am a bottom feeder. I like to get a lot for a little $. When I saw the price and what this phone does and what is packed in this phone, there was some doubt that it was that good. Sometimes ‘cheap’ phones are actually cheap but also lack function and are disappointing. This ONEPLUS N200 5G – actually delivers. The N200 looks good. The screen is bright and responds fast. The fingerprint reader is positioned a little higher than I like but not enough to make it not pleasing to use. If you do not like to use fingerprint then use the face recognition. The N200 is very fast. The size of the phone is large but it is slightly a little narrow. This makes for fitting in a hand comfortable. The back is plastic but then a phone case will protect it.It is Android with what ONEPLUS calls ‘Oxygen’. This means a few ‘bells and whistles’ make the phone fun to use. If you used Samsung or Motorola there is a very little learning curve.I purchased this phone based upon Amazon’s return policy. If i did not like the phone then I would return it and get something I do like. This phone is a keeper. I like it. I like it a lot!I read many reviews about this phone and almost everything about this phone was favorable except the camera. I was very skeptical about the picture quality. After using the camera and being critical I decided it is not that bad. I compared the photos to the new Apple iPhone SE 5G (2022). Yes the iPhone had better quality photos but not by much. The iPhone costs twice the price of the N200. The photos in the N200 are better than Motorola G7 Plus phone. The N200 phone is acceptable for photos in my opinion. One thing you cannot beat is the price of this phone.Update One Year Later ….This phone was satisfactory to use as my initial review mentions. However, the little idiosyncratic gremlins begins to grow as time goes on. I am not sure if it is because Android was updated or this is part of the phone. Security tells me that my phone is secure. I ruled that out.The phone becomes annoying as I use it more. For instance, I want to take a picture, Get the phone in my hand, press the power button. This is a fingerprint reader that looses its ability to read fingerprints but is still set. Wait 1-2 seconds. Now wait for the ‘Brightness Compensation’ to adjust. That is another 1-2 seconds. Now press the camera button. Another 1-2 seconds to open. Aim and shoot. There is even a lag when the shutter is pressed and the shot is taken. This phone is slow. I knew that but I did not expect it to slow more.I cleaned out the memory and hoped that would help. Nope!Folks, the phone has some really nice features for the price but remember, you will pay for that in this phone by way of its performance. However, as I said, I am a bottom feeder and like to get the most for the least. It has been a year so I will begin another search for a new phone.

  3. Do Yourself a Favor. So, this phone is not that bad if you are just a regular user of the phone. The battery life is exceptional, but for me, it runs just okay. The fingerprint reader and the face unlock work flawlessly. The sound it can produce and the screen is very smooth (90hz) and has a very nice color spectrum. So you might be wondering why would I leave only 3 stars, let me first let me state that I have been buying One Plus for some time and I understand this is a renewed (no issues) low-budget phone. The problem is with my work I am constantly on multiple apps at once, and that is when it starts to slow down significantly to the point I want to pull out what little hair I have left. I instead have returned it and ordered a One Plus 9 for only 30$ more. Much faster phone with much more RAM (8GB vs 4GB) plus a better processor and warp charge, that was another issue my last phone was One Plus 7t, which got ran over by a Ford F250 and worked fine, but my fat butt gets up to go to the bathroom and it broke.Anyways, that phone has a 30w charger so I could charge the entire phone in less than 30min, this one only has an 18w one, and think of it as a 5000mah with only 18w charger, it takes a bit to charge, but it does last an entire day.I love One Plus and their great phones, but this is not the ones for me. Perfect for someone who does not do much but text and FB on their phone.

  4. Excellent phone even at twice the price. First of all: I only use my phone about 8-12 hours a day max, and am usually on wifi, unless i’m driving. The vibration motor in the phone reminds me of the HTC I owned in 2010 ( I turned off vibration/feedback in Android.)Facial recognition is quick but my work phone (iphone 12) is faster. Same level of accuracy though. : )This is my first android in 13 years, I like android more than I thought. I downloaded the Niagra launcher from play store, that makes everything easy to reach with one thumb. (Big phone+I have medium hands.)

  6. Good phone for the $. Replaced my Samsung Galaxy S10 with this. My main complaint is the Camera. Which I never thought much about, until now. If you are trying to make videos and make a living via pictures, I wouldn’t suggest this phone. But for a cheap replacement it works. I’d go with the 300 if I had to do it again.

Excellent budget phone, makes you wonder if you are using a flagship. I have followed OnePlus since the beginning and have been buying/using their phones since the OP6. My mom is older and has had smartphone for several years now, but she uses Tracfone and buys their budget basement phones for $50 or $100. I recently bought her this phone as an upgrade, then found out that Verizon had purchased Tracfone some time ago and was moving all users over to their towers. I was hesitant to keep the phone but there were several encouraging reviews for Verizon users. The day I did the sim card swap from my mom’s old phone, this seemed like a phone I would use myself. Apps function flawlessly. Excellent speed and great reception in my small, central PA hometown.

  10. Why spend $1000 on a crApple Iphone 🤣. For 180 bucks…im getting a phone thats better than my 800 dollar iphone se. Dont expect to be “gaming” or “editing” with this phone, but with whats inside (hardware/software) your not going to find a better deal with better quality (unless your ordering xiaomi…which is neck and neck). Ill NEVER EVER buy a samsung or crap iphone again. I had a OnePlus 10 pro a few years back…paid 800, BLEW MY IPHONE13 pro out of the water in EVERY aspect…NO BLOAT WARE, better processor, refesh rate, ghz, camera quality, screen size/quality, gorilla glass quality…etc etc etc…i ONLY bought the cheapest iphone to have access to my pictures, looks like im saying goodbye to ALL of the stuff on icloud cuz im never buying apple again.Next phone will definitely be a OnePlus 👍
