  1. Natramigen is great but ready made…ehhh. Let me first say that I am not going to knock this formula at all! This formula has been a life saver to us. Our son’s little tummy wouldn’t agree with my breastmilk, none of the gentle formula’s or soy formulas. The doctor said to try a probiotic then if that didn’t work she would have us try this or alimuntem, well we went out on our own and after a comparison of the two I decided that we were going to try to Nutramigen. OMG, it works! No more, screaming, no more going through bottles of gas medicine, no more bouts of crying fits. Our baby was just a happy little 1.5 month old and we have been so grateful since then (he’s now 5 months). Now…this is my first time purchasing the ready to feed formula, I did so ONLY because it was such an amazing deal at $23 for the 6 pack which turns out to be 48 4oz bottles vs the can we normally buy for $51 which is 49 4oz bottles pretty significant savings. Anyway, I thought I am going to be so spoiled with this ready made formula. Boy was I WRONG! Once you open it, it needs to be refrigerated and warming up a cold bottle is such a pain and lengthy process especially in the middle of night. So much so, that we went out and purchased another can for his middle of the night feedings. (I have a Baby Brezza water warmer so I don’t deal with warming the water, just add the formula and keep it moving). Also, I realized that if we want to go out we will need to have powder formula because once you open the bottle you have to refrigerate and unless you plan to keep it on ice, that’s a total waste. The fact that you have 48 hours to use it doesn’t make a difference to me because he’s drinking 5-6oz at a time and we can definitely use the whole bottle in that window.

  2. If you’re reading this hang in there. First of all congratulations on your baby! If you are extremely exhausted and full of anxiety DON’T WORRY, you will get through this! There’s nothing quite like being totally sleep deprived with a new baby that screams and throws up after every meal. People who say “oh weird, our baby never cried and always went right to sleep after eating”… I have one thing to say to you ma’ams and sirs: YOU SIT ON A THRONE OF LIES. Just kiiiiddding! That sounds amazing, but wasn’t the case for us. We tried about 7 different kinds of formula and she had the same reaction to all of them – obvious discomfort, gas, screaming, and vomiting after a meal. Although the ingredients in this one aren’t the best (corn and soy products) we got to the point of just being grateful to find something she could keep down and happily handle. This is pretty much the story of parenting, take wins where you can get them!

  4. Good formula for infants/babies with allergies. The wife started buying these a few months ago when it was found that are daughter has an allergy to lactose. No issues at all with this formula. 2 stars for flavor and smell, as we are not drinking it, and formula burps are potent. 🤣

  6. Life saver. So glad to have found these. 10/10

  7. Great formula. It’s what my grandson loves, and it provides the nutrients he needs (he’s lactose intolerant). Sometimes difficult to find.

  8. Hard to calculate. One 32oz bottle is only 600 calories. Wish they’d put that on the package. It was very well tolerated though – worth the cost.

  10. SO WORTH THE MONEY. This is gonna be really long but hoping it’ll help other parents. Our boy is 8 weeks today and it’s been HELL to say the least. From day 1 he has been extremely colicky, uncomfortable, crying 24/7, not gaining appropriate weight, would be awake for 8 plus hours at a time. I knew something was wrong and had went to the doctors multiple times. I was told he had acid reflux and he was put on medication as well as told to change formulas. I switched his formula 6 times. The medicine seemed to help for about a week but even that wasn’t doing much. 5 days ago I called the doctor and said I wanted a different doctor(I had already seen 2 at this point) and said something is wrong and I want to know what it is. This doctor immediately said he had a milk protein allergy. She said reflux was common in babies with this allergy, as well as his mucous like diarrhea 15x a day. She told us to try nutramigen. I was VERY hesitant to switch formulas again and also to spend the money.Well, after about 12 hours he was seeming to be less uncomfortable. After 24 hours he was sleeping way longer at night. After 48 hours we had a completely different baby. Finally at 8 weeks he is no longer in pain. He is smiling, happy, playing, NAPPING, sleeping 2-3 hours longer at night. Only cries now when he is hungry or needs to burp. I wish we would’ve been told this sooner and started this sooner that is my only regret.
